the first time eddie visits your home, if you have a dog, he will absolutely toss you to the side and baby talk the animal and just lay in the floor with them

alternatively if you have a cat, he will play with their toys and let them climb all over him (if you have a kitten it may or may not end up being carried around in his jacket pocket the entire time he’s at your house)

THOMAS made his way up the driveway, the gravel crunching under his old work boots. He’d walked home after a long day of helping Luda Mae unload boxes and such at the store while also keeping the bikers away. She allowed him to leave early since he’d done such an amazing job all day, plus she knew the two of you hadn’t seen each other much all week cause of chore or work schedules.

The light in the kitchen window let Thomas know everything was alright; the week was over and he had alone time with you for the next few hours till Hoyt, Monty or Luda got home. He treasured every moment he got with you even if it was a minute or less. He was hopelessly in love with you—the person that treated him like he was the best man alive, despite his daily actions or looks.

Thomas got to the porch, being greeted with a closed screen door but open front door. You were airing out the house as you cooked—Thomas could smell everything, making him even happier that he could share a warm meal with his lover.

He opened the screen door gently as to not startle you, shutting it with the same ease. Thomas made his way to the kitchen, smiling when he saw you tossing an oven mitt to the side. You made eye contact with him and audibly squealed.

You ran towards him, his arms grateful to embrace and squeeze you. “I missed you so much, Tommy.”

“I missed you too,” he whispered. Thomas pressed a kiss to your head from behind his mask. He let you go, watching you go to the table and pull out a chair.

“Sit, sit. You’ve been on your feet all day, honey. Dinner’s nearly ready, I’ll make your plate.”

Thomas took a seat at the table, putting his arm around your waist to pull you close. He rested his head against your stomach. You smiled and pet his hair lovingly. “Is it alright if I take off your mask?”

Hesitantly, he nodded. You undid the buckle at the back of his head and stepped away from him to slip it off, smiling. “You’re so handsome, Tommy.” You felt his smile against your skin. “Let me make sure things’re ready and I’ll make you a plate, alright?”

He let you go, watching as you stirred a couple pots and lifted a paper towel off a plate. You quickly made Thomas a plate with everything you made on it—fried “steak”, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a bit of fried okra—and sat it in front of him next to the fork. “Do you want some tea? Or water?”

“Water, please,” he mumbled. Before you could get back with his water he’d already started eating, making you smile.

You put the glass down and ran your hand through his hair, kissing his forehead. “I have something special for you in the fridge, sugar. It’s ready and waiting on you.”

Thomas grunted, glancing at you as he still held his fork. He looked at the chair next to him then back at you. “Baby, you worry about eating, I’ll join in a second. I need to fry these livers for Hoyt so he stops bothering me about it.”

You could tell Thomas was sad that you didn’t immediately sit and eat with him but understood why. He’d look back at you cooking every now and then, looking away quickly when he saw you heading towards him with a plate. “Alright, done with most of them.” You stated as you began eating. “I’ll finish the rest after I spend some time with my love.”

Thomas smiled, causing you to smile. He switched the hand that held his fork and placed it on top of your right. “I love you.”

“I love you too, Tommy.” You leaned over and kissed his cheek then continued eating. “How was your day? How about your week? I feel like we haven’t talked in a while.”

You heard him let out a rasped chuckle. “Good. You?”

“Also good. I missed you during the day though. I forgot you weren’t home earlier and went to the basement to ask what you wanted for dinner,” you laughed. Thomas smiled. “Is this alright?”

He nodded. “‘s great.”

You loved that Thomas was comfortable talking to you, even if it was just a few words here or there. The two of you sat in a comfortable silence, eating and enjoying one another’s company.

Thomas finished way before you did, looking you over until you put your fork down and let out a defeated sigh. “Damn, whoever made that was a damn good cook.” Your words made Thomas smile, him nodding in agreement. “You save room for your surprise?”

He nodded. You got up with a small groan, going to the fridge and opening it. “I know key lime is your favorite, but I forgot to go get limes after the last pie I made you,” you explained. You took the pie from the shelf and carried it to the table. “So, I made your second favorite: chocolate.”

