there ya have it! my next round of dice making misadventures! overall this is best i have done at dice making so far. they all turned out how i wanted and i'm starting to get better at my technique and patience! watching a truly horrifying amount of dice making and resin making tutorials may be rotting my brain but im making some fantastic dice. standouts are Untitled and Pinkest Pink and Chameleon Powder. All gorgeous sets with no real structural issues and i CANNOT WAIT to play with them!

the concept of the pinkest pink has fascinated me for the longest time and i think these are the highlight of the sets (maybe tied for first with untitled). i was always skeptical when people said they couldnt believe just how pink these were but omg they are 110% right. they literally throw light in the day time. they do not glow in the dark tho i feel like they should but thats not what the product is. i feel like i may have seen pink glow pigment in the culture hustle shop but will need to investigate further to make sure. if so i may have to get it bc the blue lit was already incredible. i literally cant stop looking at these dice my brain cant process how pink they are. i think i may have used clear resin on the lid because its clear towards the tops of some of the dice (the ones face). i dont think the pigment settling explains the clearness because its not uniform. further testing needed but ultimately im ecstatic over how these turned out! cant wait to ink them once i find a color and show my dnd groups!

the dump set! not too much to say about these other than it is what it is! i think the glow in the dark ones with a little micah powder that seeped into them are nifty. they are both parts of a d100 and dont seem like they'll need sanding. may ink w a matching color and use. the glow is from the blue lit powder from culture hustle.
the more purple than pink d20, 12, and 6 are okay! the 1 on the 20 is raised - i think these cheap molds are just like that? maybe if i put a book or weight on it i can fix that but i do think its just the mold being not great. love the color but this is one of the bubbliest sets.
my mom was making vday jewellery so the pink set is from that! the d6 i find really fun but some silicon from the mold stuck to it 😮‍💨 buy cheap molds and pay the price i guess. idk why it does that tho? degradation? flash curing that melts the silicon to it? either way i have to find a way to get the stuck silicon off of it before i ink it.

my first ever petri pour!!! result are varied but the 6 is great! i think my big mistake here was putting the lid on too early and a bunch of the alcohol ink squished out the sides. its supposed to have red and blue ink which is not apparent in the results 😅 tho all in all for a first experiment i count this as a success! d4 and d12 unfortunately ended up with large enough bubbles that those are out which sucks bc they had some of the best spores! everything else seems usable tho! im a little nervous about the ones faces tho because i think i maybe used too much alcohol ink for it to cure properly? tho with a bunch rushing out the sides maybe thatll save me. i do notice a difference in texture on those sides but we're just at 24 hours in so we'll have to wait and see at the 72 hour mark if they firm up any. probably will ink these in white?

green and blue dirty pour! my first honest attempt at this though i used mica powder and stuart semple/culture hustle powder. love the colors but wish there was more blue the d10s have REALLY raised faces on the min value so thats not great and the 1 on the 20 is also raised a bit. the 6 as always looks great and so does the 8. not a lot of bubbling. may sand may not. what color to paint? white like clouds?

next is Blue Lit! also a stuart semple pigment like the untitled. i was super happy with how these turned out! again, some bubbling on the low faces but nothing that would make these unusable (tho they may be a bit weighted 😅) i particularly am obsessed with the skull dump pour because its a freaking GLOWING SKULL! i wonder if i should paint the numbers some kind of blue? it wouldnt match in the daylight and in dark ud probably lose the color idk! undecided but very happy with these

Untitled! By the time i remembered to get pictures the sunlight was hard to find but the light blue really does transition into a dark almost purple in sunlight! plus LOOK AT THEM GLOW!!! they're so bright and i would never expect such a pretty green glow from such blue dice! there are some bubbles on the ones faces but other than that they're smooth glass like finishes! i dont think i'll polish them, just ink and go!
if you have ideas for what color to do the numbers in please let me know cuz i have 0 guesses rn!

demolding is done and they look INCREDIBLE!!!!
untitled lives up to its name and has three distinct colors depending on the light and it glows so brightly in the dark! what color do i paint the numbers? does it have to match all three colors?
blue lit also glows so brightly and a very pretty blue even though it doesnt look blue they look kinda whitish irl. i wonder if i mixed a tiny bit of blue alcohol ink in with it if i could keep the glow properties and get it more blue! i like blue things and glowing things 😂
the pinkest pink is NUTS! as bright as it is in the picture, i swear its even brighter irl. i have no idea what color to paint the numbers. pink and black feels classic but idk nothing feels dark enough to balance the pink.
i forgot about the green and blue til i was almost done with the day so i had some mica powder that i had already mixed and i added some of the culture hustle to it! i kinda tried a dirty pour technique which mostly worked but i wish it was more split between blue and green instead of mostly green. maybe i can balance it out by painting the numbers blue?
i did the technique where u brush chameleon powder inside the mold and fill it with black pigment and it looks SO GOOD. i went w a purple and green powder and it almost reminds me of carnival glass. again - no idea what to paint the numbers of a die that isnt always the same colors
the dirty pour went medium? i should have maybe waited to put the cap on bc a bunch of the alcohol ink squirted out the sides 😮‍💨 d6 looks soooo good tho. i'll post individual pics and close ups of sets and dice later.
the pink and black and a couple of the glow in the dark ones were dump pours! my mom was making resin with me and she was making valentines day jewellery and that's where a lot of the extra resin came from! we also made a pen with rly pretty purple/pink mica powder and that became a couple dice when we were done too!
dump pours also for a blue lit skull, green mica/greenest green skull, and black 1.0 skull which looks a little brown in sunlight 🤷🏻

id seen the technique of brushing chameleon powder into a mold and pouring black ink as the fill and wanted to try it! these are so much fun! they remind of bismuth or carnival glass. i dont think the picture do them justice with fun and metallic they look and the shift from a forest green to a grape purple. what the heck am i supposed to do for inking??? i didnt get the powder everryyyyywhere it was supposed to go so black is out. only defect on these is a somewhat large bubble on the one face of the d6 and that the 1 on the d20 is a little raised. im debating sanding the 1 on the d20 because it would remove the chameleon powder buttttttt it would be kinda cool for the ones face to be the only face not all shimmery and pretty cuz its a one 🤷🏻

i'm trying my hand at making resin dice! it's going medium!
there's so much i still have to learn and then i have to figure out how to implement it in my actual dice with my actual capabilities and tools.
i ordered some pigment from stuart semple's store and am rly excited to try to make my own pinkest pink and blackest black dice. i got some glow stuff too 🛸

background of my blog pic! i was rly happy with how the inking for these came out! all the greenish ones came from dump pours during my last round of experiments and they ended up looking rly cool! i thought they'd maybe glow in the dark but they do not. the glittery ones are chameleon powder. don't know why it spread out evenly on most of the dice but the d10s have a vein of it through them and clear everywhere else 🤷🏻 i was nervous about the purple (picked it to match some of the color shifting purple in it) but i'm rly happy w how they turned out!

my avatar rn! these are all the dice i've made/worked on that i feel are good enough to use at a real table. they're not all perfect but good enough! the only one i didn't pour myself is the glow in the dark d20 but i did sand/polish it myself. still debating if i want to ink it or not
