Idk, man. I feel like they could be like Morticia and Gomez Addams, but Harbingers. Two mentally deranged psychos come together to make a surprisingly healthy relationship that just. Works. They're not affectionate in public and keep a professional facade and you wouldn't know, unless you caught a glimpse of their matching pieces of jewelery or something. But behind closed doors, it's just. Domestic and surprisingly wholesome.

Dottore hates everything and everyone, but leaving his workshop after 12 hours and seeing Scaramouche stole one of his shirts is one of the few things he appreciates.

Scara doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut and enjoys arguing just to get a rise out of others, but he knows when it's best to just let Dottore rant and not interrupt.

Just... I don't think they're the type to be overly romantic and affectionate (maybe Dottore is but only because he likes being dramatic and eccentric), but just. They make it work. Idk, I just love the headcanon of scara and dottore developing a sorta friendship when dottore modified scaramouche, and that developing into something else over the years.

"Your Majesty, you have called for me....?"

"Ah, yes. It is nothing concerning your Harbinger-duties, my dear Six. I was just wondering when you'd like to propose, hm?"