You saw Thomas’ face light up as you spoke. “I put extra whipped cream on it just for you since we had more than enough.”

“Thank you.” Thomas put an arm around your waist again pulling you close and looking up at you. “C’mere.”

You leaned down, receiving a passionate kiss from him. You smiled into it and out a hand on Thomas’ cheek to deepen it. “Let me get you an extra plate and utensils.”

“Just a plate,” he stated. You did as he said and got just a plate and a pie cutter for him. You looked at him as you gaged how big of a slice he wanted. “You want some?”

“Could I just share some with you for now?”

Thomas nodded. You decided to cut a decent slice, close to a fourth of it and out it on the plate in front of Thomas. He patted his thigh for you to sit.

Once you sat on his thigh, he put his hand on your hip and pulled you closer to him. Thomas wiped his fork clean using the inside part of his apron before starting on the slice of pie. You smiled as you started eating. “Just as good as my key lime pies?”

“Mhm,” he hummed. “Maybe better.”

You kissed his cheek as a thank you, getting a kiss on the neck in return. Once again the two of you ate in silence, Thomas’ hand on your hip sometimes rubbing up and down lightly.

“You think you can finish the rest, big boy?” You said in a joking tone, knowing Thomas thought the pet name was funny.

He nodded in response. “But you’re not going anywhere.”

You laughed. “Tommy, baby, I gotta finish those livers for Hoyt and do the dishes real quick.” You heard a small groan from him. You jokingly sighed. “Fine. I’ll just sit here.”

“Good,” he smiled. The two of you exchanged a kiss before you laid your head on his shoulder as he finished eating. “Can I do dishes?”

“You wanna help? Sure, I’d never say no to that.” You smiled before hopping off his thigh to gather dishes to take them to the sink. “Could you put the pie back in the fridge, please, Tommy?”

He did as you asked before going to your side at the sink to help in any way he could. “I can take over,” Thomas said.

You smiled and reached up to kiss Thomas’ cheek. “Thank you, honey. I’ll finish these up real quick and if you’re not done I’ll help you. The sooner we get this shit done the sooner we can go to the basement or our room and spend time together. That sound good?”

Thomas nodded. “Perfect.”

✰ tells you to get back in the house and wait for him so you can continue; he finally does come in and tells you to start over, listening as he eats dinner

✰ “okay, but, that actually was entertainin’, so, glad i told you to stop outside cause i didn’t hear half’a the shit you said out there.”

— bubba : not a thought in his mind he just likes hearing you talk especially about stuff you enjoy

✰ will let you sit him down at the table like you’re giving some sort of presentation, his eyes gawked at you while he,,, hears you speaking but not understanding what about or why

✰ catches bits and pieces of the story but if you ask if he’s even paying attention he’ll just nod and motion for you to continue

— lester : he’s not real sure what that is but if you like it then he will too

✰ since you started telling him about it on a trip to town, he’ll steal glances of you every now and then to make sure you know he’s listening

✰ “so, all of this is happenin’ in a kids game? damn, that’s cool.”

✰ wants you to go in depth about anything and everything, still listening even once the two of you get to town

✰ “i’m still listenin’, by the way. keep goin’ things were just gettin’ good.”

✰ he’d probably just stare at you like you’re fuckin’ crazy,, BUT he’d still probably listen since he doesn’t want to seem like he’s ignoring you

✰ tilts his head like a puppy if he has a question

✰ gives you a thumbs up or down if you ask him if he gets everything then nods for you to explain again if he doesn’t get something

✰ nods to ensure you he’s still listening to you since when you mentioned violence his interest was piqued

— nubbins : seems more excited than you to hear about it

✰ though, he’ll stop you before you even get started to ask how long it will take since he has to start walking the road to find victims

✰ “woah ! and then what happened? c’mon tell me.”

✰ actually listens to most of it since he finds it interesting, then referring to telling his brothers about it once he gets back to the house

✰ “i ain’t gonna lie, i didn’t expect any of that. but, see, you found it interesting and that’s why i like you as much as i do !”

