I feel like some of the biggest franchises to end this year have duped me. I’ve put my whole fandom souls into each one of these series and came out feeling bummed at the end. Years of my life. Let me explain...

Game of Thrones- Left me feeling like I spent my entire teen years waiting for this amazing finale. It was rushed, didn’t have the masterful writing and cinematography that the beginning seasons had. I mean, that’s what pulled us all into the GOT craze, right? The fact that they killed my beloved Daenerys is 1/3 souls dead within me. 

Avengers- Again, a whole decade. Years of my life put into loving a series. Falling in love with characters, story arcs, relationships. Suffering losses, then the return of those amazing characters. Well the last movie wasn’t as kind to us. My one true love, Natasha Romanoff, dead and never coming back. 2/3 souls dead. 

Star Wars- I just can’t. Ben Solo dead. 3/3 souls dead. 

I get not everything can have a happy ending, but I just want to cry. lmao
