She's a member of White Diamond's elite quartz army

I blame @hal-heheh for this - I was on a break, saw I had new followers, saw gem icon, and mmmmmmm I haven’t drawn Rock Ladies in a while…I don’t remember picking up a pencil oops I dropped my markers on lineart! Oh well ;)

For reference, these ladies work with Moon, Vee, Wave, Star Emerald, and Bangs on the Shatterthorn. Gossip and Grape had always been friends, both working under Yellow Diamond; when Rose Quartz announced her Rebellion, they joined up, dissatisfied with the classism - and working where they did, they knew that things were even worse behind closed doors.

They were smuggled out by a Kyanite, who mentored them in using their skills in gossip gathering to spy - and when they nearly lost their mentor to a particularly memorable Peridot and her Ruby, they fused to save her. The new fusion ended up capturing the Blue Court Peridot and her bodyguard, and eventually gaining new rebels. The spy duo, their mentor, and their “prisoners” were assigned to The Shatterthorn about an Earth year before Pink Diamond was “shattered”, and now Wine uses her skills to locate off-color gems and rebels used as power sources, and whisk them away under the cover of “reassignment” - who would question a Sapphire and her Pearl? Or a high-ranking Kyanite? Or a Peridot with the proper documents?

I am officially labeling this AU Rock Ladies - it’s not going to be super regular, but the three new gems I mentioned will be on my to-do list. Enjoy!

Labradorites are unable to absorb a diamond’s essence because their form cant sustain that much power, their physical form would poof. They would also lose their form if they absorb two different essences that dont work together.

After pink was shattered, white creates another one (who will guide original pink's army), but in this case white gonna make sure that this pink colonize and govern strictly

But white doesn' take care that this alternative pink will claim to have the same authority than white's

Hematite

Hematites are mind cleaners for gems who may struggle with Trauma or just negative emotions, that are causing them distress and stopping them from working. Their ability to Get rid of a gems Negative energy’s allows them to free a gems mind of any disturbances. They are semi high ranking gems.

(However a side effect from getting rid of a gems trauma, is that the hematite absorbs it instead, causing them to become distressed overtime. For this most hematites have a spinel with them to help them cheer up)

Hematites in real life are said to help protect against negative energy!

Nope! If no one does I'll probably end up making, Limu/Pele, Pele's Seaweed and Pele's Tears on my own haha

Edit: Limu/Pele and Pele's Seaweed are the same thing

Corals protect and uphold underwater spires and temples. They defend from any organics or rebels who try to infiltrate them and attack. They are aristocratic gems.

Behold! The lustrous, dazzling Purple Diamond!

She symbolizes culture, and high class. While White is the one in charge of creating pearls, Purple also helps design appearance modifiers for them. She likes to spend her time on moon bases. Purple's cape purposely hides her appearance, to make herself look mysterious. The fact that you only see her silhouette is an artistic choice. She still wears the outfit on the left under her cape though.

One down, 4 more to go! (Btw I'm considering swapping green and cyan, so those might change in the future)

QQ is made of 4 gemstones, a natural fusion. I had the idea that they worked on finding use for shards. On Era 3 they would reverse the job via reconstructing shattered gems.