— tommy : um,, he doesn’t know what you’re talking about but he’ll gladly listen

✰ he really is just like the supportive mom that’ll nod with a smile and have zero clue as to what you’re talking about, but he listens enough to be able to ask questions

✰ writes his questions on his little notepad and slides it to you when you ask if he understands cause he doesn’t want to interrupt you

✰ another thumbs up or down guy cause he wants to be a supportive boyfriend and he definitely would be

✰ he doesn’t really retain anything you told him so you may have to tell him everything again but he tries and that’s all that matters

— vinny : he has multiple questions and definitely wants to play the games after you finish

✰ would probably start off not listening because he’s working then turn on his chair and be fully engaged in your words

✰ raises his finger/hand before he signs or writes down his question if he has one

✰ before you can finish he tells you he wants to play the games (and jokes about making bo play them cause that’d be funny as fuck)

✰ ‘would it be possible for us to play the games together, actually? you seem to know what you’re doing, so, it’d be a cute date,,, right?’

— billy & stu : they’ll make a bag of popcorn and watch you like two children watching cartoons

✰ stu’s the one who inquired you about it and once you mentioned violence, billy happily joined, being even more excited when stu said he would make popcorn

✰ “if you were listening instead of focusing on eating all the popcorn, you woulda heard, dumbass.”

praying no ones done this before so i dont seem like a copy cat ᴖᴥᴖ also i wrote this in like 30 mins just bc so

— bo : catch him about to snap if he misses a spare or gets all but one pin

✰ he grips the remote so hard his hands sweat so hopefully you aren’t having to share a remote with him while doing this

✰ if you suggest giving up he’ll immediately tell you no and continue to get angry

✰ when he gets a strike he’ll yell something along the lines of, “fuck yeah,” or, “I knew I had it in me.”

— brahms : cries if you beat him or he’s losing

✰ if you score better than him in the first frame just be prepared

✰ literally will curl into a ball in the corner and won’t come out till you agree to play again (where you pretend to have gotten worse just to get him over the meltdown)

✰ if he still somehow manages to lose the second time around he tells you he’s never doing that again and goes into the walls for a few days because he’s upset

— jason : actually really good and neither of you were expecting it

✰ probably one of the only ones to give you a challenge

✰ if you get excited when he gets a strike or spare he’ll hug you out of confusion tbh he doesn’t get why you’re excited

✰ will probably suggest another game or to play something else with you since he’s having fun

— michael : doesn’t use the safety strap so he throws the remote at least five times if not six (sometimes on purpose)

✰ he absolutely does not wanna do this; he’d be content watching you play

✰ if he somehow gets a strike after letting go of the remote while throwing the ball, he’ll silently look at you with a, “what now?” sort of look

✰ if he starts getting annoyed that’s when he’ll throw the remote purposely so maybe there’s a chance you’ll dismiss him

— thomas : he’s just confused man

✰ he tries, he tries his hardest since you wanted to do this with him

✰ definitely not good at this at all; doesn’t get that the movement on the ball is based on the way his hand moves but if he manages to get a strike, he’s excited and so are you

✰ if you have to share a remote with him, you have to wipe it off cause his hands sweat horridly when he’s nervous (you tell him it’s okay tho)

— billy & stu : like the twins by focusing on one another but probably get too busy bickering to realize they’re losing

✰ they’re more focused on who’s winning the little insult match tbh (they get distracted by like third frame)

✰ you may have to pause the game to pry billy off stu and stop them from strangling each other or hitting one another with the wii remotes

✰ separately, they’re extremely competitive and aren’t as violent unless you’re violent with them first then it’s on

— chop-top & nubbins : you’re tossed to the side; it’s a fight to the death between them

✰ they’ve definitely played this many many times before so even if you’re pretty good at it they’re still gonna beat your ass

✰ if you somehow manage to get ahead nubbins’ll take the batteries from the remote so you can’t play the next time

✰ if you play them separately, they’ll put up a good fight and in the end will probably win

guitar hero headcanons | eddie munson

guitar hero + eddie brainrot??? i’ll take it ! anyway this is an expansion to my shitpost abt eddie liking guitar hero

pairing(s): eddie munson X reader at the end

warning(s): modern-ish headcanons but eddie still likes the bands he canonically enjoys

