For the Fall/Winter 2015 collection, designer Jacquemus collaborated with German artist Sebastian Bieniek to recreate his surreally drawn faces from the series “Doublefaced.” Inspired by childishness, arts & crafts and innocence, Jacquemes hinted at a scene of a daughter playfully experimenting with her mother’s makeup. This two-faced effect creates a trompe l’oeil - it is easy to get lost staring into this image wondering where reality meets fantasy and vice versa. This backstage moment was photographed by Erin Baiano.
