So I've been thinking, and I decided to rewrite and republished my Heartstopper One shots, on AO3 ! I'm gonna work on the timeline to fix a few errors, add some new chapters I'm currently working on, correct the grammatical and vocabulary errors etc...

I'll drop the link here once the first rewrite is published !

Also if a British folk here is interested in being a beta reader, I'll gladly accept some help, as English is not my first language !

hey remember when Aled Last said "there's this idea that if you're not straight, you have to tell [people] immediately, like you owe it to them. but you don't. you don't have to do anything until you're ready" and Charlie Spring said "you didn't just force yourself because I'm out already?" and Tara Jones said "don't feel like you have to come out to anyone before you're ready" and Nick Nelson said "I'm not saying I want to have a public announcement, but I want to tell the people who matter" and when Geoff explained that Charlie getting outed was a trauma?

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for all your support for Heartstopper this year!

Since going on hiatus from the comic, I have been incredibly busy with the release of the Netflix show, then writing season 2 in an extremely short timeframe, and also creating the Heartstopper Yearbook. I want to be honest with you all and let you know that my health is not great right now. Due to extreme overworking, stress, and a lack of breaks over the past several years, I am dealing with some mental and physical health issues, and therefore I am not yet able to return to making the comic.

The hiatus will continue while I try to rest and heal, so that I can come back to the comic with energy and passion for the story. 

From the bottom of my heart I am sorry that the comic has been absent for so long. It makes me want to cry whenever I think about how long it’s been. I am very proud of the TV show, and I am in love with how season 2 is shaping up, so I hope the sacrifice was worth it. I promise I will try to heal so that I can return to the comic in 2023.
