You can love your life and sit patiently until someone comes along. Don’t waste your time waiting. Don’t waste your life turning every corner, turning every stone because you think you can’t be as happy on your own. You can. Maybe you’ll feel lonely for a while and there’s nothing wrong with it as long as you know there’s a difference between being lonely and being alone. Maybe you’ll run into the right person along the way. Maybe they’ll run into you. And it doesn’t have to be painful. Love doesn’t have to hurt and it doesn’t have to leave you empty or lonely or broken. You have a lot of love to give, so don’t keep it bottled up when you think you don’t have anyone to give it to - give it to yourself. Buy yourself a bouquet of flowers, dance in your underwear, sing in the shower, do something stupid with your best friend, smile more than you��ve ever smiled before. Life is more beautiful with love in it, yes. But the love you have is love you can give to yourself until you believe it’s time to give it to someone else.
