Miscellaneous Lunar Café art. The left are style tests. I’ve pretty much figured out how Eden looks, but Tobias seems to change every time I draw him. The right is a really nice colored sketch of Tobias putting up paper lanterns at the start of an event. The twilight is warming the sky behind him.

An animation I made for Eden and Tobias. Eden and Tobias meet up after not seeing each other for years. Eden’s ex wouldn’t let him hang out with Tobias bc Eden would "give him more attention than her." Over time, he stopped seeing Tobias all together. After breaking up with his girlfriend, Eden goes to visit his old friend again. This is before Eden opens the café.

Amari is the last addition to the Lunar Café cast! She is a senior in high school and works at the café with Cecil. She wants to go into the STEM field after graduation and loves classical music.

Introducing Cecil! He’s a senior in high school who works at the Lunar Café part time :} He loves history and his pet rhinoceros beetle.

Eden trying to help his antisocial friends make friends.

While Lenny has some other friends, Tobias has no one other than Eden so Eden has taken it upon himself to find at least ONE other person Tobias can consider a friend.

Surprise surprise it was a success, more or less.

Eden shuts the café door behind him and locks it.

“Oh! Are you the owner of the café?”

Eden's ears perk up, and he turns, hands still on the door, to see a gecko standing there looking up to meet his eyes. He hooks the keys on his pants and holds his hand out to her.

“I am! The name’s Eden!” The cream and brown gecko shakes his hand smiling.

“It's nice to meet you Eden. I'm Rosa. I just bought the building next door.”

Still holding her hand in a shake, Eden looks up at the building Rosa gestured to. The plastic tarps and collected dust from months of abandonment are visible through the display window.

“Oh! Are you opening up the shop?” Eden let's go and puts his hands in his pocket to warm them up; the morning, spring air reveals every breath he exhales.

“Yes, I'm opening a plant nursery.”

Eden's eyes light up.

“Really? I love plants! I have so many that I've started to keep some in the café to make room at home,” Eden chuckles.

“I hope you'll be one of my first customers,” Rosa winks, “I might even give you a discount in exchange for a cup of coffee.”

“Sounds like a good deal to me,” the corners of Eden's eyes wrinkle as he smiles. Large, white canine teeth are bared in a genuine grin. Rosa laughs and smiles back. It's impossible to not smile when Eden smiles at you.

The two shop owners exchange phone numbers and say goodbye. Rosa goes into her new shop, a day of cleaning and organizing ahead of her, and Eden turns into the adjacent alleyway and up the stairs to his house above the café.

Q: What kind of novel are you writing?

Tobias: Murder Mystery, 1800s, Agatha Christie inspired. Love isolated mysteries.

Q: Is the red natural? It looks nice! ^^

Tobias: Yes, it’s natural and thank you (//>//<//)

Get to know Bruce

Q: Favorite food ♡3♡

Bruce: Radishes or spicy ramen for sure! I can’t pick TToTT

Q: Favorite season?

Bruce: Spring! It’s still chilly enough to wear hoodies, but there are so many beautiful colors! (Plus it’s radish season :})

Q: Any hobbies?

Bruce: Other than graphic design, I love reading comic books and most recently cooking. Though cooking is something I’m not particularly good at, I find it very relaxing and enjoyable.

Q: What is your favorite art medium?

Bruce: There is the obvious digital art where I use my trusty drawing tablet. But for traditional art, I love markers. The cheaper the marker, the better.

Get to know Amelia!

Q: Do you go to the Lunar Café Miss Amelia? If so, what is your favorite drink?

Amelia: Not as often as I would like. With school and parent permission, I’ve picked Ezra up a couple of times before school from there though. I think his uncle owns it if I’m not mistaken. When I do get something it’s a chai latte with some espresso. Flavor varies depending on my mood.

Q: Any hobbies? Favorite season? ♡^_^

Amelia: I love crafting! Anything from hand puppets to scrapbooking ^^ As for seasons, definitely fall! Cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and new students to meet! Plus I can see my old students again and how much they’ve grown.

Mel: Die Young by Kesha, hands down. In my vocal range and great to sing full volume to.

Macaroni: What makes you think I would ever partake in something as silly as karaoke?

Mel: He always does Fancy by Twice.

Macaroni: How. Dare you.

Meet Volu!

Q: Hi!!Question: how do you feel about… crocs (The shoes)?

Volu: Comfort and you can decorate them?? I mean the answer is obvious. Though they cost a fortune so I’m happy with my off-brand pair that’s lasted me just as long and are just as comfy.
