Johnny frowns, eyes empathetic as he pulls the prince closer. He gently coaxes the other to lay down, resting Vassago’s head on his lap as he gently runs his claws through the taller demon’s head feathers.

“No matter what happens, I’ll stick by ya, Vass. I know I’m not ideal marriage material, especially with how things work for Goetia…but even if worst comes to worst, I won’t leave.” Johnny said, before glancing to the side shyly.

“So long as ya don’t want me to, I mean.”

Something about the tall stranger’s nonchalant dismissal of his sarcasm seemed to unbalance the coyote sinner, enough that his narrowed brows relaxed into a look more akin to confusion.

“Uh…yeah, it would be. I kinda think that’s where the sayin’ comes from.” He said, placing his hand on the back of his neck.

Shit-he never knew how to talk to the Goetia. Though really, it hadn’t ever been much of an issue, considering none really spoke to him.

What would Hellish nobility have to say to a dirt poor sinner, after all?

Seeing the Goetia woman looking under the hood, Johnny let out a self depreciating scoff, “S’my own fault, really. Old girl should’ve hit the scrapyard last year, but I just couldn’t bring myself to let her go yet.” Johnny said, before lightly tapping the front right tire with his boot.

“Seems she’s making the choice herself, though.” Johnny, seeming to finally feel the humor in the situation, let out a soft chuckle, glancing up at his red-eyed companion with a wry grin.

“Bit of a bitchy move on her part, timin’ her resignation like that.”

About ready to dial a tow truck, Johnny seemed genuinely floored by the offer to take him to town, looking up at his new acquaintance with more than a little skepticism.

Why would a pretty Goetia babe help him out-him, some sinner wearing jeans with holes in the knees and who had an oil stain on the bottom of his white tank top?

…but he did need to get home. Rippa would be getting hungry soon.

So, with not a little bit of nerves, Johnny cleared his throat and risked a look up at the taller demon.

“Yea-I mean uh, y-yes! That would be really sweet, actually. I would appreciate that, Miss-“

Realizing he was making more of an ass of himself, Johnny quickly stick his not burnt hand out.

“Shit, I’m bein’ rude. Name’s John, John Fitz. People that find me bearable call me Johnny.”

“Sonovabitch!”

Johnny‘s sweat rang out in the darkness of the night, as he pulled his burnt hand from the inner workings of his car. The damn thing had started smoking, and he’d pulled over to take a look at it.

(Not that it was surprising-his talents with machines was the only reason the junker still ran at all, even with occasional break downs.)

Bringing his burnt knuckles to his mouth and sucking the wound grumpily, Johnny glanced over, eyes narrowing.

Johnny's ears perk up, as he feels soft arms wrap around his shoulders. The corners of his lips quirk up and are a full blown grin by the time the back of his head hits Spektra's soft chest plummage. "Aww, ya do know how to make a guy feel wanted." the sinner says, reaching his arms up to wrap them around his girlfriend's torso as best he can. The teasing words about losing clothes earns her a rather naughty smirk, and he lets out a low chuckle. "Keep it up, and I'll start thinkin' ya just want me for my body and not my glowin' personality." he teased, before leaning up to steal a kiss from her beak before pulling away. "Though for a bodacious babe like you, I would happily settle for bein' brainless eye candy, if it meant I got to keep hangin' with ya." he said, voice filled with humor as he turned around, pulling Spektra into his lap.

Just to I know ya aren't just tryin' to get me to let my guard down for some nefarious reasons."