✰ forewarning i’m setting aside the fact master of puppets is “Eddie’s song” so he’s not bias towards Guitar Hero Metallica

✰ his favorite games are GHIII: Legends of Rock, GH Warriors of Rock, GH Encore: Rocks the 80s, and GH Smash Hits

✰ enjoys LoR because, like most of the world, it was the game that got him into the franchise plus likes their diversity of songs along with enjoying the boss battles in career mode (his favorite is Slash; it would be Lou’s but he HATES it after having to replay it so much in order to get anywhere near an FC [full combo/perfect play through])

✰ doesn’t have a main in GHIII because he thinks all the characters are sick asf or attractive, but the first time he played the game he chose Casey Lynch

✰ is able to play the intro the through the fire & flames on expert perfectly but is a bit sloppy on the other parts

✰ WoR is specifically rock & metal & punk songs, what’s not to love about it as a metalhead? the game took him the longest to FC but only by a week or so because of how many songs there were + complexity (learned most of them on his guitar just so he could practice his finger movements)

✰ thinks the character-specific powers they added to the game are cool but a bit unnecessary, but will still happily main Warrior Axel in quickplay because he looks similar to Iron Maiden’s Eddie

✰ personal hc: his favorite song in the game is Bloodlines by Dethklok and that’s how he discovered his appreciation for GHII because the demo song Thunderhorse is on it and he had to play through the game to get to it & how he go into the show Metalocalypse [this is just my personal hc idc if you disagree or say he wouldn’t like the show]

✰ Rocks the 80s has a DIO song on it, of course he’s gonna like the game even if some of the other songs are meh to him; grows to like the other songs and shockingly the songs Lonely is the Night & Turning Japanese become two of his top 5 favorite songs for the game

✰ mains Izzy Sparks in GH, GHII, & the 80s for two reasons: he reminds him of Vince Neil + Dee Snider & thinks Izzy in his GH outfit has some level of sex appeal; also thinks that Izzy’s guitar highway is cool

✰ Eddie probably ends up getting GH5 because Lonely is the Night is on it along with more songs/bands he likes (Iron Maiden & Mötley Crüe mostly) plus he likes that they programmed more singers into the game and playable characters

✰ shitpost hc: makes a band of all Kurt Cobain on GH5 and makes him do comedic songs like YMCA when Dustin is over so they can have a good laugh (Dustin becomes a fan of the games bc of Eddie js)

✰ probably only likes Smash Hits because it made up for GHII having to use covers on certain songs (he was sad they had to use a cover of Shout at the Devil, it didn’t hit the same) and since he’d played all the songs before the game was pretty easy to FC in a short amount of time

✰ mains Axel Steel since he reminds Eddie of himself and looks good in the game compared to some of the other games

✰ Eddie enjoys the atmosphere of Smash Hits over some of the original games but also thinks you can’t beat GHIII in any sort of way (however, he likes they used the non-radio edit of Killing in the Name)

✰ was slightly disappointed they didn’t feature Thunderhorse on Smash Hits but understood why

✰ expanded his music taste because of these games and probably learned a few songs on bass because he was experimenting with the games by playing the different instruments available and thought it was cool

✰ the first time he gets 1st place on a song on the leaderboards he takes a picture after freaking out and being proud of himself for a good ten minutes, anytime after that he sees the achievement as one of his greatest and talks about it for the rest of his life

✰ has the full band set of controllers (how he experimented w/ the other playable instruments) because Corroded Coffin plays when they need to practice but don’t want to

✰ likes what they did with GH Aerosmith, GH Metallica, and GH Van Halen since they’re all deemed pioneers of rock & metal and feels they deserved their own games, but also thought GH could’ve possibly done more bands like Iron Maiden or DIO but that’s just his opinion

✰ gives you his copy of GH Metallica (or another game if you’re not that into Metallica) and tells you to keep playing till you’ve FC’d it fully so you guys can have a guitar battle as a date

✰ don’t even speak of GH Live around him, he could go on and on for days about how it ruined & killed the franchise (same)
