Okay I’m probably not the first person to notice this but…
Why does Adam Warlock in the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie remind me so much of Jack Kline?
#supernatural#jack kline#guardians of the galaxy#adam warlock#gotg3#spoilers#seriously super power adult child with golden eyes#also the scene at the end with him in the corner kinda left of the survivors is just like the finale of season 13

Desire: “Oh dear if it isn’t the Saltman.”
Dream: “Good evening sibling, and how are your grandchildren?”
Desire: “Fine, how’s the dead son?”
Dream: (one foot already on the table like he didn’t just set himself up for this) “You DARE!”

I’ve seen a lot of people portray Desire as the flamboyant sibling and Dream as the toned down kinda drab serious one
Let’s be serious though.
They are both just two different brands of dramatic messy bitch.

Man I can't believe the writers wrote "Jack is a kid with the weigh of the world on his shoulders," and then decided the big problem they needed to fix was Jack being a naive kid.
SPN Writers:

Me: “It suck for Jack, he’s just a kid who’s always had the weight of the world on his shoulders and really only wants to be with his family.”
SPN Writers: “We can fix that!”
Me: “???”
SPN Writers: “We’ll give him ultimate knowledge so he’s no longer really a kid mentally and then he can lift the weight of the world no problemo. Also though what’s the fAmILiLy you speak of?”
Me: “...”
Me: “Get out.”

Jack would have never let Dean just die regardless of how Dean has treated him poorly in the past, especially only a short time after the Winchester’s became free of Chuck. That’s goes completely against his nature.
I’m fully convinced God!Jack is an imposter now.
Or more likely the writers just didn’t give a crap. Supernatural is supposed to be all about family but the writers just went “lol, what?” and ignored the family they built. And Sam’s family they didn’t even care enough to give a clear shot of his wife to let us know whether or not it was Eileen.
I don’t know what to make of 15x19 except.
Jack’s resolution was massively out of character for him and I dislike how the writers bypassed Jack’s need to learn and grow by shelving his aunt in his brain.
And how easy he walked away from his family. Like wtf was the point of Jack having that conversation with his now recently deceased father Castiel about cherishing the time he has with his human family because they are only alive for a little while? Or what about Jack’s talk with Dean when he was dying about how he wanted more than anything to have more happy moments and time with his family. OH YEAH just like the BS Amara in the brain excuse Jack doesn’t have to spend any actual time with his family now because “god is everywhere”.
It’s not like Jack’s innocence and his love for his family were two of people’s favorite parts about his character or anything…
It’s not like having the weight of the world on his shoulders and the world not being safe for him to grow up normally in were two huge weights Jack had on him and making Jack god basically cranks those things up to 11 while pretending they’re now positive things.
Anyway I’m salty. Thanks Bucklemming, I hate it.

I could go into more detail, but uh — I’m not going to.

I found myself lost. I didn’t know what my purpose was anymore. And then one day, something changed, something amazing. I… I guess I found a family, and I became a father. And in that, I rediscovered my faith. I rediscovered who I am.
