note : These are just my ideas as to what their types are when dating lol. Y’all should definitely send requests (plsplspls)!! Also if anything is wrong I blame it on the fact I haven’t watched the show in a bit OR watched season 4. There was gonna be other characters but I’m tired and it’s 4 am.

ALEXIS RHODES :

✶ Being one of the top duelists at the academy, Alexis wouldn’t be one to settle for someone who will consistently do the bare minimum. If you aren’t someone who will put their all into things they’re passionate for, then you might not be a good match for Alexis. Some qualities she values are: compassion, honesty, empathy, confidence, and most importantly, passion. To me, she’s someone who is always striving to become a better person and duelist, so someone of the same nature is a good fit for her.

✶ Being a duelist isn’t exactly something that’s necessary in order to catch Alexis' eye and have her be interested in you, but I definitely see it being something that would make it easier to connect with her. She’s a top duelist at a school dedicated to it, will most likely pursue it as a career, and it has been something she’s done since childhood. Dueling is a big part of her life, so being with someone who doesn’t do it or comprehend it wouldn’t be ideal for her.

✶ She essentially likes people with confidence and passion, someone who she can relate to as well. Alexis is a strong girl who prefers those that don’t hide whenever they’re faced with trouble or a challenge. Other than that, I don’t think there’s much to say lol.

ATTICUS RHODES :

✶ Atticus is almost always seen being lively and carefree, the life of the party if you will. So naturally, he’d want someone who can match his energy and is just as free spirited as he is. He’s someone who carries himself with confidence and doesn’t let anyone’s words get to him. This is something he’d definitely like in a potential partner, but he doesn’t mind if someone is a little timid! But, if it’s to the point where someone lets their lack of self confidence dictate their whole life, that’s when it gets pathetic to him and deters him from pursuing someone.

✶ The whole Nightshroud situation was something heavy that Atticus will always have to carry. He was possessed by Nightshroud for around a year or so, making him miss out on quite a bit of you think about it. That year could’ve been spent with friends and creating memories, but it was instead spent in darkness and isolation. Not to mention, he lost his best friend and probably many others he was close to. With this, he’d want someone who is understanding and compassionate. If he’s having a hard time handling his traumas and someone just can’t understand why it’s tough for him, that won’t be a good match. If he’s venting to a possible partner, he’d want them to listen and truly care for what’s going on.

✶ I feel like I’ve written too much for him (and it feels like all I wrote was useless), but whatever. Atticus essentially wants someone who is carefree and confident, being able to match his vibe. But, he also needs someone who’s willing to listen and care for what he’s going through.
