A poll that will take Tumblr by storm. It is our goal to start a war of 2014 proportions on this site. We have all had it too easy for too long.
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.
Note
what ships were disqualified? i thought the rule was that anything goes
We received multiple submissions of the Evergiven ship, which was stuck in the Suez Canal for some time a few years back. We do not consider this a valid entry; as stated in our previous post, nautical ships are not the goal.
There was also a submission for the concept of "x readers", with the logic that they are shipping the reader with a character. After discussion, we decided this does not follow the spirit of the competition, as "x readers" are a different sort of fandom issue than true ship arguments. There were concerns that it might sway the results without truly belonging in the poll, so we have disregarded that submission as well.
Any further submissions with two or more fictional characters or real people, not counting the concept of a reader, will be accepted.

Getting There
Hello all. We are pleased to announce that the form has obtained 123 submissions so far, with 92 unique entries. This leaves 36 more unique entries before the form will be closed. For fairness reasons, some responses have been disqualified.
To clear any confusion: the term "ship" here applies to the concept of two or more fictional characters (or, occasionally, real people) in a relationship. We are not looking for real nautical vessels, such as the Evergiven or Titanic. We apologize for the lack of clarity.

Note
are people allowed to submit multiple ships per person? like could i put multiple answers into the form?
Yes, users are welcome to submit multiple different ships to the form. There is no way for us to determine if a single user is submitting the same ship multiple times, but we would like to discourage this behavior, as it is unsportsmanlike.

An update
Our thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in the competition and those who are waiting patiently. The Google Form has reached 100 entries. Although not all of them are unique, and in fact, there are many repeats, this is still a milestone. As a reminder, the tournament will be ready to begin once we reach 128 unique contestants.
We ask for your continued patience while we bide our time. We have not forgotten about this blog.

Important Announcement:
Regarding this blog,
We have been informed that there are many other blogs currently running polls with similar goals to ours. We were unaware of these contests when this blog was made, and as such, believed this was the right time to move forward with our plans. Now, with the knowledge that many other polls with a similar concept are being run, we have decided to postpone our investigation. While it is true that not all of these similar polls operate on the same rules that we had planned- namely, that there would be no rules at all- the fact of the matter is that, should all of these be run at the same time, it would likely be overwhelming. We seek unbiased (or, perhaps, the most biased) results, and as people are venting their frustrations elsewhere, the poll we would be running here would not receive the amount of commitment we had desired.
As such, we have halted plans to run this competition for now. We will resume at a later date, once our fellow poll runners are finished, and the masses are once again seeking outlets. Our submissions will remain open in the meantime, and will be closed when the previously stated amount of contestants is reached. Please feel free to continue spreading our original post, so that it may reach as many eyes as possible. Our inbox is also open for any questions.
This competition is not cancelled. We plan to run it as intended, at a future point in time.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We shall see you again.

Have you ever seen a ship that made you boil with rage?
Greetings.
After months of observation over tumblr's newfound ability to create polls, we have observed many people creating interesting and unique ways to utilize this new post format. We have created this blog to further fill this niche, as well as answer a question:
What is the worst ship on Tumblr?
This is a question that has confounded experts for decades. Wars have been waged over this concept. Blogs have been deleted. People, harassed; lives, ruined. And yet that simple question has yet to be answered. We here, on this blog, seek to answer this question, once and for all.
The rules are simple: submit, in the following form, your absolute, most hated ship. Anything goes. Is it horrible, or annoying? Is it popular, or is there personal stake? Multifandom, multimedia, canon or non-canon, all submissions are welcome. They will be ranked by how many votes are submitted- the more people complain about a ship, the more likely it will be selected.
The participant count will be capped at 128 unique entries. As of April 29th, there is no set date for the tournament. An announcement shall be made once preparations are complete.
