Here are some small, low-level monsters for the beastiary I am working on.

Mandrake: "Although mandrake is a specific plant species which roots are known for it's mystical properties, "Mandrake" when used colloquially has become synonymous with any animated plant monster in the region. Though they can frequently be found in fields and forests, sometimes their seeds blow in from the wild and overtake an entire farmland, masquerading as ordinary crops in order to be tended to by their own personal gardener. There are stories of farmer's furiously cutting them up and serving them up in dishes regardless of their unappetizing bitter taste..."

Jelly Slime: "A relatively common type of monster that most adventurers will encounter if they travel outside of towns near any body of fresh water. Although they are relatively easy to deal with due to being slow and weak, they can be real trouble if they somehow manage to sneak up on you or appear in a swarm. Once they've ensnared a victim, they will gluttonously try to absorb their life force. Less common mutations of slime may appear more sentient and human-like, potentially posing more of a threat, but usually you can just shake them off and walk away. Some like to keep them around as pets, seemingly enjoying the cool, tingly sensation..."

These particular monsters are classified as "anima," or "animated objects." You can see the monster taxonomic classification structure below:

All subject to change! Privately I have been working on lots of writing and structuring a world around it. It is very inspired by anime, RPGs, and Japanese folklore, if it wasn't already apparent from my other characters. Eventually in the future I will do more with it, like comics and/or a roleplay game perhaps. For now it's just art & writings.

Concept for Faye's cursed form.

An excerpt from my worldbuilding for more context:

"When filled with intense emotion, her curse mark can cause her to transform into a voluptuous succubus, with inky black features taking over her body like a parasite. Through this magic, her features become more well-endowed, as if her own body is projecting the image of her desire. In this form, she can use delicate pink flames to ensnare her victims and make them feel warm. This alter-ego has a much harsher personality, although equally as doting."

Concept for Valen's beast kitsune form.

An excerpt from my worldbuilding for more context:

"Although their beastly appearance comes most naturally to them, many choose to maintain a human-like form as this is considered good social decorum and shows that there is no hostility when facing one another. When fighting or sparring however, kitsunes will reveal their true beast nature and the claws and teeth will come out. Only a very skilled kitsune can maintain proper social form in combat, and this is one way in which their noble's discipline & strength is displayed. Kitsunes may also choose to take the appearance of a quadrupedal earth fox for the sake of travel, as this form is more agile when treading long distances on foot."

Regarding Patreon

This is just a small little notice but I wanted to say that I hoped my Patreon would be set up immediately once I published the page, but it turns out Patreon requires anyone who lists themself as an adult content creator to submit their photo ID for age verification before they're able to submit and collect.

That's not a problem for me, I decided on Patreon for submitting my adult works because I prefer that it has the safety of an age verification so that minors will not be able to access my work. However, their process is automated and I've tried dozens of times over the course of a couple weeks where I had the free time to do so, and it's just very busted and doesn't want to recognize my face.

So I'm currently waiting on staff to respond to my support ticket that I put in on Friday. My page will not be able to be published until I'm able to complete their age verification process. A random kappa of moderate size & age based in Faye's world.

Kappa folk are submissive to the natural order of the harsh world around them. They are one of the few creatures tolerated by oni on account of their lack of fighting spirit, though they are still mischievous and capable of terrorizing humans from time to time.

More information on the races from this world to be released later on.
