Hart gulped as he approached the Witch Princess with a guitar. He was going to serenade her for his dare. He began strumming a few chords before singing with a melodic voice. "You're attractive you little witch, you're beautiful. Your wickedness, you little witch, it broke my heart. Empty words, you little witch, you cast a spell. Mass destroyer, you little witch, you're beautiful. You've got me bewitched 'cause I'm under your spell, oh... You must be a witch 'cause I am living in hell, oh..."
The blonde raised an eyebrow as he began singing. She had never been.. sung to before. She blushed a bit, listening to him sing.
"W-what even is that," she stammered, crossing her arms and looking away. Her eyes darted back to him and she reached out to pinch his arm. That would teach him, singing to her like that. Humans and their weird... endearing... stupid ideas. "You can't just sing to people like that," she huffed.

"You should come by tomorrow," she said suddenly, grinning and ignoring his comments. Of course she knew where he lived, Da-Chan told her everything. "And you can test out a potion for me. I haven't had a willing test subject in a while." It had been about.. oh... 100 years or so. Give or take. She didn't know why everyone was so reluctant to help her out, they should feel honored! She was the Witch Princess after all!
"Afternoon or night will be perfect for me," she continued. She wasn't about to leave her house, he'd have to come visit her. "But definitely not before noon." Her looked turned serious, purple eyes narrowing. "If you wake me up before noon I will curse you."
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
Maybe it was just him, but he could have sworn he saw a tiny small tint of pink on her cheeks. It was kinda hard to tell, since it was dark. The young-looking boy shrugged off that one-sided thought when he heard the Witch Princess’s remark that kinda took him off guard.
"Uh… I guess?" Hart replied nervously, not wanting know in where she’s getting at. “I mean, you can always come to me for help if you do need it…" The Echo Farmer scratched his head. “I guess you probably already know where I live since Da-Chan is there…" the brunette said. “But I’m usually busy in the morning, so noon to night would be the best to let me know."

She watched him steadily as he dabbed away her blood, applied the ointment and then bandaged it. It was strange, having someone worry about her. No one worried about her. She was used to people running her out of town, not offering to care for her wounds. She looked away, feeling self conscious. When he finished, she jerked her bandaged hand back, placing it on her hip.
"Well, I suppose that was the highlight of your life; touching the hand of a powerful witch such as myself." She huffed a bit, but there was a slight blush on her cheeks. "I'm sure you'd just love to help me out more, hm?" She smirked mischievously.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
Hearing her say that she’ll turn into a frog if he made a mistake didn’t make it easier for the poor farmer. He just gave a nervous chuckle from her response. “R-right…" Hart replied, beginning to make his move in fixing her wound. The brunette gently took her hand as he pulled out a handkerchief to gently tap it and remove the blood. Then, he began to place a little bit of ointment on the wound. After that, the male farmer opened the bandage and placed it on her wound.
"And that’s it," he told her, giving a sheepish smile. “The healing process is a little slow, so you might have to wait for a few days… maybe a day or two."

She scoffed. "It was just some thorn." She turned aside, scowling slightly. She wordlessly held our her hand though. She didn't feel like admitting she didn't have healing magic.
"If you make it worse I'll turn you into a frog." Her narrowed eyes slid to his.
She eyed the objects in his hand. How would he help her with those? She didn't know how mortals survived without magic. They must lead such dull lives.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
Hart silently gasped as he saw the trail of blood on her hand. The cut was bad enough, but a trail of blood was much worse. It was something to definitely worry about!
The Echo Farmer tensed a little from her question in healing. “W-well, there’s ointment and some bandages…" he replied sheepishly. “It’s not magical healing, but it’s healing with traditional care." The young-looking boy took out a small paste of ointment and a small bandage. In his experience, his farm work would rarely leave his hands a little injured from pulling out big crops that were stuck in vines. Sometimes, he would bring ointment and a few bandages just in case if he accidentally got a cut again during his farm work. It was a good thing today was the day he brought them with him.
"A small cut like that can be easily healed with those…" Hart looked down on the ointment and bandage, feeling a little anxious about her reaction in his offer. “I can treat it properly, if you give me the chance…" the brunette said, slowly approaching her before stopping. He did want to get the Witch Princess’s approval, after all. “I’m pretty sure you don’t want it infected or maybe have a small scar forever," the Echo Farmer reminded her. The brunette wasn’t a doctor like Klaus, but he was confident in healing her cut on her hand. Hart had a determined expression.

