Happy Birfday to my not!twin, @trilobitepunch ! I felt like Raph and Donnie needed appropriate-sized cupcakes for this.

Found an old Tech sketch in my folders and tried drawing over it to see what I could fix. Originally, he was reading a book, but I...decided against it?? Maybe I was looking at the technical features of how sleeves work, but now that I'm more awake, the pose looks strange. It might be the proportions! I suppose that's what happens if you work on something late at night.

I had a lot wrong with the reading pose, too, but as previously mentioned...

Real talk, though - I wanted to draw him in a Taishō era style. The kimono looks too plain, but again, I was at that point where I didn't want to try rendering it further.

I'm also in danger of drawing everyone in profile facing right ahahaha

Man, I dunno why I've been keeping track of the numbers on the Fives and Echo drawings, but it's fascinating to see how fast the Fives piece has caught up.

I don't expect things to go the way they do, but I'm glad people like it! Now I need to go and wrestle some fitted sheets into submission.

I do not own a kotatsu, but I did want to draw the Bad Batch with one.

All four of the original Bad Batch members are present in the room, but only three are actually visible. On the right side of the low table, Wrecker is hunched over, arms folded as he dozes off after snacking on blue potato chips. In the center back, Tech busies himself with his datapad, clearly unbothered by the fact that he isn't exactly seated table-side. Hunter is on the left , but looks uncomfortable; in fact, he's slightly annoyed at the lump underneath the quilted blanket that is taking up space in the front where two other people can sit properly. And that lump...is Crosshair, ignoring everyone while he's napping. His socks stick out on the right side.

Came across a few Gartic Phone doodles from a long time ago. Lol I did all of these according to whatever prompts everyone was dropping in and I guess I never shared them:

The prompt was something about Rex being Done™ with Fives ↓

Somehow a fridge was involved...

And then there was one about The Bad Batch having a dinner? A Thanksgiving dinner? I don't remember anymore >:|a ↓

So I'm late. That's not gonna stop me, time is a concept and it will fold.

Getting to the meat of this: I wanted to do a DTIYS for the longest and I fumble it every time there is one. HOWEVER. @trilobitepunch set one up and of course I procrastinated on it I finally got to slap everything down.

Much like the last time, this took a little longer to complete. Real Life and all. That aside, can't have one ARC Trooper picture without the other.

So @trilobitepunch got me this nifty pen tablet for Christmas and I spent a good chunk of the afternoon trying to figure it out. I wasn't used to seeing the textures in the brushes. Or having my laptop screen projected onto the tablet for that very purpose. It was a very weird experience!

Also the colors are more saturated on the tablet than on my laptop for some reason, but it's all working! Echo became the experimental subject for this piece, sorry Echo. Hope the knit sweater/jumper evened that all out.

Yeah I know raven should have been the bird corvid raven, but

I have no idea why I never draw Raven in any of her official costumes. I'm still not settled on the original concept as demonstrated here, but I'm dealing.

Day 12 - REFLECTION

Boy howdy, it's December again

YEAH SO HI

HELLO EVERYONE

It's a bit later than I originally planned because I literally didn't want to do anything last week BUT I finished my time with the Irei Project at the museum! I made a post about it on insta and I forgot to thank God for the opportunity as well (my bad, I know) so I'm adding that here. Now that it's done, I only come in to do data processing. Although I may continue helping with family research in the future or something like that. We'll see how it all plays out, considering the museum's going to close for renovations...

For the time being, I'll still be floating around. I'm trying to get back into things again, I can't multitask worth beans. >.<;

Also I see things have been busy here! As always, thanks for passing through and liking the stuff I've thrown on here. I'm continually surprised by the activity and how far my art reaches and I appreciate every one of you. <3

The short long short of it is I was having trouble with the sketch and the skin pattern, but I pushed myself to at least get the piece done. And now that it's done, we can now move on.)
