So much collecting in #sanfrancisco . I only have a week left to collect, wash, and prepare all the material I’ll use in the next year. I’m keeping a list this time of the number and types of bags. If I was awesome like the artist @lauriefrick , I’d be able to chart them somehow. Anyway - I’m over 1,000 collected at the moment. House sitting in SF and I found a bag packed with the HARD TO FIND pink thank you bags. (Don't you all just wish for these every time you dumpster dive??)They used to fill up the streets of SF China town. They were everywhere!! Back in black going to a new home. This work started with a huge roll of black garbage bags that a friend of mine had opened and didn't fit his container. The rest of black bags I collected from recycling centers. Today was dress up like @raybrownpencil day at the festival. Ray has some of the best drawings at @festivalpageant and I thought dressing like him might bring me some of that sweet sweet magic. Sister on the runway at @festivalpageant fashion show. Yesterday's haul from a couple of recycling centers in LB. Still haven't found the best spot in Southern California to scavenge. Might have to try LA later on. Nothing has compared yet to the bottle recycling centers in SF.
