"If I were a lesser man, I would confess my heart to you here, where no eyes can witness our folly."
"You speak of honor, my lord, but your gaze tells a different story."
"Duty binds us to another, but it is my heart that is drawn to you."
"A single dance is all I ask. Let the world say what they will."
"Your marriage contract is written in ink, but our bond was sealed in blood."
"There is no greater treason than what my heart conspires when I see you."
"A crown is a heavy burden, my lady, but it would rest lighter if you were by my side."
"Tell me your heart belongs elsewhere, and I shall never speak of this again."
"It would be a scandal if they knew how often I think of you."
"A marriage of alliances is what they see, but between us, I see more."
"Your touch is forbidden, but I crave it more than all the gold in the kingdom."
"My honor demands I walk away, yet here I remain, waiting for you."
"Shall we speak of politics, or shall we speak of what truly lies between us?"
"Your father’s alliances are well and good, but none can offer what I do—my heart."
"Would you defy your House to be with me? For I would burn the world to claim you."
"Let the court whisper all they wish. My only concern is your heart."
"There are eyes upon us, but do they know how deeply I adore you?"
"Do not speak of duty when your hand fits so perfectly in mine."
"One day, my love, they will write songs of the battles we fought to be together."
"If I must marry her, then know my heart will always belong to you."
"The realm would shatter if they knew the depths of my affection for you."
"A prince may sit upon the throne, but I rule only when you are near."
"You’re promised to another, but every word you speak feels like a vow to me."
"Your kiss would be the end of my honor, yet I cannot resist the temptation."
"I will marry for duty, but I shall love only for you."
"My kingdom is vast, but without you, it is empty."
"If you give me a sign, just one, I will renounce all that ties me to her."
"The stars above witness what I cannot say aloud—I am yours."
"Is it love or a dangerous game we play, my lady?"
"I would bend the knee to no one but you."
"Your name is on the lips of courtiers, but it is my heart that whispers it at night."
"I see the burden of your crown, and I wish only to share it with you."
"I could face a thousand armies, but your smile is what truly unmans me."
"They say the gods have destined our paths, yet my heart rebels for you."
"A kiss from you would ruin me, but what a glorious ruin it would be."
"There is no realm so vast that it could keep me from you."
"One glance, and all thoughts of duty flee. I live only for your love."
"What use is a crown when the heart is so divided?"
"I see the banners of our Houses in battle, yet I dream only of your embrace."
"Speak plainly, my lord. Do you wish for an alliance or something far more dangerous?"
"I will not ask for your heart, but know mine is already yours."
"The court dances around us, but you are the only step I wish to take."
"Your hand is promised to him, yet your heart beats for me. I feel it."
"Our families may be at war, but I long to lay down my sword at your feet."
"One touch from you, and the world could burn. I would care not."
"This is not the place to speak of love, yet I find no other words come to mind."
"Do not ask me to be content with only your friendship when I desire so much more."
"Your marriage may be arranged, but love is something we can still claim for ourselves."
"I have fought wars, but the greatest battle is hiding my affection for you."
"Would you forsake your titles if it meant you could have me?"
"My lady, one kiss, and I would renounce all crowns and titles for you."
"We are betrothed to others, yet my heart chooses you every time."
"I long for a life with you, but I fear the cost would be too great."
"The court will gossip, but they cannot understand what we share."
"One secret look from you, and I will forget all loyalties."
"They see us as pawns, but my feelings for you are real."
"A night with you would be worth all the betrayals of the realm."
"Marry him if you must, but know I will always wait for you."
"Our union would tear the realm apart, yet I cannot let you go."
"The gods have willed our paths to cross, but only we can choose what comes next."
“Our houses are enemies, my lord, yet here you stand, offering your hand.”
“You know well that a marriage between us would seal more than a treaty.”
“I should not want you, but how can I resist when the stars seem to conspire for us?”
“Duty and love seldom walk the same path, but perhaps we can change that.”
“Your gaze lingers longer than is proper, but I cannot say I wish it otherwise.”
“If my heart belonged to my house, I might deny you… but it belongs to you.”
“What can I offer a prince who already possesses a kingdom? Surely not my heart alone.”
“We have danced around this long enough. Say it—do you love me or not?”
“This court is filled with lies and shadows, yet you… you are the one truth I cling to.”
“If we are caught, my lady, it will not just be scandal—it will be war.”
“The crown sits heavy on your brow, but when you smile at me, you wear no weight at all.”
“It is dangerous to love you, but a life without danger is no life at all.”
