Let Harvey admit that he fell in love with Mike without wanting to. Let him say it through gritted teeth, while downing a second glass of scotch and looking the other direction. Let him say he wanted to tell him, but didn’t want to ruin their friendship. Let him say he didn’t want to separate him and Rachel. Let him say that it was never going to work anyway. Let him go home that night, feeling bitter and lonely, only to find Mike on his doorstep

Marvey Week └ January 21st: Day 2 » Modern Family

Harvey loves the mornings.  The quiet peace.  The view from his condo watching the sunrise.  Drinking his coffee, eating a bagel or some fruit, even cooking if he felt like it.  On the mornings he had a guest over lazy morning sex.  Mornings where his favorite time of day.

Only now he can barely remember a time of peace and quiet.  Now morning consist of missing shoes.  Of trying to wrangle a genius five year old into clothing because he refuses to go to school due to the fact he finds his teachers “idiotic”.  Of a husband who he has to drag out of bed and throw in the shower in order to get him going.  Who would never even remember to eat breakfast let alone make it if he didn’t do it himself.

Really when did mornings become complete chaos?  What happened to the relaxation?

He watches Mike run about with a tie tossed round his neck jumping on one foot as he tries to get his shoes on.  “Luke let’s go Ray’s waiting!”  How he somehow manages to come out of all this mess looking like a professional Harvey’s still not sure how.  “Okay, okay, ready to go?”

Harvey can’t help but laugh shaking his head at his lovely mess of a husband.  “I’m the only one ready.”

Yeah mornings are his favorite time of day.

I’d like to dedicate this to @jessascrazylife.  Who requested Harvey and Mike as Mitchell and Cameron.  I have never seen the show so I went on youtube to watch clips of them which led to this lovely idea.  Since I didn’t have Modern Family on my computer and no time to download it I had to use what I already had.  So not what you wanted in the least but you did inspire me!
