I genuinly have no idea what i'm doing. Usually I overthink something and then put it on the internet. Fair warning I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to interests so god knows what you'll find here.

Would you please help me find a fic, I believe it was recommended here but I can't remember the name. It's post tws, Bucky goes to live with Steve to a big house far away from the city and he basically has to make sure that Bucky is alright and he can be in society without being a danger. Two government people if I remember right go visit them every month, bucky also sees a therapist every Wednesday I think, thanks
This one?
We’ll Be Okay Someday by arthurmarston (WIP | 105,982 | M)
“Where is he?” Is all Steve can muster up as everything starts to connect. The last thing he can remember is Bucky - Bucky’s fists connecting with his face and beating him until his eyes have swelled practically shut. He remembers himself falling from the sky - the rush of water into his lungs upon impact… it all goes black after that.
The man looks puzzled. “Captain Rogers, my name is Matthew Belle and I’m with Homeland Security. I’m here today to talk to you about your friend, James Buchanan Barnes.”
*
After the collapse of S.H.I.E.L.D., Homeland Security visits Steve Rogers in the hospital and the two parties come to an agreement. Steve will move out of DC and into a government owned home far from society where he will help rehab his once-best friend, Bucky Barnes, who may or may not remember who he is. Steve has no clue what he has signed up for…
((This story takes place in 2014, right after the immediate events of CA: WS. It does not comply with the ending or with any other MCU movies that follow suit. Tags are updated weekly! Currently updating biweekly!))

I think I’m going to start posting a series of oneshots that leads up to a total of a whole story and then post all of that on like ao3 or something when I’m done just because I can. Only problem is is that I need time to do it

“... we were able to find bucky's humor and he kind of got to a different place by that point, emotionally and mentally, had confronted some of his demons. it's always exciting because he keeps evolving.”

Putting fanfic on your e-Reader (2/4)
Now that you know how to add personal documents to your Kindle or NOOK, it’s time to start grabbing fanfiction to add. There’s several ways to do it depending on your preferred archive. Archive of Our Own and a couple of smaller archives make this extremely easy by automatically letting you save a fic as a e-book file.
Archive of Our Own
Near the top of the story you’re reading, you’ll see a few options. Click on “download,” and it’ll expand a menu for you.
You now have the option to download the story as a .mobi (Kindle), .epub (NOOK), PDF or HTML file. Take the file and send it to your e-Reader. Easy.
Using FanfictionDownloader
However, for Fanfiction.net and other archives, you have the very tedious task of copying and pasting fics into a word processor. Sometimes, you might want to do this if you’re very picky about the final outcome. However, if you’re OK with seeing loads of author’s notes and possible review responses, then a scraper will work for you for quickly grabbing a fanfic and converting it to your preferred format.
The best scraper I’ve found is FanFictionDownloader. It’s a Windows-based program, but I have successfully used it on a Mac thanks to Wine. It recently updated to version 4, which has loads of improvements and removed a lot of what bugged me about the program (mainly the huge multiple chapter links in every single chapter.) There’s also an experimental web-based version worked extremely when I tried it.
To use FanFictionDownloader, download and install it on Windows. If you’re on a Mac or Linux, you’ll either need to use Wine or the web-based version. Using Wine takes a bit of patience, and if you’re not comfortable with the tinkering needed to get it to work, stick with the web-based version. It does a great job converting fic, and I’m very happy with it.
Copy the URL of the first chapter of the story you want to download, then hit the check button next to the URL. This will input information about the story into middle section of the program. Select the chapters you want to download and the output format. Since there’s 14, you can tailor it specifically to the e-Reader that you own. You can choose to save the entire story to a single file (my preferred method) or have a different file per chapter. This option is best suited for unrelated one-shots that are published as a collection.
FanFictionDownloader supports several other archives in addition to Fanfiction.net. A full list can be found here and what you’ll need to look out for based off your selected archive.
The next tutorial will cover how to use Calibre to tweak e-books, convert them, and add meta-data.

Reading actual books when fanfiction exists is one of the hardest things in the world—how am I supposed to enjoy something that doesn't have Remus Lupin in it?
