how getting into the monkees works:
0. pick one monkee at random (difficulty: trivial) consider them cute. many people pick davy. not necessarily to devote any further time to this skillet.
1. unlock your inner torkhead (difficulty: easy. accidentally unlocked after learning 2-3 facts about him) he was the dummy. he was the genius. he wrote a song about peace and love and they named it after him and made it the end credit song. he was a poster child for the 60s. he was autistic. he topped. he deserved better.
2. become a nezhead (difficulty: moderate. possible to skip step 1 but you have to be a sicko who likes emotionally stunted men. difficulty decreases if you put points into torksmith during step 1.) he hated peter. he hated his mom. he loved his wife. he cheated on her. he had a deeply rich and complex and underrated music career. most of his work is a tender emotional deep dive despite, well, all of that other stuff. he invented mtv. he was the liquid paper nepo baby.
3. reclass into mickygirlism. (difficulty: hard. requires a complete reevaluation of the monkees, their cultural impact in the 60s, and the context of micky's solitary longevity.) most people claim that it is too strenuous and painful to get a true read on micky. he has a beautiful soul. you could really be here for years.
4. embrace the vortex of David Jones. (difficulty: godly. only one person has been known to achieve this. you can try but it will seriously take susan pike levels of dedication and you know it's not worth it. if you need to resort to davygirl behaviors please utilize step 0.)

I can’t believe they’re making milf Peter work 3 doubles in a row after being called in to do 2 extra night shifts. He’s manic and dissociating, but at least those paychecks are gonna look good

Just a Mike I drew about a week ago. I don't draw as often as I used to, but I still get the urge every once in awhile.
