Been under pressure lately. Here’s a hollow knight I doodled to destress. I’d like to learn to draw the characters consistently (especially the mantis lords, they’re my favourite). There is so much amazing fanart for this game, and drawing stabby bugs is just so relaxing. Also the OSTs are beautiful.

This is my submission for Maggie’s cdth art contest. I know there’s a lot of amazing fanart already out there, but here’s my attempt based upon one of my own dreams (would you believe that I saw Chainsaw there and knew her name before I read any part of The Raven Cycle?). Sometimes you read a book or a poem or a paragraph or even just a sentence and you feel seen. On page 19 of Call Down the Hawk, I felt that - I felt seen.

not that anyone cares but you know what I'd love to see? quiet little acnh game vlogs - like a tasteful combo of chill Korean vlogging and Minecraft channels. I can't afford the game myself, but I'd watch the heck out of videos like that...