The witch was a little disgruntled at herself for letting him see, and so directed it at Hart.
"It's nothing," she said, spinning back around and crossing her arms. "Just some cut." She huffed and waved her cut hand; a trail of blood running down her hand. "And it's certainly nothing to worry about. What kind of healing abilities does a farmer have anyway?" She gave him a cool gaze, daring him to respond.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
"Oh, uh… bye," he said, a little surprised from her sudden leave The Echo Farmer almost forgot that she had to collect the ingredients she needed herself. He didn’t want to disturb and waste the time she needed to find those ingredients. Hart nodded as he waved back at the Witch Princess, seeing her off. Well, at least now he knows what to collect and find in the future. Cooking as well. The young-looking brunette was very grateful that she didn’t cast a spell on him.
"Hm…?"
Hart looked up again quickly, narrowing his eyes at her hand. It had a cut on it. The Echo Farmer was in a dilemma if he wanted to help her or not. After a moment, he called out to her once again. “Uh… Witch Princess…?" he called out to her. “I couldn’t help but see the cut on your hand and… maybe I can heal it with the best of my abilities?"

The Witch Princess smiled. This human obviously knew who he was dealing with, unlike that brat she had met in Triest Forest. And the way he looked so nervous, it was funny. "Good," she stated, nodding. She was always happy to receive food, especially if it involved grapes.
"Well, those ingredients wont collect themselves." She started to walk away, giving a short wave.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
Hart wasn’t sure how to react at “Da-Chan’s" preference. Sacrificed lamb…? Did he have to laugh at the joke…? Should he stay silent…? One thing’s for sure: he wouldn’t dare get angry and yell at the blond witch. One wrong move and the Witch Princess could change her mind instantly and turn him into Harvest Goddess knows what. As soon as the Echo Farmer heard her say that the cookies were delicious and the advice of grapes, the young brunette mentally sighed in relief.
"S-sure…" he replied with a nervous smile. “I can find another recipe that involves grapes." The young-looking farmer pondered a little, thinking of the recipes that involved the mentioned fruit. “So far, I only have grape juice and grape ice cream…" Hart told her. “I’ll try to find more recipes that have grapes in them…"
#silent dusk#the only thing i can think of to keep it going is if you mention the cut on her hand :o#otherwise she'll just leave

"I've given you several chances to redeem yourself human and show some humility, and you throw each chance in my face. I've had enough of you." She stalks over to him, the ground seemingly quaking with each step, and she holds his arms back with magic. She places a finger on his throat and slowly slides it up his neck until it slides off his chin, chanting under her breath as she does so, eyes sparking with magic. She pulls her finger back sharply. His voice is now gone.
"Now lets see how well you talk back to your betters," she sneers. She's done this once, to a woman whose village tried to run her out. That was a very long time ago, though, and in a place far from here. Thinking it fitting, she decides to send him there. She places her hand over his head and starts to chant again, the word guttural and unrecognizable. You can hear them, but they're fleeting and you can't seem to hold on to one word for very long. Barrett's body starts to fade away before it completely disappears with a pop, leaving a hole where he once was trapped.
She takes a deep breath and fluffs out her hair, smirking in satisfaction. That should teach that human a lesson. How dare he question her, the beautiful and amazing Witch Princess. He obviously refused to recognize the power he dealt with.
In The Forest || Barret & WP
Barrett growled as the dagger disapated from his hand. He didn’t have much left in his belt, but not only did this bitch stick him in the ground she left him no ways to protect himself. “Did you decide the pale in comparison or did someone else?" He no longer wished to speak to her, he didn’t want to in the first place but she stuck him in the ground, “Where is your humility in this situation?"

"Oh, I've heard." She smirked. "Da-chan let me know how nice you were to him. It's not every day that that happens. Though he wanted me to tell you that he prefers sacrificed lamb over cookies." The words came out so seriously that it would be hard to tell if she was joking or not. She laughed, only adding to the mystery.
"But you're not bad at making cookies. They were quite delicious." Her hand came up to stroke her chin, forgetting that she had a cut on it."Though they could've used some grapes." She grinned, resting her hands on her hips.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
"W-well… I already finished my farm work for the day," he explained with a sheepish smile and nervous smile. “Since I had a little bit of time left, I thought it would be a good idea to forage." Hart was a little relieved that he wasn’t instantly turned into something… for now. Of course, he didn’t want leave her presence and regret it in the most sadistic and terrifying way she could give him. “Besides, I’m kinda running out of a few certain ingredients," the Echo Farmer said.
"… Oh yeah, and I’ve been taking care of the teddy bear in my home," the brunette added. He was blushing a little from that recent explanation. It’s not very common to see a young adult take care of the stuffed animal like a little innocent child. “It seems to be enjoying its new home… somewhat…" The Echo Farmer just gave a nervous chuckle. If anyone else else knew about his mysterious experiences with a teddy bear… he would die in embarrassment.

