As you know, the war began on October 7 and lasted ten months. During this period, we were unable to obtain food, drink, or treatment because we did not have money.

There is no source of income for the family at the present time, so we are unable to buy food, clean water, and medicine, especially after we are afflicted with the ongoing infectious diseases spread in the north like Hepatitis C disease.

Our house has been damaged a lot since the beginning of the war. We are from the north of Gaza and we are still in the north and have not displaced to the south. We displaced 10 times from place to another seeking to safety .

We hope for your help and support, even if only a little.🙏🙏

Audio Drama Sunday - 24th November ✨

I didn’t get to listen to too much this week on account of work being outrageously busy but I really enjoyed what I managed to catch!

🌲 @hellofromthehallowoods (174) DANCING UNDERWATER YOU SAY? REALLY, Percy? Honestly, listening to this show is not enough. I need to bite it. I kind of hate that Victoria has taken on this role in but I do love her moustache. And oh my god, those crazy kids (the oldest gayest men in Scout City) made it work, huh. Nearly fell off my bike when kissing was mentioned. Raj is truly such an interesting character, I really hope we get to learn more about why he’s Like That. 

🦋 @remnantspod (16) What an interesting episode. I feel like there was so much here to unpack that I need to listen to it again to catch some of the plot tendrils I missed. Sir’s voice is just too lovely to listen to!! 

🎃 Waiting For October by @monkeymanproductions (1.5) Charlene! What a sweetheart! I loved the lore drop about how the crossings came to be and the initial challenges. The pull is a very interesting concept and I’m sure it’s going to become very relevant in a future episode…

This week, Charlene, the lake monster sometimes known as Champ (but do not mention that around her), talks about the crossings between our world and October. The ambiance of the water lapping, Charlene's voice, and all the stories she holds could have had me listening for hours!

@kingmakerpod Chapter Twenty-Four - Criminal Honeymoon: Colette gets separated from Iyer and Winterlich again. I'm impressed at how capable she was at getting herself free this episode! She's usually much more a wet cat of a man, but look at that growth!

@desertskiespodcast Desert Skies FM - Dear C.A.S.H.: None of our attendants are in a good spot! Hopefully C.A.S.H. can come to the rescue!

@octoberandfish S02E11 - Market Chase! (Casamanta pt. 3): Exactly as advertised! Lots of close calls, rooftop acrobatics, and stilettos being used as climbing picks. And then suddenly, betrayal! October's worst fear is realized!

@ameliapodcast Season 1 + Episode 12 - Percy Two - World Audio Drama Day Special: I have finally started The Amelia Project! It's so good! The stories are so creative and fun. And the Percy episodes? Fantastic! I am a little concerned about Amelia based on how the season ended though... [Side note: I knew the Interviewer's drink of choice was cocoa, but I need to say, as someone who does not drink tea or coffee, I am feeling a lot of affinity to him.]

Audio Drama Sunday didn't know what to expect

Here's a crossover I didn't know I needed! And wouldn't you know it, the "city metro line becomes a city" show and the "rescued aliens share people's bodies" show have a weird amount in common, which the episode has fun pointing out. I like the idea that Give Me Away is canon in Greater Boston, but everyone is Greater Boston is just too wrapped up in all the bs in front of them to even comment on the confirmed existence of aliens.

Realms' Liminal London series has been dropping big hints about the Queen of Hyde Park for a long time, and the only thing I love more than teasing at a powerful off-screen villain is when the spotlight moves to them and the teasing pays off.

The world has been ravaged down to the core, the oceans banished to the skies, and the two remaining habitable continents are divided by a massive canyon full of demonic birds. One of these continents is the playground of the wealthy, the other a slum inhabited by the poor. In addition to having to live in a Dickensian gutter, the inhabitants of the poor hemisphere are afflicted with a second terrible curse: Every day is Christmas Day.

Two teams of four characters have four sessions to acquire as much in-game wealth as possible, by any means necessary. The winning team gets a real cash prize and their characters each gain a wish.

I can't really articulate what this is better than this. Already there's been rules lawyering aplenty and even more weird worldbuilding on top of the ridiculous initial premise.

hi! i worked backstage on london tide and i can confirm at least one conversation about silt verses parallels in the script and songs with a cast member happening during the run. the thematic similarities did not go unremarked upon

Thank you anon for this extremely important backstage goss! I'm absolutely delighted to imagine fervent discussions in the lyttleton dressing rooms about whether bradley headstone would be a worthy saint of the trawler-man (I'm sure it wasn't actually like that but allow me the thought)

@innbetween Season 5: This season was so fun! The Lowlifes are such a fun group to follow, and it's been so interesting to learn more of how they got to this point. Though I feel like one of them is a bit more of a lowlife than the others... Next season is going to be wild!