“We speak in whispers, but my heart shouts for you.”
“You have kingdoms to conquer, and I have a heart to guard—yet both will fall if we stand together.”
“Even if the world burns for our love, I will never regret a moment of it.”
“What would your father think, seeing his son court the daughter of his enemy?”
“I should leave before we are discovered, but you have a way of making me forget caution.”
“Marrying you would be the end of my family, but losing you would be the end of me.”
“Does the crown prince bow to no one? Because I have seen you bend at my feet.”
“If your heart is as cold as the steel you wield, then why do you seek my warmth?”
“They say dragons and wolves cannot share a den, yet here we are.”
“My marriage was arranged, but my love… that is my own choice.”
“You think we could be happy in the shadows? I would bring you into the light.”
“They’ll say you’ve bewitched me, but I know it is I who sought your spell.”
“We cannot be together—too many eyes watch us, too many mouths would speak.”
“I cannot marry you, but I will not marry another.”
“This ring… I stole it from my father’s treasury, but it belongs to you now.”
“Our love is a secret, but it is the most real thing in this cursed court.”
“Every time you walk past me without a word, my heart breaks a little more.”
“Do you think this cloak hides us from the world? No—only our hearts can.”
“The king may order my marriage, but he cannot order my love.”
“I have sworn fealty to the crown, but to you… I give my heart.”
“If this court knew the truth of us, they would tear us apart.”
“You stand too close, my lord. But do not think for a moment that I will step away.”
“Would you still love me if I had no title? If I were no one at all?”
“The political alliance may be settled, but what of the alliance between us?”
“We are but pawns in their game, yet I find I am drawn to you all the same.”
“A kiss in the dark—was it a promise or a farewell?”
“I love you, but I will not be your queen if I cannot be your equal.”
“If your father knew what passed between us, his sword would be the least of our worries.”
“A crown is not what I seek from you; I want only your heart.”
“They think I love you for power, but the truth is far simpler—I love you because you are you.”
“We have danced at a dozen balls, but I crave only the dance we share in secret.”
“Even if the kingdom falls, my love for you will stand eternal.”
“You say I must marry for duty. But I wish to marry for love.”
“Every look from you feels like a stolen kiss in a room full of spies.”
“They would call us traitors for this, but love knows no loyalty to crowns.”
“When you speak of the future, do you see me beside you, or is my place already taken?”
“Let the court gossip, let them plot—I care not. I care only for you.”
“You think I courted you for your title? No, I courted you because you are the only one who truly sees me.”
“This sword may defend my honor, but it is your love that defends my soul.”
“I should not love you, but when have I ever obeyed the rules of court?”
“Your kiss may be forbidden, but I would rather have it than any crown.”
“If this is the last time we meet, let it be with love on our lips, not sorrow.”
“You think I belong to the throne? I belong to you.”
“There will be no heirs without love, and there will be no love without you.”
“I do not seek a king—I seek a partner, a love that burns through the ages.”
“In another life, perhaps I could have courted you openly, without fear.”
“We may be enemies, but my heart knows no such war.”
“Even if I lose everything, I will never lose my love for you.”

These photos especially hurt me.
The face he makes when he’s told he isn’t needed anymore. Something he’s known for a long time. He KNOWS he shouldn’t be alive, and that he’s only a burden to everyone now; especially Deku.
The face of heartbreak. Of understanding Deku’s position. He understands more than anyone possibly could. He held the world up by himself for over 40 years. I know how you feel. I know it feels to want to protect everyone, especially those closest to you. And the only way to do so is to leave them behind. Distance and Isolate yourself completely so you can’t get too attached to anyone. Because if you do, and the villains find out, it would feel impossible to live on knowing it was your fault they died. Because you endangered them by just being around them. Loving them. It’s only now, that I’ve allowed myself to live, that I can see how wrong I was to believe that. You shouldn’t have to suffer the same way I did. I can’t let you!
When he falls to the ground, he first lands on his torso. Which feels significant given the mortal wound there, as well how the normal pain in his side has moved to his chest. And even though the pain of having a misshapen, broken body can be extremely debilitating, the pain he now feels is absolutely unbearable.
The bento box. Sure it’s wasted food. But the fact that kills me is how lovingly he made it himself for his boy. Imagine him in their makeshift shelter, which may just be an abandoned building or apartment, carefully using the best ingredients he could find, to make a meal and feed his overworked son. The son he’s more than just a little worried about. It’s all he can think about.
