I reached a goal today, and I am humbled, honored and full of gratitude that just over 10k of you care, even just a little bit about this little family of mine!!. • I am ecstatic, yet I am acutely aware that this would not have been possible without the love and support of all of you. ❤️. • So I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart!!!. • Please know this post isn't about boasting or bragging, rather showing my appreciation for all of you who believe in me. • It also serves as a reminder to me that even when you feel disappointed or as though you've failed 100 different ways, you should still celebrate the good times, the victories, and the moments that make you smile.😊. • Thanks again for making me smile dear friends, and as we do prepare for this new year I'd love to hear some topics and ideas that you'd like to see on the blog. I had so much fun at Alex's class Christmas party this week!!! 🎉🎉There was sugar, sugar and more sugar, and she wasn't complaining!😂. • I had a great time aside from the fact that I was at my child's classroom party, which means she's in a class, in a school, and this time next year we'll be celebrating in her kindergarten class!😭😭😭. • In other news... all these changes and rumored changes that keep happening here in Instaland have me all 🤔😖😒. • I know not all change is bad, but can I just post my photos and live my life? Here's some truth this morning: I went to bed with tears streaming down my face last night. I felt discouraged and defeated. • I have so many goals and desires and hopes and dreams...but I have fear too. • I have pride. • I have doubt. • I have envy. • I have all these ugly things in my heart but I really just want to glorify God. • I have all these deep things that I want to share but I'm scared of how they'll be received. • I have a list of should've, would've, could've's in terms of things I wanted to accomplish this year, and it's hard to not feel like a failure when next to none of them have been done. • I know that's the enemy talking and I know that as long as I don't give up I'm already victorious. • But my flesh is weak friends. I give myself far too much credit to do these things on my own and don't lean into the Lord nearly enough. I want nothing more than to encourage others, but behind the scenes I'm steady disqualifying myself. • I went to bed feeling heavy and woke up with sadness in my heart. I was fighting thoughts of not being good enough all the way to my 5 AM kickboxing class and all the way home. I spent some time worshiping God and I'm still fighting through the frustration and disappointment I feel towards myself. • But every time, EVERY TIME I turn to His Word I find truth. Whether in the Bible itself or in a custom mugs from a sweet friend. I know that I am more than a conqueror. I know I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I know I am my own worst enemy and can never forget about the importance of grace. • I don't really know where to go from here but I know this: Today is a new day. Tomorrow is a new day, and I will keep pursuing my dreams.💗 •

Oh Lily... You are growing little one and my mama heart doesn't know what to do. 💗You've been using the potty and using your words. 💗If daddy is around you want nothing to do with me these days. And you definitely don't want me to have anything to do with him.😂😭. 💗You are incredibly stubborn and tough as nails. 💗You've made snacking an Olympic sport. 💗You want to pick out your own clothes and you have a very strong opinion. 💗Your curls are magical. 💗Your face could tell a thousand stories and your laughter can melt a thousand hearts. 💗Getting to hold you like this is becoming more of a special treat and no longer a daily occurrence. 💗 I miss my little koala baby arms around me every night. 💗 I love you to the moon and back, and always, always will.💕

Hello, hello friends!! I've got a two for one for you all tonight!😂First up, I have a new post ontheblog! I'm recapping the rest of my recent trip to New York with lots of photos of food and friends of course!😋😉. • Second, @quitfaking asked me to join in on celebrating @ig.motherhood hitting and exceeding 10k followers recently!🎉🎉 So here are 10 fun facts about me! 1. I rarely share my personal blogging goals on here, but it would be amazing if I too reached 10K by the end of this year! We'll see!😊. 2. I'm left-handed but was taught to play softball as a right-handed player when I first started at 7 years old. 3. I majored in animal science @tuskegeeuniversity and know how to castrate a bull 3 ways!😳. 4. I didn't get my drivers license until it was required for a college internship...in Alaska. 5. I don't know how to sow. Not even a button on a shirt. 🙈. 6. I'm a major procrastinator, but thankfully I work well under pressure. 😬. 7. I sang at my high school graduation with 3 of my supremely talented classmates. I was scared to death!!! There's a video on YouTube... 8. I don't eat chocolate, or raw tomatoes, or peas. 9. I don't play any instruments but always wanted to learn the violin. 10. Authentic Mexican food is my favorite which makes me sad cuz I'm in Georgia. 😭😂. • That's all for now! Hello beautiful friends! 💙💙💙 I know the recent giveaways have brought new faces and I wanted to say hi! 👋🏾I thought it would be fun to share some fun facts & I'd like to hear from you too! Here goes!😊. • 🌟I've never watched an episode of Gilmore Girls. 😮I hear it's kind of a big deal. 😉. 🌟I don't drink coffee 🚫☕️🚫. 🌟As of this evening my 2 yo has decided to start claiming my man as her husband. 🙅🏾Yep, it's that phase and you can check my Insta stories for a hilarious video on that. 🌟I LOVE this kimono. It's from @lularoesummerpierce & it's one of the first items I've ever tried from Lularoe! I'm so late to the party, I know. 🙈There will be more on that later! 🌟My workout of choice is kickboxing, and while my consistency hasn't been where I want it lately, I will be @ilkbmidlandga tomorrow working off that mac and cheese and pie from yesterday! 😋👊🏾. 🌟Speaking of food, and my 2yo again, she ate 2 Hawaiian rolls for Thanksgiving dinner. That's it. And had the nerve of wiping her mouth and her hands before she left the table as if she'd accomplished some major feat!
