Traditional family values

First officer’s log, July, 8th, 2019. Here in Russia they celebrate the Day of family, love and loyalty. That’s very important when we speak about #domesticviolence and #metoo.

Here in Russia 80% of women judged for murder were protecting themselves from aggressive husbands and fathers. Lots of women and girls are killed by their family. No one cares: we don’t have a law against family violence.

Men can kill their wives and children because they are upset, men can harass girls and women, and there’s no law to protect the innocent. Police doesn’t work properly: you call the police, and they say ‘If he kills you we come’.

I heard at the unspiritual Europe (as they say, Gayrope) parents can’t beat each other and the kids. But here in Russia in god we trust, so men can beat the weak and the minor. So we have the Day of Love, Family and Loyalty.
