Boroughsburg has been updated with a wonderful curation of residential and community lots, and improvements have been made to nearly every aspects of the world!

But in addition to these improvements, a customized populated savegame has also been created—this is Boroughsburg’s Story Mode—and with more than 80 diverse sims (and many more townies), this savegame allows you to immediately jump right into Boroughsburg—right into the tangle and drama of these sims’ lives!

Boroughsburg is a mashup of DUMBO, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Long Island City, and Astoria- but is open enough that you can build whatever bit of New York City you want in it. 

Boroughsburg is a medium city world, with a total of 73 lots.

Nearly all lots are filled in, but some lots are left unbuilt at your discretion to fill in.

The world also contains two dive lots, three docks, a base camp, and a homeworld university! Perfect for travellers!

Lot assignment has been carefully selected to ensure that nearly all community lots are regularly populated.

Uninhabited base world, but includes an inhabited & customized savegame. I highly recommend playing in the savegame first.

Should run relatively smoothly on mid-high-tier computers. Created on Windows 7 | Processor Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz | Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 | RAM 32 GB

Built on Patch level 1.67.

I’ve just been having so much fun building in the amazing world of Suvadiva Resort by the talented @nilxis. Originally, my plan was to keep the all-inclusive hotel vibe of the island; upgrading the lots to add more functionality being that the world is base game only, and using it for a vacation world as is it’s intended purpose, but this world runs soooo amazingly on my pc, and gave me so much inspiration, I ended up moving in a sim and making it my main hood. 

With all my cc and running Nraas’s suite of mods (esp. story progression) and Oniki Kay’s KW at the same time, my computer doesn’t even blink. Not to mention routing is a dream. Kudos to @nilxis. You really knocked this one out of the park. That being said, I went a little overboard and ended up renovating every single community lot (to add more amenities and entertainment), as well as filling in the 3 empty ones.

Suvadiva Central Mall is the larger of the 2 hotels, which I converted into a mall/ town centre to accommodate City Hall, the police station, and the business and journalism offices. Complete with shopping, dining and a movie theater.

Meroze Centre

I initially started this lot with the intention of building a park and somehow ended up with this lol. 

Meroze’s main entertainment and shopping centre. I moved the Park to the roof and added a live show stage. The lot also functions as the business and journalism offices with the help of rabbithole rugs located inside the bank area, a movie theater and a clothing store (all of which are functional with the help of nraas and ani’s mods).

Meroze Military and Science facility 

I usually don’t do a lot of builds from scratch in The Sims. I tend to gear more towards refurbishing lots. However, I have been having been having sooo much fun building in the beautiful world of Meroze by @risastorm.

 I’m obsessed with the Perigee from Lunar Lakes and thought it would make the perfect Sci-Fi Military base. However, being that it is technically a science lab rabbit hole, I decided to combine both lots using Jynx’s Military Rabbithole Rug.
