Press Statement from Mayor Luke Matthews Saturday, July 24, 2021
Good evening, Port Cado,
This has been a trying week for us all, but by now you’ll have heard the good news that power has been restored in Morrell Point and Leroy Bay. This comes from the great work done by tireless workers on the ground. I give my thanks to those who put long hours into fixing this egregious issue and bringing light where there was darkness.
Darkness was not just a result of the lack of power, however. Rioting and violence on our streets has made it clear that we are not doing enough to keep our city safe. Crime will not be tolerated in our city. Violence will not be tolerated in our city. And so to combat this, our police force will remain vigilant in our least safe neighborhoods.
In addition to this, we’ll be enacting a curfew for both Dominants and subimssives in Morrell Point and Leroy Bay starting at 9:00pm. Patrols will be looking for anyone who defies this curfew. Anyone found outside after that time will receive a night in jail and a $1000 fine. This will remain the case until it is clear that there has been a marked decrease in crime in these neighborhoods.
In all of this, we must think about all of our submissive citizens and their safety. They are most at risk, especially in these neighborhoods. For this reason, curfew for all submissives in Port Cado will be moved to 9:00pm.
Please know that all we do, we do for your safety and for the betterment of our city. Stay safe, Port Cado.

Press Statement from Mayor Luke Matthews Saturday, July 17, 2021, 5:00pm
Good evening, Port Cado.
Today, the city of Port Cado began its planned rollout of blackouts throughout the city, as recommended by the Port Cado Energy Authority. This is in an effort to mitigate strain on our infrastructure caused by this heat wave. I understand many of you in Morrell Point and Leroy Bay have still not regained power. Due to unforeseen technical issues, there is no certainty when electricity will be restored. Know that we have our best workers doing all they can to restore power as soon as possible.
It has come to my attention that violence has begun within these communities. We hear you and we understand your frustration. However, violence will not be tolerated in Port Cado. To keep our city safe, there will be additional patrols in Leroy Bay and Morrell Point. If the violence does not stop, we will have no choice but to put up roadblocks for the safety of us all.
During this time, citizens, I remind you that the curfew for submissives is still in place at 10:00pm. Stay safe, and know that we are doing all we can to mitigate this difficulty.
