okay, but can we stop posting the forgiveness sequel to fanfics where the reader was hit by the character when they got too angry? then act as if that's totally okay and dandy?

cause it's not. a punch, a slap, or an intentional insult, etc. these are all part of abusive acts. if you're writing about toxic relationships, tag it as such. include the fact that it's not okay to overlook your abusers action and write it off as a silly slide of hand in your author's note section.

do what you must to inform your readers that what you're writing about is not acceptable and how they should be aware of that.

Hi I haven't been posting on here in a while because what a growing number of people expect from tarot readings is very odd and bizzare these days. Many questions make uncomfortable, and theres alot of readers who even encourage the weird ass questions too. I honestly think many people get into tarot, start selling readings without having any standard of whats appropriate and end up in the deep end. Theyre immature or lack ethics. And yes ethics matter when it comes to tarot readings, you have a responsiblity to be careful about what you say and what questions you accept. the increase of people wanting readings on celebrites and crushes theyve never met not just from personal readings but pacs as well is concerning. Its weird. Why are we enabling peoples delusional parasocial attachments

Not to mention how entilted people are when it comes to free readings. When i offer them, i do as many as possible and move on with my life. You arent entitled to anything free. 11 tips to help you get it together and get that A

❥ study in intervals. don't underestimate the power of good breaks to keep you motivated to push forward. a 5-10 minuets break gives you enough energy to go on.

❥ make studying fun. this is very self-explanatory, but try to make your studying more pleasing to do. for example, you can buy a cute set of highlighters or pens or take notes in a notebook that looks nice to you.

of course, be mindful of your money and your budget. you don't have to buy expensive stationary to study well.

❥ break it down. divide your task into smaller goals. a general goal such as 'study biology' can seem daunting. However, if you break it down to 'study chapter one' and 'study chpater two' and so on makes it appears to be more achievable.

❥ find your studying style. everyone has a unique way of studying. some are visual learners or auditory learners. some learn by rewriting what they studied in their own words. try different techniques and see which makes you more efficient and stick with it.

❥ reward yourself for reaching a goal. the reward doesn't have to be anything big. maybe a piece of chocolate for completing a chapter or a cup of your favorite tea after finishing a page of your essay. make sure the reward matches the goal's size. the bigger of a goal you managed to achieve, the bigger the reward.

I read this and tried to understand it as best as I can. it's certainly an interesting pov to discuss.

first, I'd like to mention one part of this is that you said YOU would be fine if someone did a general reading on YOU. that's you and not someone else. I think just because you are fine with it doesn't mean everyone else has to be fine, too.

and regarding the rumor or truth thing you mentioned. further down, you said energies are unstable, and misinterpretation can happen. I don't know how many warnings you put on your posts or stuff, but what I know is that some people take these readings as absolute truths no matter what you do or what you say. now imagine, you might've channeled sth wrong about a situation, and now there's someone out there who's fully convinced that you're the one who's right. I hope you can see my point of view.

I think debunking rumors can be done on a ground of rationality and drawing assumptions. no need to involve tarot.

second, you also mentioned how you do reading to know about the person's ideal partner and stuff to see whether they lied and to be cautious or not. listen, I just don't believe being so involved with your faves to the point you think it's your obligation to discern their characters as a whole. again, you might've channeled it wrong. you might've been fed the wrong information. and in case you never meet this person, you've already formed a prejudice against them.

third, other people aren't our tools. I get it I truly do that you want to become better in your divination and become more accurate for your future goals! but you have to understand that what you're doing involves other people and their reputation.
