In the current canon, Damian wants to leave Robin's position and move into the medical field, unlike his older brothers who are vigilantes in adulthood. It's quite therapeutic for him and I think it's a good ending.

so i’m currently working at a law firm and the other day one of the attorneys was talking to me and he mentioned that he’s “not very confrontational” and i was like you are?? a lawyer???

and he said “yeah but in court there are rules. i can argue with some shmuck in a suit in front of a judge no problem, but when i leave the courthouse and go home i’m not gonna argue with my wife about dinner. there are no rules in our kitchen. i would die.”

It’s her senior year at Arcadia Oaks High when suddenly Claire finds the Amulet of Daylight becoming the first human trollhunter.

In this AU, think of Claire as the gorgeous punk introvert and Jim as the golden retriever extrovert.. he can cook, do first aid, super kind, tall and handsome?! every girls dream right? and Claire’s (not so) secret crush.

She’s friends with Toby early on because of their amazing sibling chemistry and Toby’s natural charisma— he likes to help (and tease) her with her little crush on Jim.

Eventually you can imagine our iconic trio together fighting stony crime: trollhunter claire, warhammer toby, and shadow magic jimmy jam

You know what I love about miraculous?

Most shows like that have huge stakes. The goal is to save the world, to save a whole group of people, to stop the end of existence, etc.

But the entire point of miraculous is to save a single person.

The only reason the Wish is bad is because of the consequences. For every action there is an equal reaction. Stop a natural disaster, another one happens in its place. Make someone talented, someone else's talent is taken. Bring someone back to life, and someone else will die.

If Gabriel brought back Emilie, someone else would die. That is the singular thing powering Marinette and Adrien through all of that. Because one person. One. Person. Will die.

Granted, they didn't know that was what Gabriel would use the wish for. It's almost ironic, really. They put in so much effort, destroyed Paris multiple times, all in an effort to save some random stranger. But still, when Marinette found out, she didn't waver. Not really.

It says a lot about the show. The stakes weren't that high. The casualties would be one, singular. It is different from so many other shows, and it's one of the things that makes it so much a masterpiece.
