i wish you roses

from the moment you and rafe started dating, he knew you were special. so to prove how special you were, he got you roses every time your old roses would start to droop.

rafe was such a sweet guy to you, and you were forever grateful for him and everything he does for you. he’s smile brightens up every room he walks in and you can feel his presence the moment he walks into a room.

you were sitting at your chair backstage as the stylists got your makeup and hair done. rafe had already texted you that he was on his way.

you and your agent have been going back and forth about you making sure you do good on the runway and straighten out your posture when you walk.

you were heated to say the least.

“i don’t want to end this season on a bad note. i mean, look at me. do you really think i give a damn?” that’s all it took for your agent to stop talking and end the conversation there. you were used to getting your way.

this agent was hard on you, and you already had a great runway walk. luckily you have other agents.

rafe walks back stage and you turn around instantly cause you already know who’s behind you. he smiles at you and you melt away. “your smile could light up a planet, rafe” he chuckles, leaning down to peck your lips not once, but twice.

he’s hiding something behind his back, a smirk on his face as he pulls pink roses from behind his back.

“roses!” you gasp, squealing and standing up to hug him. “thank you rafey, my other ones were staring to die!”

“i pay attention to things that most people ignore, baby” he kissed your cheek and hands you the roses before your stylists sit you back down and continue getting you ready. the new pink roses sit on the vanity so you can take them home after the show.

rafe leaves to go sit in the audience of the runway, he’s always there to watch his girl whether it’s her modeling or doing a pageant.

after your makeup and hair is done, you slip into a button up shirt with just one of the buttons hooked, the middle one – which is covering your tits since you aren’t wearing one for the sake of the show. it’s a white button up, as well as a white skirt.

you watch the other girls in line before you start to walk on the runway, you clap from the back stage as they turn to come back. doing touch ups to your outfit, hair, and makeup quickly before you go on. such as jewelry, lipgloss, and combing through your beautiful hair.

you finally start to walk, people looking you up and down to scan your outfit. you see rafe looking at you in the corner of your eye. you glance over at him and give him a sly wink.

you’ve turned back around now, walking back up the runway and into the backstage. you sit at your vanity and wait for all the girls to finish their walk.

rafe doesn’t stay in the audience, he gets up out of his seat after you walk up and down the runway. you see him appear in the backstage in your parallel vision. “thank you for the roses rafe, you’re very sweet”

“of course baby, i wish you roses.”
