Meet Andrea (name not final) and Jax, vocalist and guitarist! Andrea is sort of the main main character, and the only member of the band not to have anything supernatural going on with her. She's very refined and elegant and loves symphonic metal. Her voice is hauntingly beautiful but she's also mastered the most low, demonic, powerful death metal screams to unleash when you least expect it! I based her design on Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum and the pro wrestler Anastasia Morningstar. Jax can summon lightning with guitar solos and refuses to wear a shirt

Meet Jimothy Weevilton, the Weevil Lord! He has an army of a rare species of weevils, scientific name weevilus evilus, common name weeevil. They can spit deadly acid, cast curses, cause a tornado by swarming and flying in a circle, control you with their hive mind by crawling in your ears into your brain, and drill holes in acorns... evilly. His primary goal is vengeance upon his arch rival famous nu metal artist Daddy Cockroach (the rivalry is very one sided) by turning him into a weevil with his WEEVIL RAY

Her name is Barry

She's a cat made of darkness and the concept of heavy metal with whiskers, tail, and claws made of fire (the fire doesn't burn things if she doesn't want it to, it's just really warm, and also red because that's a badass color)

She lives in a dimension of rock and roll, and emerges into this world through portals that exist within pyro at concerts to kick ass in the pit. She's like the guardian of the pit, she keeps people safe in there

She usually only reveals herself to one or a few people at a time, the rest are left with a vague, blurry, dream-like memory of another... human? whose features they can barely recall

If you leave your guitar case open she will sleep in it. She is way too big to fit. But that will not stop her. She's also going to eat all the snacks you have in your tour bus

If she likes a band she reaches into the musical currents of the universe and pulls out vinyl copies of their entire discography to add to her collection. She can do this even if the music in question wasn't released on vinyl, or was never even recorded in the first place

Purr sounds like a bass riff (think the second half of the breakdown in body bag by beartooth), meows sound like a guitar, hiss sounds like a combination of distortion and a cymbal crash, etc.

Very soft fur, but when you look at it from the right angle it's actually a swirling shadowy void full of glowing red sparks which are the manifestations of songs artists put their whole heart into

Finally sketched a design for the main villain of my project Metal Mysteries! (title not final) I don't have a name for him yet, but he's an undead lich who feeds by stealing the souls and musical talent of other musicians, by playing their own songs backwards at them on the guitar attached to his skeleton. This is his true form, not the much more alive looking illusion he usually hides behind

New oc! Meet Midnight Darknesson, keyboard player of Easton and Veronica's band and amateur necromancer! I based their design on one of the people kicking absolute ass in the Amaranthe and Dragonforce pit the other night

Finally (mostly) finished! (still have to design his tattoos, he's supposed to have a sleeve on his left arm but I can't do that until I write more of the story so I'm done with this one for now) this is Easton, one of the main characters of a project I'm working on about a band that goes on tour and discovers a bunch of supernatural mysteries at the shows they play. It's kind of like Scooby Doo, Gravity Falls, or MBAV with an adult target audience and some horror mixed in. Easton is the bass player in the currently unnamed band and the one who's afraid of ghosts and demons. His motorcycle gets possessed by a demon horse named Kevin
