You know something we don’t get taught often?  Why bodies with uteri often have a slight pouche. You wanna know why? Because the uterus leans against the outside wall of the abdominal cavity. The uterus is literally making that little pouche, the belly that we call fat all the fucking time, and that’s why it’s so fucking hard to get a absolutely flat belly! Im honestly not understanding where the disconnect is…like why do men undervalue platonic relationships with women? if a woman is not into you sexually or romantically but wants to be your friend why is that seen as some sort of cheap consolation prize….also theirs the gross thing that men do where they take you (as a woman) saying “no, i just wanna be friends” as some sort of challenge, or obstacle to be overcome…like they’ll be your friend with the motive of convincing you that your feelings were wrong and that you do actually have romantic feelings for them.

of course, the irony about this cartoon - which I assume is meant to demonstrate shallow selfie culture desecrating the great classics - is that among other things a) hamlet is a disaffected young man suffering from depression and, frankly, deeply self-absorbed and b) the entire play is obsessed with the idea of performance and performativity and so absolutely hamlet taking selfies would be in the spirit of the original because a selfie is a new way of constructing the self through images

so what I’m saying is: fuck off culture snobs I’m coming for you