But he busies himself preparing the rice, keeping an eye on the meat to be thoroughly cooked but not burnt, and then cutting it into small strips so his boy can easily grab it with his chopsticks while on the move without having to worry about cutting it himself. Protein. That’s what Deku needs most. And vegetables to keep his strength up. Everything is prepared as perfectly as possible in the short amount of time he has between following Deku to every villain attack.
He already knows the boy isn’t eating on his own. He did the same when he was a hero. Sometimes going for days without a proper meal in order to Protect. Toshi didn’t have anyone to help him with this, save for the few years Nighteye was with him. And that’s why he knows exactly what Deku needs.
After meticulously putting together the food in the bento box, he wraps it his signature bunny cloth…only to have Deku reject not only the meal, but HIM as well. Watching the boy walk away from him raises a memory of himself doing the same to Nighteye in the hospital. He now knows how Nighteye felt when he turned his back on him. Nighteye had left, unable to watch him slowly kill himself.
But Toshi can’t leave. Deku is all. He. Has. The only reason he’s still alive.
And yet, the food he prepared for his boy, the love he put into it to nourish him, ends up spilt. Splattered in the mud. Ruined. Rejected. Wasted…The food too.
And this final scene. Seeing this was so painful in the manga. I imaged he was crying, or trying not to. And my heart ached just thinking about it. But finally being able to hear it, to hear that yes, he is in fact crying, audibly, for the first time without holding himself back…that’s what finally shattered me.

The Science behind Erasure
-it's actually ingenious!!
SO recently I wondered....if Aizawa does hero work after hours...does that mean he also has increased night vision?? Because it wouldn't makes sense for a hero who relies on his eyes to work at a time when he can't see....right?
(this led me on a scientific deep dive because I am a huge nerd.)
As we know, Aizawa's eyes light up (red) when he activates his quirk. It just so happens, red doesn't glare like other colors of light do. This means red light makes night vision easier. Why? Because your pupils don't need to re-adjust between the light source & the dark around you! This reduces eye strain & keeps your field of vision clear & consistent at night, while still illuminating your path!
Simultaneously, red light is difficult to see at a distance so it'll help keep your position safe from possible attackers. This is why military flash lights are usually red!
So YES!... Aizawa's quirk can improve his night vision... By acting like a red flashlight! But that's not all!
Then I started thinking of HOW his quirk works...He stares at someone, his eyes glow red, his hair floats...and somehow the enemy's power stops working??
As we know, Erasure deactivates the enemy's quirk gene. This happens when Aizawa glares at them. But HOW can he deactivate a gene by only seeing the outside of the body? Especially since Erasure doesn't erase physical mutations??
Turns out, red light has a longer wave length than other colors, allowing it to penetrate the body more easily! In fact red & Infrared light (invisible to humans) is often used in medical imaging to detect things like veins and blood vessels beneath the skin.
Simply put Aizawa's quirk penetrates the body kind of like an x-ray. The reason we can see his eyes light up, and NOT the target being illuminated( like the picture on the left below)?? It's because he likely also emits red light that crosses over into infrared spectrum. So the red light that actually enters the body is invisible to the naked eye.
However real x-rays fall on the opposite side of the light spectrum under Ultra violet light. They not only enter but pass through their target, So to be clear Aizawa probably does not have x-ray vision. You may have also heard of Infrared in terms of night vision goggles. Aizawa likely does not have thermal/night vision either. His eyes only EMIT visible red light which allows him to see better in the dark & Infrared which enters the body.
So while Aizawa's glowing red eyes may at first seem like a meaningless, but cool, feature of his quirk, it's really the tell into how erasure works!
However, glowing red eyes only tell us how aizawa's quirk REACHES the gene, not how he switches it off! So how does he do it?? With an electromagnetic field! The light spectrum is a small part of the larger electromagnetic spectrum & the only part of it visible to the human eye!
So, how do y'all know I'm not just making this up?
Because his hair floats!
What's the most familiar electromagnetic force humans encounter on a daily basis?--- STATIC ELECTRICITY! When aizawa switches on his quirk he essentially becomes a cat being rubbed with a balloon! The carbon nanofibers in his capture weapon conduct static electricity so that floats too!
Aizawa's Erasure works by emitting an electromagnetic field, which like the infrared light, penetrates the body of his target! Now that we know how his quirk reaches the inside of the body, the question is how does it disrupt the quirk function?
As it turns out, electricity can be fired at DNA to switch Genes on and off in real life! So Erasure specifically targets the quirk gene and immobilizes it temporarily with electricity!!!! That's crazy!!!
