...look i've read a lot romance because despite being aro and not wanting any kind of romantic anything irl it's one of my favourite genres, and it is a weirdly common thing to have one or both main characters seemingly be somewhere on the aro spectrum.

it's almost certainly not on purpose and i'm not saying there's great representation, but this seems to be a thing or there's something really similar going on and it makes reading romance as an aromantic really funny at times
