Summary:

He had only been trying to be friendly with the Queen. Queen Rapunzel of Corona was a kind, gentle, and bright soul, who cared so deeply about things, perhaps more than she should be.  She believes too much of the best in people, and wants nothing but the best for the people of the kingdom.  It almost seemed cruel she was born so high with a heart so full and big. Forced to fight for her husband’s, the king, flippant attention. An outcast in her own court just because the kingdom was at odds with Corona. She kept her head high as best she could, but the misery was clear. Eugene had just been doing his duty.

AN: A few weeks ago I rewatched BBC's The Musketeers. It made he want a New Dream AU of it. So this it, just a fun little self-indulgence blurb of an AU. But I hope you enjoy. The cheating warning is only there because Rapunzel is married.

Moonlight was pouring in though the window, bright with the full force of its fullness.  Bursting through the window panes in beams broken up only by the shadows of the window frame.  Eugene’s crib rocked gently from side to side as it was designed to soothe a baby in their sleep without picking them up.  And the faintest, barely-visible outline woman stood in the moonlight. -- Or 5 times people witness something haunting around Eugene Fitzherbert, and 1 time Eugene mentioned it.

AN: This is a late Halloween fic. But I wasn't happy with it when it was Halloween. But like...it was five days ago, so it's close enough. Slightly inspired by this post.

Rewatching BBC's Musketeers (because it's good and fun) and giving me fun little New Dream ideas.

Specifically, Aramis' and the Queen's relationship. Mostly because Aramis has "Flynn Rider" moments. But also the angst of it. Now I just want a New Dream version of it.

oh my gosh the part of my Forbidden Love AU that I am working on is so long! It's the longest in the series so far. I am so close to the end of it like in terms of points of plot, but probably stlll so far from the end.

Just a little update!

Hey Everyone,

The storm passed yesterday and everything were I currently am is fine. It was a long night on Wednesday, but where I am was really, really, really lucky. Where I am staying has power and internet.

My house is completely fine it just, last I checked, has no power. Which I will happily take, and I was able to clear out my fridge and bring everything over to where I am staying.

Everyone we have heard from so fair is doing alright, and it's mainly no power and some down branches and trees. But no extensive damage. Thankfully the weather had been nice, and everyone is working back towards normalcy.

My heart goes out to everyone who was more affected by the storm, and that everyone is staying safe.

So, a huge storm is headed towards the area where I live. It's still like two days, but it's expected to have huge impacts, like power outages, and I am just expecting damage to my home (just preemptively). I am sort of evacuating, right now it's playing a lot of stuff by ear.

I am just posting this to say that as much as I will try to write, I am expecting to sort of not be able to for a while after thing pass.

YES!!! I love to headcanon that she does have a habit of following him around ever since he was a baby (but occasionally spends time with Edmund as well). And at time as intervened in Eugene's life in like the form of nudging a spare coin rolling his way, or his shirt snagging on something preventing him, or someone looking the other way because they heard something.

And she is the clearest ghost Eugene sees after Rapunzel revived him, but he had no clue who she is until they go to the the Dark Kingdom.

In the spirit of Halloween, you think the ghost of Eugene’s mother follows him around wherever he goes?

Okay, while the current part of my Forbidden Love AU that I am working on is getting divided up into chapters. (Probably three of them).

I just finished writing two parts of the fic and it's close to be as long as some of the fics in the series.

Summary:

Flynn was trailing after Rapunzel. Had been for the better part of a few hours. Keeping a careful but relatively close distance to her.  Just close enough to not completely lose her and her guards in the crowd, and to assist Rapunzel with slipping away when the right opportunity presented itself.  Yet not too close that her guards noticed they had a tail, or that that tail was Flynn Rider.  Or that Flynn Rider was in any radius of Corona’s precious princess.

AN: It's Rapunzel's Birthday in my Forbidden Love AU. I am so excited to finally post this. And I hope you all enjoy.

Also I drew something for this fic after like 7 or 8 years of not drawing. It's not great but I am proud of it.
