it has been a hot minute but im taking a moment to do some gardening in a slightly different environment of sadx, a game that i own. no you cannot see the disc :)

anyway look at my lastest fellas, balatro and woker (im forced to name them myself due to a lack of fortune telling)

determining their grades will also take a moment, frm gaining one level balatro's swim seems to be in the E/D range and woker's is probably an A though it could also be an S. i'll have to keep a record of their stat gains per level to be sure about these which kinda sucks but ngl the challenge in it is also kinda fun

this also gives me some extra garden space should i need it which is always fun to have!

thyme pulled through and we have all chao race emblems now wahoo!

the peridot race was a small struggle and karate got a little close too but we did it and don't have to worry about these anymore :D

NAGOSHI and rocky grew up and had some eggs to inch resting results

bingo fucks. there are Es in his dna but he did get the S in run whichbis great. he also has the pink color but rng decided he should look red

bubbles issss. well. might have an S or A in stamina? obviously i can't tell which it is

i think i'll mix these two until i get a shiny pink baby, hopefully with good visible genes

went ahead and bred chop and spike and got really lucky with the visible genes with this guy! meet droopy

he also has a brother in chapon who could have an A in fly but i can't exactly check for that

not sure where to go with the two of them but i can worry about that after i get them evolved and whatnot

good lord i spend almost an hour resetti g the tiny chao garden in search for a topaz egg and got none, i think i saw every egg except that and the garnet one :( my luck is being really wack with this

a little breeding memo for myself while im musing who to pair next

chop and spike have a good chance for an above average spread with B/C, A/B, A/C, C/D, B/D being the highest available combo. visible A in fly and A or B in run would be required to know the exact genes and i might want to go for that tbh

NAGOSHI and rocky will be paired regardless of rocky's wacky double E's so i have a guaranteed coloration on an offspring. i could get two eggs out of them and mix those for a chance at a better spread and two shiny genes also? double pink would be cool as well but im not gonna have a way to check either

kosmo and dixie are another potential pair but i would have to have the visible genes be the best of the outcome to make sure i don't end up making the stats worse

thyme can breed either with other jewel chao if i get that topaz egg i've been eyeing sorta or with a shiny pink chao which i'll have to squeeze out of NAGOSHI and rocky

not sure how i'll go about breeding these boys, i imagine chop will take priority and hopefully he can fix up some less fortunate genes. fingers crossed

i went back and picked up a pink egg that showed up and here's rocky he's uhh

oh and the market happened to stock a shiny red egg so meet NAGOSHI the first member of my DIY shiny pink plan

respectable stats too i enjoy having a run stat the doesn't suck :)

the results are. inch resting. here are kosmo and dixie whose genes are largely similar with D/E, A/?, D/D, E/C and S/B. both have the potential to have an S in fly but it could just as well be a B and i have no way of telling which it is

im unsure where to go with these two now, i think breeding them with choco for a chance in S/S in stamina could be cool possibly? but it could just as well damage their other stats further. gonna have to think about this a bit

ok im looking at the chao island gallery of shiny jewel chao atm. pink and purple give some of the best results but require emblem grinding to set up. however! red ones are also quite neat, they appear green and just slightly transparent and i think i vibe with that. the new plan is to get a pink chao and shiny red chao and breed those for a shiny pink chao. the genes will be a little fucky unfortunately but i think i can deal with that, as long as both involved colors vibe well the end result could be either tbh. time to fry some egg yeehaw

emblem grind is not kind and im starting to wonder if it'd be easier to just breed a shiny chao with a pink chao and hope i get lucky with the breeding rng... hrngh

oof my first egg set doesn't contain the pink egg which means i gotta get to 160 emblems to unlock the shiny pink egg i need for breeding... might take tonight to grind some of those out
