Anyone else think the KPDH and Noblesse trios are similar at least in personalities, or just me ??
Zoey/Tao : the bubbly one, gets easily excited/playful, can also be really badass. The eccentric one. The one you think is all OK mentally but is also hurting inside.
Rumi/M-21 : the mysterious one, part human part other (source of conflict), often distances themselves from their teammates, lone wolf type but genuinely cares for others. Full of SASS.
Mira/Takeo : the "parent", they are very protective/helpful, and are the balanced "in-between" personality, which makes them able to understand their teammates easily. Also MAJESTIC HAIR

Not only did fans do all that the korean fans also got Alpha which was set in the same universe cut short cos of their anger with Noblesse's ending.
I'm super fuckin late to the party BUT
I'm going to leave my piece anyway.
The final chapter of Noblesse should've been a heaven dream sequence. Showing Rai at school and reunited with the kids, having the trio relaxed and at peace, having Raskreia being a proud Lord with devoted and happy nobles, and having Muzaka playing with his daughter in the river.
That would've been a good ending.
Do I blame the author for his choice in the final chapter? NO
He made an ending. And fans bitched and moaned about Rai dying so much that he made a rushed extra chapter. And then they bitched and moaned about it not being well written.
That's what you get though.
Would we have all loved if Rai got his happily ever after? YES
But I genuinely think that there was no escape for Rai. He was always dying. He was dying when Frankenstein met him a thousand years ago, and he was doubly dying when the story started.
People die. At least be grateful that it was GOT dying and people actually did get an ever after. Even if it wasn't everybody.
If y'all want a happily ever after then you need to write it yourself. That's the magic of fanfiction.
Truly. It was a lovely story that made me laugh and cry and shout in anger, and it's okay that it wasn't perfect.
#text#i actually thought the ending made sense and fit and was so amused by everyone being disappointed#and then the epilogue got rushed out and i was surprised but i accepted it and made it make sense via my own hcs and etc#meanwhile the same people complained about it and worst of all#said they could do better#which is an immediate way to make me lose respect cos sure lets get you on the release one long chapter a week grind and see if you can#oh you cant do something that fits the same genre and theming and makes sense?#also fix its and aus are fine i love them but you cant claim theyre better than canon#which a lot of fans do and thus i lose respect again#the only thing i can believe fans might be able to do better on is not include all that racism and misogyny and etc#but even that not really cos ive had those same fans be assholes when i criticise charles whole charac#also yeah i fucking love Raskreia#they butchered my girl in the anime#and i do think she made very questionable decisions as lord but raizel also makes them#just that they arent as important simply cos hes not in charge of running a country#they really are so similar i love my darling lord#also raskreia is admirable even if she was mistaken about raizel because she never backed down!!#she would never let him hurt her people or the world and the whole thing with gejutel was overdramatic sure and maybe she shoulda just read#his mind but from her perspective shes trying to respect the laws and her fathers intentions about mind reading so even if shes allowed to#shes sticking to her principles#ignoring the decision itself that speaks so much for her character she has so much integrity i love her#and banishing whole clans doesnt really reflect on her charac in universe cos author didnt mean it too#so even if i do take that seriously and make it one of her very bad decisions in my own hcs#canonically the decision is irrelevant#theres plenty to critical about with noblesse but if you then conclude it sucks completely and you could do it better...#wrong wrong wrong#anyway i really wish alpha could have had a proper run because it was lore on the union#it could have been so fascinating#like the ending i feel would have been similar cos i cant see it going that differently#but there could have been so much more in between if it was more than a measly 20 chapters
