I just finished Dark… yeah 4 years after it ended… and became obsessed with Noah and Elisabeth’s love story, as well as Regina and Aleksander’s… but sadly the fandom is dead and I already went through all of their AO3 fanfics, as well as the ones here in Tumblr… and YET I NEED MORE. Do you have any recommendations? 😔😩😭

THE FACE OF AN ANGEL (2014)
Jesus, Joseph, Mary, and the wee donkey... what a trainwreck of a movie but Daniel Brühl looks ridiculously hot here—the turtlenecks and one strand of hair that kept falling out of place were doing it for me—also his friendship with Cara Delevigne's character is cute so it's not a complete write-off.
p.s. Have I seen this more than once? I plead the Fifth.

Chagny Fancasts, anyone?
Have to say, clearly there is an Aesthetic™ to the look I expect from a de Chagny man (mustachio and wavy curls a must!). I've considered ~all~ of these men as a great face for either Raoul or Philippe at some point.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson (upper left) remains the forerunner for Raoul specifically. He had that perfect Leroux!Raoul baby face and dramatic yet vulnerable flair when he played Vronsky. Still, Tom Hughes (bottom left) definitely has a great vibe for a more melancholic or steely Vicomte, or a musical-leaning Vicomte. But he also makes me think of Philippe, which I guess is fitting given musical!Raoul often feels like a splice of the book brothers!
Rupert Friend (upper right) and Philip Froissant (bottom right) meanwhile are other Philippe-specific options. Granted, they and Tom Hughes were all a decade too young in these roles, but they just scream the vibes I am looking for! Rupert Friend has this insistent steadiness to him that I would expect from le Comte, and the admittedly more Chagny-likely coloring of the two actors. Still, I cannot pass up a mention of Froissant because he as Franz Joseph just has this seriousness about him, even when he's openly vulnerable or laughing. The frustrated elder brother/too young patriarch vibe is just undeniable! I could easily see him carrying on a night life and an affair with a dancer, all the while prioritizing duty and society and managing those around him with a natural ease. If we were ever to get a proper Philippe/Chagny brotherhood on screen, I'd want the elder to exude that energy.