Before doing anything, the Witch Princess mentally decided to play nice for the time being. He did, after all, build her house. He had shown some respect. And he had been nice to her Da-Chan.
She nodded at his question. "Night time is the best time for gathering ingredients and this mountain side is full of them." She hid her cut hand, not wanting to show any sign of weakness in front of a human.
"And what are you doing out here? Don't you have a farm to attend to?" She smirked and placed her other hand on her hip. He really was quite the busy body.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
With the sound of a mysterious yet feminine voice, Hart was able to see the familiar blond girl he encountered the other day. In fact, she was the one who gave him the teddy bear that currently resided in his home. Of course, it wasn’t much of a surprise when he somewhat expected the teddy bear started to act weird recently. Its recent actions, however, took him off guard. He would probably have to sleep with one eye open tonight… if that was possible.
"Witch… Princess…" the Echo Farmer said slowly, hoping he got the name right. What could she be doing here- oh, that’s right. Night was almost here. It was probably the best time for her to wander around. The brunette had to admit, though… she was indeed mysterious. Her appearance, let alone her outfit, was enough to let him know that.
"By any chance… are you foraging too…?" Hart asked hesitantly. As much as curious the brunette was, he did not want to take a chance in becoming a frog or whatever she had in mind.

It was rare for the Witch Princess to venture outside of her home, but even she needed to collect ingredients for her potions. Luckily, Echo village was ripe with such items. Of course, that infuriating Harvest Goddess was here as well, but she seemed to be every where. Humans had taken to worshiping her, offering her strawberries and flowers. It was disgusting, really.
She shook her head, her long blonde hair flaring around her. There was no use in filling her head with these thoughts. She had more important things to do. She was testing a new potion and needed ample ingredients to make several batches.
She stalked through the grass, crouching low to pull out mushrooms and colored grasses, tucking them away in her bag. She nicked her hand on a thorn, cursing herself and then blasting the thorn with a bit of magic. She possessed no healing abilities, though, and would have to leave the cut. She sighed, irritated and looked up at the sky. It was beginning to get dark now, which was the best time, in her opinion, to collect ingredients because no nosy townspeople were about.
"Hello...?"
Well, almost no nosy townspeople. She looked up, easily able to spot the Echo Farmer though he could probably not see her very well.
She moved from the shadows, her cape trailing behind her as she regarded with him a cool gaze. "Hello," she replied.
Silent Dusk || Hart & WP
Today was one of those days when the Echo Farmer would begin foraging items. The male brunette made sure that he would keep a good schedule on his daily activities, which included mining, fishing, or maybe even traveling for the day. However, the brunette farmer had a few less items than he expected. It wasn’t everyday that he needed them that much, but Hart needed certain ingredients like apricot or herbs. However, the Echo Farmer knew that random ingredients would pop up differently everyday. He wasn’t sure what to expect.
A few hours passed, and Hart already collected a few ingredients that were temporarily needed for this week. When the hardworking boy looked up at the sky, he noticed it was already getting dark. The twilight horizon was already disappearing as a few stars began to appear. It was even more evident when fireflies began to glow small spheres of luminous light. It wouldn’t be long before night comes…
The Echo Farmer was on his way back when he suddenly heard a small noise near him. The rustle of a grass and the snap of a twig made him turn around in surprise. It was a little dark, but he could make out the shadowy figure that stood near him. Hart was pretty sure that the residents of Echo Village were in town by this time…
"Hello…?" he called out with a little bit of confusion and hesitance.

"Because they all pale in comparison to my power," she explained, magic crackling through her hair. Her eyes darted to his dagger and she became angry once more. How many weapons did this mortal have? She gestured to it, her palm facing out, and banished the blade to another dimension. She didn't need him getting uppity again.
"Now learn some humility or you'll be following your dagger." She stomped her foot and the earth engulfed him a bit more. She might just leave him here, honestly. What did she care?
In The Forest || Barret & WP
"What makes you a princess? There are witches all over the place what makes you so special?" Barrett had let the words spill out before thinking, it was one of those moments when he just wanted to know something, and didn’t really care for what might happen. Barrett gritted is teeth to keep from saying anymore and tried to wiggle his legs, he looked up to she her eyes flash red and quickly pulled out his dagger, ready to throw if needed.

