We collectively need to talk about Travis canonically being a theater kid more often. What musicals do we think he'd like?

Personally, I think he'd like Hamilton, Heathers, Be More Chill and Ride the Cyclone, just to name a few.

Gene drawing request from Twitter! I don't know if this is canon and I forgor, or if it's a strongly-believed headcanon, but I just love the idea of Gene being a bass player 🎸💀

(and by proxy the rest of the Shadow Knights had a garage band together) Can't decide which instrument I like for who more, but it would be drums and electric guitar, of course

I guess the real question is who I wanna see go crazy on the drums more, Sasha or Zenix, and that is a very difficult question for me.. Zenix is the obvious choice, but imagine Sasha like CMON

I haven't drawn Travis in forever, and this was the first time I've EVER drawn his parents. His mom's(genuinely speaking, does she have a name?) design isn't really what i had in mind, but it works for one video. Fun!

would you guys hear me out on Travis x Gene and Travis x Blaze??? (idk if they even have ship names) please like I'm still working out the tweaks (meaning that I'm rewatching everything) but I've got a few things:

• Travis def thought Gene was hot during highschool, but that was a secret he wanted to take to the grave,,, like he'd be mortified if Dante ever found out. Genuinely the only time he'd even THINK about admitting it would be in a game of never have I ever

• I don't think Travis and Blaze ever interacted in canon??? (correct me if I'm wrong)

• so I feel like Aphmau would introduce them to each other in PDH

• Travis would think Blaze is cool, especially his eyes.

• and I think with how friendly Blaze is, he'd get along with Travis

Post-MyStreet season 6 Danvis but it's Travis spending the holidays with Dante's family (Gene and Maria) because Terry is... y'know...

Pre-relationship Danvis but it's Dante just desperately waiting for Travis to come home safe.

Dante seeing the newscast about how everyone was wanted, but not seeing Travis and Katelyn on the list. Dante is of course worried for the others, but he was secretly grateful that Travis wasn't on the list. It doesn't stop him from being worried about him though, considering the circumstances. He had a bad feeling in his gut, but he didn't want to dwell on it. He hugged his Travis pillow extra tight that night when he went to bed.

Dante seeing the Starlight group come back, minus a few. Travis is one of those few that didn't come back. Where was Travis?

Dante eventually learning about everything that happened, and Irene, it was... Insane? Horrifying? Confusing? From Aaron being the Ultima—apparently Garroth's a werewolf now, and that was because Aaron turned him on accident—to Aphmau being the reincarnation of Irene, Aaron losing his memories, the forever potions, Garroth, Katelyn and TRAVIS being victims of child experimentation involving said forever potions...

And Travis... Travis is a descendant of the Demon Warlock. His father was literally the HOST for the demon—Michael was his name, but it was said only once. And Travis ended up getting POSSESSED by the demon himself. And all the chaos and damage that was caused by using him as a host... None of it was Travis' fault, not in the slightest, but Dante knew that Travis was going to feel so much guilt over it.

And then there was Terry, Travis' father. Now Dante wasn't the biggest fan of Terry. From what he knew, Terry had mood switches throughout Travis' childhood: one minute he was spoiling Travis with affection, the next he was flat out neglecting him and acting cold. Travis always tried to see the better in his father. Personally, Dante thought that Travis was too forgiving when it came to Terry. However, it wasn't really his place to judge Travis, since it was a personal thing.

Dante didn't think he'd forgive Terry for anything regarding Travis' childhood—it didn't matter if Terry didn't do anything to Dante personally. Travis didn't deserve the consequences of Terry's mood switches. Dante wasn't fond of Terry, but that didn't mean he wanted him to die.

Terry sacrificed himself to save Travis. To save his son. The demon had been removed from Travis and transferred to Terry, and then Terry was turned into a relic? (at least that's what Dante remembered from the explanation he was given. There was a lot going on, it was hard to keep up) in order to get rid of the demon for good. Terry wasn't the best father, but he loved Travis. And based on how things went down, it sounded like Travis didn't even get to say goodbye.

Travis went through so much, and was guaranteed to be absolutely traumatized from everything. Travis went through all of that, and Dante wasn't there. He hadn't been able to do anything to help his best friend. He was worried about Travis' mental state in the aftermath of everything, as well as the physical healing.

And now, Dante wasn't going to be able to see Travis for who knows how long. He and Aphmau were being kept at Starlight because the Guardian Forces wanted to study them. Dante didn't like the way it was phrased. And frankly, he didn't like the idea either. But all he could do was wait. Wait for Travis to return. For Travis to come home.

Dante wanted Travis back home. His best friend. The Travis pillow was nothing compared to the real Travis. It was normal to miss Travis. It was totally normal for him to curl up in a ball and fall asleep on his best friend's bed while hugging a pillow of said best friend. It was totally normal to be captivated by his best friend's smile and miss it like crazy.

Gene had mentioned once that he and Travis would bicker like a couple. Dante would brush it off, but he noticed that there was a look in Gene's eyes, a look that was knowing and maybe even had the slightest bit of softness. But it wasn't like Dante liked Travis that way, right? He just cared about him. A lot.

And when the day finally came, when Travis was finally coming back, Dante was up early. It was very much earlier than necessary, but it didn't matter—Travis was returning.

And when he finally saw Travis again, for the first time in months, he noticed the state he was in. Travis seemed exhausted, and had a bit of a distant look in his eyes. But the moment they locked eye contact, a weak smile was on Travis' face, and there was a small spark in his eyes despite the dullness to them. There was relief in his expression.

And the hug, Dante thought he might have been crushing him, but Travis had immediately reciprocated the hug, and practically melted into the embrace. There were so many things Dante wanted to say, but he felt choked up and he couldn't get anything out. But the moment felt right, like no words were necessary, almost like the silence could express everything.

There was a muttered "I'm home" that came from Travis, muffled by the tight hug, but it was clear enough to be heard.

And Dante couldn't help but agree. Travis was back home in different aspects. He was physically back home, he'll be in the house again. But Travis was also HOME.

Dante and Travis together. That was home.