@midnightburgr Chapter 40 - Romney for America: Earth stuck in 2012, but located in another galaxy? Hwat? David experiencing his first trip into the cosmos is fun! Caspar experiencing David's first trip into the cosmos is also very fun! Losing Maloo was not fun. I'm glad the diner is going to take them to rescue all of the refugees. Seems like they have quite the challenge ahead of them...

@desertskiespodcast Chapter 20 - If I have to Wait a Million Years: More clues to Nony's story! I know that whenever we get the whole picture, I'm going to bawl my eyes out. I can just feel the emotions that her whole story is steeped in. I am currently worried for all of our attendants though! Bad news indeed!

@starfallpod S2E4 - Act 1 Scene xvi: An episode of Starfall without Leona, Fel or Dalyn?? It's more likely than you think... Ozzie has NO qualms saying exactly what she thinks and it is VERY entertaining. And is that growth from Hosse I see there?

@hinaypod 48.2 - J & Dooley part 2: I have been waiting for this moment for so long! The J & Dooley reunion ♥️. Alasdair Stuart did an absolutely incredible job with this episode. I was holding my breath and/or crying for most of it. Such an emotional performance, and an emotional moment for these two characters. It was the old man yaoi we may not have deserved, but we got anyway. Also J's wife is the absolute best!

So so so excited by the return of Fawx & Stallion this week!! Here’s everything I listened to! 🎧

🌲 @hellofromthehallowoods (173) oh my goodness! So good to find out that the twins haven’t been separated again and that my favourite feathered friend is still adorably jealous. Percy’s partner sure is a litmus test, huh? Wow. I hope Diggory gets time to find just as much happiness 🖤 And that was a VERY strange and VERY suspicious conversation between Cole and Heather there… 

🔎 @224bbaker (11) “Surely not the Pound of the Baskerville’s Adoption Centre?!” had me HOWLING. So grateful to have this show back in my ears. I’ve missed these characters so much and I love the direction they’re taking with this season. PLEASE, now is the time to start listening if you’re not already in love with the show!

🧳 Travelling Light @monstrousproductions (Bloopers) Hero’s bloopers are always a delight!! I too suffer from forgetting how to pronounce my own made-up words, it’s so validating to know I’m not alone. 

🧋 @hinaypod (23-24) Ew, why did Cornelius have to turn out to be such a creep? And the gasp I gusp at Ashvin calling Murphy jealous!! EEK. Oh NO, he knows!! But also can we address that everyone knows Donner is upset that Mari isn’t talking to him but he has not asked her why?? Mari, girl, I don’t want to say it, but you could find someone whose emotional maturity somewhat approaches yours… Not Abe though!! Bad idea!! 

🥾 @doyoucopypod (207-2088) Eeeeeek I simply don’t know how I’d live with the uncertainty of not knowing if the Dead Zone was literally growing inside me. I wish that Wilson had gotten chance to see Frederick in this ep 😭 Him talking about how he was supposed to be dead quite literally broke my heart.

Here's where Audio Drama Sunday gets meta

A Game of One's Own is back! With the story of a Buffy-type character resisting her author trying to push her towards tragedy, vamp romance and melodrama. (Listen out for my guest appearance on an upcoming episode of A Game of One's Own!)

Extremely timely of Welcome to Night Vale to do a story about a marketplace for metaphysical concepts; it makes my next project way easier to pitch in certain circles ("you know the Night Vale episode Swap Meet? What if governments sent spies into Night Vale to check the City Council's not bargaining for anything they could weaponise against Desett Bluffs")

And new this week from me and Foggy Outline

I Need A Miracle reaches its season 1 finale. If you've been holding off listening: it's all there waiting for you now. If you haven't, I think it bears a second playthrough. I wrote all the episodes as standalone stories/character studies, but there are connections there to be found as well.

If you liked the series, tell someone else you think would like it too! Whether this stays as an experimental one-off thing, or expands into a multi-season collaboration with more writers and voices, now fully depends on people discovering it, sharing it, talking about it.
