“...” Talbain rose a brow. He was approached without hesitation by such a person. He beared an odd scent. Quite a grim one. “...I’m exactly what you think. A werewolf. Somehow I doubt you’re surprised.”
@momentslicing
♥ - A wolf? You’ve got to be kidding. Is there really a wolf standing right in front of them? Yes, yes there it. Great now they hate this place even more. Disgusting, filthy animals like this roaming free? By the fact that it’s on two feet, they’re assuming it can talk too. Just great. A talking wolf if. A walking like a human, talking wolf. They mentally cursed the stupid scientists before talking to the disgusting creature.
♦ - “What, exactly, are you supposed to be?”

Kurama was just trying to make his way back home after a long day of walking across the city, though it was hard to move across the enormous crowd. Typically the evenings were the time the crowds would get larger, all for a variety of different reasons: getting home from a shift, looking for a bite to eat, or looking for something to do during the night time. Though Kurama tried to get somewhere far away from the inner section city as soon as possible, after all, it did tend to be dangerous during the nighttime. He was thinking something abnormal wouldn’t happen, he would get somewhere safe. But then he saw a large wolf staring at him, sure, he was used to creatures like this in the Demon Realm… But this has been ages he’s been face to face with one. He could only hope they meant no harm. “Oh… Hello. What brings you here?”
The wolfman sensed a calm sense over the boy. Perhaps another use to likes of Darkstalekrs such as himself. Regardless, his scent was strong. He wasn’t sure how to take how thick it was, especially from one such person. Perhaps there was more to this one than his appearance, much like many of the other residents.
“My apologies... I must admit I was attracted to the scent of roses that came from you. I never would have imagined that they would all have been from one person alone and not some kind of store.”

“Hrn...” In the distance, the wolfman heard the sound of some kind of instrument. It was a very soft sound, perhaps some kind of harp. He would peer around to see where the source of the sound lied.

At the moment, the wolfman didn’t notice the boy. Among all these people, his only focus was on finding something, and lasting beyond finding his answer. After staying for long enough, he was much calmer towards aiming to achieve his goal.
“They say it’s somewhere in this area... It must be close.”

“….” The things he’s beginning to see in this city. Wow. Fingers curls, but not out of fear, more so out of thought and they uncurl. This….Guy reminds him of someone from a video game. A game he actually played when he was younger. Before everything went to shit. How odd. He must be new, not that Edgar isn’t any new himself.

After a long while of the wolf’s stay in the vast, yet strange city, Talbain had become far more confident in being able to cope with the residence here, in addition to himself. Many encounters and even simple meetings did not make this easy, but his bearings were certainly within grasp. With his clawed dulled, and weapon softened, it honed his skills further.
Snow touching down, the wolf made his way through town, able to avoid questions or ridicule. However, somewhat nearby, the scent of roses caught his nose through the chilling air. He would stop at the corner where the scent was strong, peering around curiously expecting to see some sort of Flower Shop...

It’s been far too long without any communication. Had to get a lot taken care of over the past month and had a lot to deal with, but now I’m ready to start writing again, and could really use a warm-up.
Like for a short starter, uncapped.

“Kind of jealous if this is natural.” She continued to thread her fingers in the fur. When she felt she had her fill, she pulled her hand away.
“Thanks for the lovely experience. So then are you some sort of werewolf or another form of being?” After that kind of situation her curiosity bubbled to the surface.
“I suppose I don’t mind if it makes you happy. ...It’s true. I am a werewolf.” He would cross his arms before he began to explain himself, or rather, explain just what he was.
“The real story is that I am half-human, half-Darkstalker. My parents were two different species and I was born into both. I never new them, since my mother is supposedly dead. My father is out there somewhere, but I have my own interests. It ultimately doesn’t matter to me.”

It wasn’t as if he were interested in introductions in the first place, but this was all wrong. Sonic’s soles patted the lifeless ground as if to inspirit it. “Do you have eyes? I’m attractive! What ya see is what is; McDreamy on the move, ‘bout to fist bump a ghost. Maybe in the face if they wanna play.”
“If ya think my talk’s cheap, you better not mess. C’mon big boy, gimme your paw! Up high! Sonic style!” The boy insists, hand outstretched. It was crude, it was conceited; but it didn’t seem he meant any harm by it. Underneath all of that bragging, the hedgehog was enthused. Almost too excited to keep his hand still. It twitched intently.
The hedgehog sure seemed confident. Something about his way of thinking and his speed fit him somehow. While he didn’t seem mischievous, Talbain was simply unable to trust many from the get-go. However, he reminds himself, yet again, that it wouldn’t be the way to get himself out of this large of a predicament.
“...Hah. Confident are you?” As he made his comment, he would take his offer and meet his clawed hand to the other’s gloved own with a smirk. “And what’s your name, hedgehog?”

