MILKCART:ON at Wickerman Festival. Part One.
We teamed up with Glasgow PodcART to bring you some of the best bits from Wickerman Festival. Here is part one, featuring a cringeworhty beatboxing workshop with Bigg Taj and Spee SixNine, Salò covering Fugazi in a teensy pink caravan, lots of drunk people, and Stanley Odd doing their thang with a group of mad drummers. Watch it if you please.

Wickerman Festival was too much fun! We'd like to thanks the organisers and of course Glasgow PodcART for inviting us long to get drunk, be silly and interview bands. You can see this on film very soon.

OH, THISTLE BE NICE!
The gloriously good Thistly Cross cider now have their own festival with a line-up that includes Meursault, Scott Frabbit, Yaya Club, Withered Hand, Remember Remember, Kitty the Lion, Bwani Junction, Fatherson, Capitals..... hunners! Just hunners oh good bands!
Happily we've been invited along to do tings and tings in conjunction with the Thistlies. Here's the wee statement they put out earlier: We are very excited to announce that the good people of MILK Glasgow will be coming along to Thistly Fest to help us run some rather excellent acoustic sessions, they may even have some tickets to give away. We know what these guys do on their own patch so we can't wait to see what their going to do on ours. Keep your eyes peeled for more information on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The M1LK birthday party was always going to be a hard act to follow. All we knew was that we needed something BIG. REAL BIG. And as our weary eyes searched the darkness despairingly, our sights set on Glasgow-based band Arches to fill the shoes of their MILKy forebears. All powerhouse drums, soaring vocals and loud guitars, Arches’ stadium band sound is going to blast the roof off of Flat 0/1. Plus, they always wear vests so they’ll be able to handle the heat. www.facebook.com/ArchesUK Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJODjCoa4xE Archimedes Principle is the side project of Fatherson frontman Ross Leighton alongside his baby brother Sam, who also appears in the latest Fatherson video for Firstborn as the lonely kid with the goldfish. Little do most folk know, Sam is a master of the drum kit. Combined with the soulful vocals of his big bro, this makes for a storming live set that, surprisingly, has only happened once before. Join us for Archimedes Principle’s second show - you don’t want to miss this. www.facebook.com/pages/Archimedes-Principle/268626569826129?ref=ts Meet Ross & Sam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20PgQiRijnw Fantastic Man DJ set - Fantastic Fun more like EH, EHHHH. Ohyes. Ohyesplease. PLUS all the usual delights such as yer DJs until 3am; visuals; made-to-order white/mint/pink russians; cheap cider and cherry Lambrini; a photographer snapping all the action; just general ol’ good times. £4/£3. MILK. Good for your bones. Great for your ears.