Since we know Aizawa can't erase the quirks of heteromorphic types it's safe to assume it's because physical mutations effect more than one gene & Erasure specifically targets a single quirk gene.
If Erasure got into the hands of AFO it could easily mean the end of the world, or any one who apposes AFO for that matter. Sure AFO could use Erasure as Aizawa does, but he could also scientifically manipulate it to target genes OTHER than the quirk gene. Meaning he could kill you, or even make your body fall apart, with just a look.
Congrats you made to the end! You now have a PHD is Shota Aizawa.

Amajiki is the character I have the most in common so he is very special to me, but I love Mirio and Nejire very much too. This 3 are very dear to me so idk how to react if they d word

I think it says a lot about me that my BIGGEST complaint with MHA’s writing is that The Big 3 are not in the same class.
That’s it. That’s my biggest nitpick.
Oh sure, I think it would have been interesting if Nighteye had survived, and there was a character arc where he tries to make it up to Midoriya while also struggling with and losing faith in his Quirk - since Foresight was wrong about the future even though he’s happy to have been wrong. And on top of that, there’d be the very real possibility that even though he lived through the raid, he may be confined to office work at his agency for the rest of his days…
But yeah, Mirio being banished to 3-B while his best pals are in 3-A is the thing that I always actively ignore if not violently chuck out the metaphorical window when it comes to what I want to believe is canon or not.
And it’s such a small detail too, so I really don’t know why it bothers me so much!

One’s Justice 2 is great and here’s why:
- Jiro being fascinated by and not-so discreetly admiring Dabi’s fashion sense
- Tamaki pondering if he could gain all of Tsuyu’s abilities if he ate a frog, and then freaking out about it. Not because the thought of eating a frog disgusts him, but because it upsets him emotionally. “Friends don’t eat friends, and frogs are friends!”
- Fatgum giving Todoroki candy and the latter shyly accepting.
- Shigaraki being utterly terrified of Mirio once he discovers what his quirk is. “Permeation?! That’s cheating! Come on, Kurogiri! We’re leaving!”
- Jiro defending Kaminari’s honor when Bakugou starts bullying him.
- Camie asking Uraraka which boy at U.A. she’s after, Todoroki or Bakugou, and Uraraka getting upset that they’re her only two options.
- Nighteye telling Tamaki that Mirio has a wonderful friend.
- Hawks calling Izuku ‘that finger-breaking kid’ and saying that he’s heard a lot about him from Tokoyami. Then he thanks Izuku for saving Tokoyami back during the Forest Raid.
- Kirishima admiring how strong Uraraka is, and how graceful her fighting style is.
- Todoroki calling himself ugly because of his scar, and Mineta of all characters loudly disagreeing with him.
- Mirio bestowing Bakugou with the title, ‘Problem Child No. 2′ and Bakugou yelling at him not to lump him in with that nerd Deku.
- Camie wanting to take a selfie with Hawks and him happily agreeing to it.
- Even with his Foresight, Nighteye claims that Toga’s thoughts and movements are almost impossible to predict.
- The confirmation from Tamaki that the seeing-people-as-potatoes thing to help with his anxiety was all Mirio’s idea.
- Dabi taking a bizarre liking to Tamaki, and Tamaki not liking it.
- Mr. Compress remarking how he once ruled the underworld empire. What does this mean??
- Mirio offering Toga, genuinely and with total sincerity, a chance at redemption. Toga also flirts with him in this same conversation. “You’re cute, but you’d be so much cuter if you’d bleed.” “You don’t bleed? That’s not cute…”
- Tamaki wondering why Kirishima is friends with Bakugou, and then wanting to learn how to be more assertive from him, but Bakugou keeps trying to make Tamaki go away.
There’s so much unique dialogue.

A Fire Rainbow over West Virginia : What’s happening to this cloud? Ice crystals in a distant cirrus cloud are acting like little floating prisms. Known informally as a fire rainbow for its flame-like appearance, a circumhorizon arc appears parallel to the horizon. For a circumhorizontal arc to be visible, the Sun must be at least 58 degrees high in a sky where cirrus clouds present below – in this case cirrus fibrates. The numerous, flat, hexagonal ice-crystals that compose the cirrus cloud must be aligned horizontally to properly refract sunlight in a collectively similar manner. Therefore, circumhorizontal arcs are somewhat unusual to see. The featured fire rainbow was photographed earlier this month near North Fork Mountain in West Virginia, USA. via NASA
