“Hawks and horses, even hounds, I can deal with.” An exhausted sigh left his lips as he slid a hand through his dark hair. “But having a direwolf, albeit sweet and harmless, took a bit of getting used to. I wonder what would scare the servants most; a dragon or a direwolf?”
Minisa put her hands on her hips. “Are you saying you have a problem with Winter?” she said, obviously baiting and teasing her husband. “Your dearest grandmother is scarier than she is the majority of the time.”

Well, I didn’t know it was going to be so sad when I started it. It was about a prince who turned into a wolf when he was very young, until he met a princess. I didn’t realize it would end so sadly.
Hm, I guess with that description, it could have gone either way. Maybe you should read a happier story to cheer yourself up.

“‘Don’t worry, I’ll save you. Your life will be like my own life.’ This is such a sad book… I don’t think I’ve ever heard a sadder story.”
Sister, why are you even reading such sad books?

Not gonna lie…I have a little something for Bloodraven. I think he is so interesting and I really want to know more about him.

I miss the days when ‘no’ wasn’t a part of Brandon’s vocabulary…
It seems like the hardest part of parenting.

I don’t know. I want to be able to give you a male heir, but Lena was so difficult...
Do you want another child though? I mean, I would love for Lena to have a sibling, but if you don’t want to then I’m sure Lena will do just fine. She’s a good girl.

Ah, yes, that’s what I’m afraid of.
Of course, but don’t underestimate how quickly the time will fly.

Alright, I’m sorry Mini, but we didn’t really go anywhere west when we were down south. We went to the Vale, the Crownlands and the Stormlands, then we went across the narrow sea for a bit. I’m sure I can come visit you soon, though. It’s not like Lyanna would be against traveling again.
Oh, I do miss Ros. I haven’t seen her since everything that happened all those years ago. I’d love to get her down to Highgarden to meet Lena, and to meet little Torrhen.
Well, it’s sounds like you two are a long way from truly settling down, so I expect a visit from you soon, little brother.
It seems everyone is well! It’s nice to see Rose smile again, and little Brandon has grown so much. Mother is the same as always, though she may be sad all of her children have grown up.

And Arelie is just past one… They’re growing so quickly, aren’t they?
It’s strange, isn’t it? I wonder if this is how our parents felt when we were this young.

And yet you don’t sound like it’s something you want. We’re in no rush. Lena is still young.. and uh.. yeah.. so are you.
Well, having Lena is... strange enough. I love her, of course. I’m just not... motherly, I suppose.

Of course not.. Well, I don’t know, maybe it’s my imagination. I guess I have to get used to being back in Winterfell.
Speaking of being back in Winterfell, how is everyone doing there? It’s been a while since I’ve seen Rickard and Ros and Mother... And William Stark! I am disgusted that, during your travels, you did not take your lovely bride to come see me in Highgarden.

Perhaps she will be the heir forever. Given your last pregnancy, I’m not sure if having another child would be a good idea. If things go wrong again, I wouldn’t know what to do.
Ah, well you never know, and--and male heirs are important.

You think? I know Sarra heard it too. Her ears perked upwards just now. Are you sure you didn’t hear anything?
Well my hearing isn’t nearly as good as Sarra’s, but I definitely didn’t hear anything.

Uh, Will, I think you’re hearing things.
“Do you hear that? That screeching sound is what has kept me up for the last many weeks. What do you think it is?”

That seems a reasonable idea. I wish it was that simple. Southern customs and all, it gets tiring in the long run. I already issued a message, saying we’re not looking for suitors, but they keep coming. People are very eager for a potential spot in Highgarden.
It’s not like Lena will be the heir for ever. I think if we did give away Lena just like that their house leaders would only end up disappointed in the end with the power they gain from it.

“If I get one more letter from a lord asking for my daughter’s hand in marriage, I will surely go mad. I’ve had a pile of them waiting for me every day since she was born. It gets incredibly tiring to answer them all in a polite manner.”
These lords are ridiculous; she is just a small child. I say you just start throwing them in the trash.
