Son of Maud Pie and Starlight Glimmer!

Polite yet cynical, Onyx Daze goes through life cautious. Growing surrounded by powerful unicorns, Onyx tried to master magic, but despite his mother being one of the strongest unicorns in all of Equestria, Onyx could could never pass a moderate level. Most of his spells backfired horribly on him. He cut his losses and went to another passion he was interested in, medical school. He’s currently studying to be a doctor. When he’s not involved with school, he’s with friends or helping his mothers out at the School of Friendship.

Onyx Daze is an introvert, but still loves the company of other creatures, he’s close with Stella Balas (his sister), Opal Flicker (his cousin), Hornet, Dernier Cri, Lockheed, Ethereal, Dulcet Delights, Kiwiclamor and Surya.

Much to his mothers dismay, Onyx usually ends up fighting with Goji Glow and Virago.

So, in this AU Sombra doesn’t attack the crystal empire a second time (I’ll have another post about that whole situation!) But the main thing is Sombra feels super aimless and is trying to fit-in in modern day Equestria.

And who better to teach him about modern day Equestria than Mr.Popular himself! Fancy grew up in a very broken home and knows what it’s like to be in a dark place, that’s exactly why Rarity recommended to two stay close to one another.

Closer they did get, with much distaste from Fleur (she thought Sombra was pretty suspicious but he’ll grow on her.) the two got together after Sombra’s whole redemption arc. They have two kids named Radiant Hope and Cimmerian.

Son of Spike and King Thorax.

Prince of the Changelings and Nephew of Princess Twilight, Hornet has has prim and proper shoved down his throat. And he hates it. The changelings are kind, but some take advantage of that. Hornet dedicates his time to protecting the hive, his fathers, and his friends. Failure is not something Hornet takes lightly, and his mistakes eat away at him constantly. Like how he indirectly caused Cerulean Snap’s deafness.

Though tough and brash, Hornet loves socializing, and cares for his friends in his own way. He usually hangs around Pyre (his sister), Opal Flicker, Vespasear, Onyx Daze, Akoya, Lockheed, Virago, Goji Glow, and Bulaa.

Hornet doesn’t understand Flurry Heart, and the two tend to avoid each other.

Daughter of Spitfire and Rainbow Dash!

Snap is the youngest of the Dashfire family, she’s also the most curious and most daring. When she was seven, she had managed to get away from Hornet, her foal-sitter at the time, to go watch her moms practice. Unfortunately, Snap had sat too close without proper protection and as her mother performed a sonic rainboom, she could only be amazed for about three seconds before her eardrums burst. By the time Hornet, Lockheed, Virago, Goji Glow, and Akoya found Snap, she was unconscious and bleeding from the ears with her cutie mark suddenly attained. Magic nor medicine could repair the damage done.

Friends and family were quick to support Snap, teaching and learning sign language. Snap can only hear when something is said to her softly, and up close (and even then it’s really hard to make out). Any other sort of noise hurts her ears or give her a headache. Sunburst and Pyre are in the process of making hearing aids for her.

Cerulean has strong bonds with a lot of creatures, but chooses to hang out with those her age the most. Like Stella Balas, Prince Oveure, Pacific Rose, Ambrosia and Giavanna.

As a colt, Lockheed tried to emulate those he looked up to, that is still evident today as he struggles to find his own style. He’s athletic and bold, but it’s clear his heart isn’t set on being a wonderbolt. He loves astronomy, but can’t force himself it study it forever. Lockheed was at a loss. Until Fuji Tart came to him and offered him a spot on her voyage team to expedition the Bad Lands. He took it, happy to have any opportunity to make friends and find something he would love doing.

Lockheed is typically friendly! He gets along with most but is closest to his mothers, his sisters, Hornet, Opal Flicker, Goji Glow, Akoya, Fuji Tart, Haut Monde, Soiree, and Nyx.

If Lockheed has an argument with someone he makes sure to work it out as soon as possible, he doesn’t like conflict.

Daughter of Rainbow Dash and Spitfire.

Stubborn and strong, Virago was raised to stand up for what she believed in. So she did. She was always first to protect friends and family for discrimination, her lineage and strong build making confrontation with her scary. But while Virago does enjoy racing and training, her hearts in academic work. She’s decided to but her headstrong attitude to work and is attending law school.

Virago is stoic. Only opening up to family and select friends like Princess Rana, Opal Flicker, Hornet, Fuji Tart, and Surya.

Virago while quiet is most definitely opinionated, and she lets that show often. She doesn’t get along at all with Goji Glow or Onyx Daze.

Daughter of Discord and Fluttershy.

Amity doesn’t have the full chaotic abilities of her father, instead capabilities allow her to manipulate natural elements like fire, water, earth and plants. She’s also able to levitate and teleport things. However, when emotions cloud her judgement, her fathers magic shines through. This is why Amity typically prefers to be calm and collected. She was close with Flurry before the two suddenly began to fight more and more, leading up to a duel that ended with bloodshed. Amity regrets this, and it eats away at her.

Amity is quiet and snarky at some times, but is close to Bulaa, Saccharin, Fuji Tart, Haut Monde, Vespa Sear, and Usiku.

She and Flurry had a dispute that ended their friendship. She hissed at Opal Flicker once and now he avoids her.

As it became clearer and clearer that Gilda was the new leader of the Griffons, she found herself having to deal with worse and worse situations. It came to a breaking point after Gloria was found in Griffonstones’ town square unconscious, neglected and bruised. With no creature claiming to know her, Gilda decided to adopt Gloria. Though reserved, Gloria has always taken a love for gardening. She also tries to help her mothers efforts in restoring Griffonstone whether it be by befriending locals or attending official gatherings. Gloria knows where Flurry Heart is.

Gloria is fairly popular in Griffonstone, and knows most of the locals but outside of that she’s close to Beau Monde, Usiku, Giavanna, Pyre and Saccharine.

Some elderly griffons dislike Gloria due to her occasion with her mother Gilda.

The first thing most notice about Stella is the large and various scars she has. Stella has always resembled her aunt Pinkie Pie, in both a literal and mental sense. She was (and still is) cheerful at every opportunity, and always tries to make a new friend. That’s why when on an underground expedition with her mom and brother, six year old Stella saw no issue in confronting a rabid diamond dog. Maud and Onyx to this day blame themselves, Stella assures then if it was anyone’s fault it was hers. Now 14, Stella still walks with a limp, and deals with mild PTSD, but she presses on. Stella is still as bubbly (maybe even more so) than she was before the accident. She loves to help her mothers and aunts, she greets everyone with a smile, her favorite pass time is tending to the school of Friendships courtyard.

Though open and friendly, Stella tends to gravitate and hang out with creatures her own age like Bittersweet, Pacific Rose, Giavanna, Cerulean Snap, Cherrybrook (her cousin), Oveure and Elytron, her brother Onyx Daze is an exception.

Why would you hate Stella? Trick question. No one does.