His words reassured Scott, and he let out a sigh of relief.
“Oh uh, no, sorry… I sorta thought you were one of those things that attacked me when I first got here.” He pushed himself up to his feet, he did have a good point after all. “Sorry about that… I’m sure you get that a lot here.” He held his hand out for a handshake. “I’m Scott.”
In turn of reassuring the individual, his own words did as well. He didn’t expect someone to imagine him always going through this. This also might have been the first time he was offered a hand-shake, though he probably couldn’t remember. He’d take up his offer.
“You know? No one ever wonders about such a thing. I certainly do, but it’s fine. You can call me Jon.”

Hearsay the hedgehog picked up from the winds he’d traveled was not always enough to capture his attention. Horror stories and rich lore on the other hand clung to him like the cool moisture he breathed. The ghoulish fog that whispered into the soft insides of his ears struck a different tune. There was little more than wet air that seeped into his fur and chilled his skin. Sonic hadn’t thought ahead to bring a jacket, but his blood flow enhanced his warmth the more his sneakers drummed against the tattered ground. He responded to the superstitious lure of sector one’s pariahs and only stopped to confirm there really were no civilians out so late. Sonic stood, nose twitching, seeking the scent of rust or the groans of the deceased. He thought he only imagined it, discarding the importance of it. Even if it was real, Sonic’s own selectivity prevented him from stopping sooner. It was his reconsideration that motivated him to turn back, but to his pleasure the beast had followed his trail. “Oh noooooo, a ghost! I’ll never make it outta here ali–”
“You have got to be kiddin’ me. I come all the way to ghost town for a wolf? Not my idea of a spooky tourist attraction…”
It certainly was a surprise. He was expecting something that wasn’t the average creature, that’s for sure, but it seemed to be a blue hedgehog. Granted, there was stranger that he both encountered and experienced. His biggest surprise was in the speed, and still surprised at just how swiftly he moved earlier.
Talbain accepted the surprise on the hedgehog’s end as well. One would be uncommon to the other, of course. He would aim to be direct in his approach.
“Sorry, but I’m not simply an attraction. What you’re seeing right now is what is. Besides, just what creature do you happen to be?”

“...Hey, don’t worry. I’m not going to eat you, alright? I’m sure that’s what you’re thinking.”
Talbain had gotten this reaction many times. Most likely, he wasn’t going to eat the individual. This one was no different, having done nothing to deserve it, nor seemed to be a threat. The only hazard he was is that the wolf was about to trip over him. He may not have realized him otherwise.
“You also might not want to be sitting here on the road...”
@momentslicing
Walking home from work was always a hassle for Scott. It’s not that he wasn’t used to walking in the dark, it was that he wasn’t used to walking in the dark in a realm full of the unpredictable.
Speaking of the unpredictable, Scott felt the front of his shoe catch on something and soon his face met sidewalk. Large, red and comic book esqe letters appeared above him.
He stayed like that for a minute or two before looking up. His gaze met a rather intimidating looking..wolf? His mind immediately went to the wolf creature that attacked him when he first arrived in the city and he made the most ungodly sound.
“PLEASE DON’T KILL ME I’M TOO PRETTY TO DIE–”

The wolf was heading his own way in order to find supplies for the small place he stayed. Lacking the ability to live as others, he scavenged for what he required, in addition to hunting, though difficult. He became quite use to it regardless.
However, his search was halted as he soon stopped in his tracks. Ever since heading out, Talbain had a strange feeling. It was almost as if something was following him. He wasn’t much surprised, though annoyed by being watched.
“Grh... Who’s there?” His eyes would form a glare as he turns his head. His instincts just wouldn’t lower, even now.

The wolf was moving quickly across the space to avoid any of the odd beings that began to form since a few weeks ago. He knew he couldn’t face them all, so he instead sought out what could be the cause. However, while aiming to find its source, something passed him by, stopping him in his own swift tracks.
“What-- ...What was that...!?” A blue streak sped past Talbain. He was hard to make out, but having vision as good as his, he was able to see that it was no projectile, nor vehicle. It was something, or someone. What surprised him more was just how fast it was. Possibly even faster than him?

“Whaaaat?!”
Hajime was shocked - how could anyone be mean to a cute little doggie?!
“How could they look down on you? You’re so tall!”
A small joke, but she hoped it would bring a smile to his face.
“Well you don’t have to worry about that with me! I’m nice, and a good friend, I promise!”
“Hah, it’s alright. I’m certain I can trust your words.” *He scratched his head with a smile. It was reassuring to the wolf.* “Despite my size, there are those that judge my kind heavily. Enough to the point of hunting us down.”
