Final Pitching Experience
Our final pitching experience was a rollercoaster of emotions. We were scared and incredibly nervous because our bagasse product was challenging to make, and we hadn't had enough time to prepare. Some of our team members attended an international conference, leaving the rest of us scrambling to get everything ready. Despite our worries, we managed to pull it off, thanks to the support of each other and the guidance of our instructors throughout the entire process.
Lecture Series
The recently concluded Entrepreneurial Mind Lecture Series Program 2024 was enlightening. It covered essential points and laid the foundation for our understanding of the course. One key takeaway was the significance of the startup ecosystem and the startup method in driving innovation. The lectures also emphasized the importance of ethical considerations, such as adhering to legal principles, understanding data privacy acts, and ensuring the security of all involved parties in the innovation process. As we bid farewell to this course, we carry with us valuable insights that will undoubtedly benefit us in our future entrepreneurial endeavors. Thank you to everyone involved in organizing and delivering these informative sessions.

Pitching Day! ₊˚ʚ₊˚✧
On February 14, 2024, amidst the romantic fervor of Valentine's Day, an innovative startup embarked on its maiden pitching journey, introducing TU-Bag, a revolutionary product crafted from excess sugar cane fiber. Nestled in the heart of Bukidnon, where sugar cane reigns supreme, the entrepreneurial spirit ignited as a group of visionaries saw an opportunity to transform agricultural remnants into sustainable packaging solutions. Despite the bustling ambiance of the Feb Fest event, the team seized the moment to present their brainchild to the world. Amidst the whirlwind of excitement, the spotlight unexpectedly fell upon two unsuspecting members, Ragen and myself, chosen on the fly to represent the collective ingenuity of our group. With nerves tingling and adrenaline pumping, we embarked on our impromptu presentation, fueled by the unwavering support of our comrades, showcasing not just a product, but a testament to the power of collaborative innovation.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the day, our impromptu pitch unfolded, weaving together elements of passion, determination, and a touch of spontaneity. While our preparation might have been scant, our conviction to make a difference in the realm of sustainable packaging remained resolute. Despite the inevitable jitters, our voices rang out with sincerity, painting a vivid picture of TU-Bag's potential to revolutionize the industry. As the words flowed and ideas soared, it became evident that this moment was not just about pitching a product but embodying the spirit of resilience and adaptability. Through the collective effort of our team, we transformed a fleeting opportunity into a beacon of possibility, laying the groundwork for a future where innovation thrives amidst adversity. And so, on that memorable Valentine's Day, amidst the sweet aroma of sugar cane, TU-Bag took its first step towards reshaping the landscape of sustainable packaging, proving that even in the midst of chaos, brilliance can emerge.
Interview and Customers Validation ㅤ ೀ ㅤ۫ ㅤ۪ㅤ۫ ㅤ ♡ ㅤ
As I sit down to pen these words, it's been a quiet a while since our pivotal conversation with the Dean of College and Environmental Science on February 27, 2024. The memory of that day still lingers, etched in my mind like an indelible mark. Our journey to validate TU-Bag, our sustainable solution to combat the plastic crisis, led us to an unexpected yet profoundly insightful conversation.
Across the table from the Dean, amidst the ambient hum of his store, I couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness. Here was someone whose opinion held weight – a seasoned professional in both business and environmental science. As we delved into the topic, his response was both encouraging and thought-provoking. Despite not physically interacting with TU-Bag, he painted a picture of its potential, rating it a commendable 4 out of 5. His words echoed long after our conversation ended, emphasizing the importance of innovation in addressing environmental challenges.
Yet, his desire to see TU-Bag in person left a lasting impression. It served as a reminder of the importance of tangibility in validating our vision. As I reflect on our exchange, I'm filled with a renewed sense of purpose. The Dean's insights have fueled our determination to bring TU-Bag to life, one tangible step at a time.
Time to Work It! ᯓ★
Looking back, I'm struck by the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with starting something new. Pitching TU-Bag on Valentine's Day was exciting, showcasing our teamwork and determination. However, my conversation with the Dean on February 27th reminded me of the importance of tangible proof to win people over. These experiences taught me that progress is gradual, and each small step brings us closer to our goal of creating a more sustainable future.
To my group mates ₊˚⊹
A massive shoutout to my incredible groupmates who have been absolute rockstars throughout this wild journey! From brainstorming sessions that stretched into the early hours of the morning to hustling through last-minute adjustments before our pitches, these guys have shown unwavering dedication and support. We've faced more hurdles than we can count, but their resilience and camaraderie have been the glue holding us together. Despite the ups and downs, their unwavering belief in our vision has kept us charging forward with unstoppable determination. Here's to my amazing team, proving that with grit, teamwork, and a shared passion for change, we can conquer anything! ᡣ𐭩

"Stormy Skies and Trash Can Tales: The Hilarious Heroics of CMUan Students"
Life as a CMUan student is a rollercoaster ride through the storms of heavy rain, dodging puddles like Olympic hurdles while balancing textbooks and laptops like circus performers. Transportation becomes an adventure sport, with students mastering the art of catching buses amidst a chaotic dance of schedules and overcrowded stops. And let's not forget the battle against the ultimate foe: garbage waste. Trash cans overflow like never-ending fountains, testing our determination as we navigate through a sea of discarded coffee cups and crumpled papers, searching for a spot to drop our own waste without causing an environmental disaster.
But amidst these trials and tribulations, there's a hidden gem of inspiration. As I embarked on the noble quest of interviewing my fellow warriors of academia, I found myself facing an army of reluctant interviewees. Some were as elusive as unicorns, dodging my inquiries with ninja-like reflexes, while others, like rare Pokémon, were too shy to emerge from the safety of their academic cocoons. Yet, in the midst of this comedic struggle, I discovered a profound truth: the resilience of the human spirit. Despite their busy schedules and natural inclination towards avoiding interviews like the plague, many students opened up with tales of perseverance and humor, reminding me that even in the midst of chaos, there's always room for laughter and inspiration. So here's to the CMUan spirit – braving the storms, battling the garbage, and still finding reasons to smile amidst the madness.