"What I want," she started, placing her hands on her hips. "Is some humility to be learned. I am the all-powerful Witch Princess and you should be awed to even stand in my presence. I've lived for longer than your tiny human mind can comprehend and I'll still be here when your ash in the ground." Which would be very soon if he didn't play his cards right. Her eyes sparked with magic, briefly turning red from it.
In The Forest || Barret & WP
Suddenly Barrett was a lot shorter, he glanced at the ground that was now up to his knees, and tried to push himself up out of it, but to no avail. He changed his vision to the girl who talked about herself like a god, so what if she knew a few spells, he reached for another dagger but didn’t draw it out, he gritted his teeth at her, “What do you want." He said slowly ready to throw is she made anymore sudden spells. He laughed internally at the learn some manners part, because putting someone in the ground was so lady like.

She froze on the spot, her eye twitching. This mortal needed to be taught a lesson.
She flicked her wrist up, causing the ground to encase his legs up to his knees. The earth was sturdy and unable to be moved, effectively locking him into place. "You humans need to learn some manners," she hissed through her teeth.
In The Forest || Barret & WP
Barrett glared down at the girl, he didn’t need anyone pulling anything on him right now he just wan’t in any type of mood, he barely noted the sparks, magic was normal around here, even taught in school. His eye narrowed more when she melted his sword, it wasn’t exactly easy to make. She then shoved him, and sent him flying into the river. If Barrett was mad before it was nothing compared to now when she looked down laughing at him. He reached down into his belt, pulling out a dagger despite the raging river and threw it at her, nicking her ear it cut off one of her curls and pined it to a tree behind her. He stood up in the river and made his way to shore, once out and standing, he growled at her again. “I have no need for your foolish pride, so let me say it again, Go away."

Normally Witch Princess did not venture this far out for ingredients, but Triest Forest was known to produce the ingredients she needed to stock up on in abundance. She carefully moved through the forest, felling any monsters with a quick strike of her magic, before she came across a man crouched at the water's edge. She moved closer, naturally curious, when he spun around and knocked her off her feet.
The Witch Princess was rarely taken off guard or found herself on the ground. Her purple eyes narrowed, her body sparking with magic. How dare this human treat her this way. She reached out a hand and grabbed his sword, melting the blade with her magic. "How dare you," she started, standing up and pushing him backwards as she did so. "treat me so, human." She released his blade and flung him into the stream with a gust of magic. She huffed and flung her blonde curls aside, then let out a biting laugh, finding him amusing now.
In The Forest || Barret & WP
Barrett grumbled leaving the house, his father had caught him at the door and started ranting about Barrett’s life choices when he tried to slip out the door. Why don’t you have any friends, you need to put yourself out there more, try to meet people, you can’t be alone for ever! Byron always continued like that, There was nothing wrong with being alone, In fact Barrett thought of it a lot better, then faking to get people to like you, vote for you, or whatever stupid things his father did. Barrett liked being alone it was peaceful and no one was there rub idioticy and nonsense on him.
Gripping the hilt of his blade, Barrett made his way through the town, and into the forest, once he made sure that the dungeon was rid of monsters, he crouched down at the river’s edge, watching to see how the fishing was here. Out of his urge to be rid of his father, Barrett had forgotten his fishing rod, another reason to grumble. Barrett watched as a fish swam by he was wondering if he could catch it with the end of his sword. Barrett drew out his sword and watched as the water grew dark around the fish, a frown appeared on his face as he spun around knocking the legs out from under the creature behind him, he stood up and held the blade above their neck. “Go away." He growled.

In the middle of the night, the bear begins to move. It's slow at first, like it hasn't moved in ages, or it wants to trick your eyes into thinking it's still.
It's obviously not, though, and it moves up to Anissa, sitting in front of her. If she woke up, she'd see the bear staring directly at her.
The bear stares back at you. Were you expecting an answer?

Without any explanation, you have found a regular looking teddy bear sitting in your room. It seems harmless enough, even kinda cute. How did it get there though?
Anissa was left blinking and confused after her strange encounter with the blonde woman. She went back to her room to lie down and clear her head. Upon arrival, she found a teddy bear sitting on her bed. She didn’t recognize it and it wasn’t close to any festivals or her birthday. She picked it up and looked it over. It was kind of cute. “How’d you get here little guy?"

When you enter your house, you find a stuffed bear sitting on the table. It's fur is a fiery red and it's beady black eyes are fixed on you. If you touch it in any way, the object is sure to start burning or even catch on fire. It simple sits there, unable to be moved.
"What..? Is this the gift?" Charles moves to pick up the bear, only to be greeted with a tremendous amount of heat. “Well, it’s only natural that she would appreciate my style but…"
He didn’t really like stuffed animals. And the fact that it might set his workplace on fire only intrigued him. Well, as they, say, science before blondes.
"… A saw…" Time to perform a biological study on strange stuffed animals. For science, of course.
_____
The red bear simply stays in place.
The table below him, though, starts to heat up. A warning, maybe?
