What to do and not what to do that affects mental health on a daily basis!!!
Hello, you lovely people tonight is my final blog for a while now I will be still posting pics and quotes I know all these lockdowns have been hard and difficult so I hope use have enjoyed reading my blogs hope it brought you some positive vibes and helped you through the day knowing your not alone during all these lockdowns I’ve been struggling with all these lockdowns myself and struggling with remote learning and mental health struggles each day I spend in lockdown. This blog is about sharing tips on how to control your mental health daily and what not to do that will trigger your mental health and well-being.
Things to do control your mental health daily?
1. Exercise – clears your mind and improves your mental health.
2. Socialise - with friends/family.
3. Have a good laugh – improves your moods and emotions.
4. Get a great night’s sleep – improves motivation and gives you more energy! Throughout the day.
5. Make your day productive – keep the mind focused and reduces more time to sit and think about things or be stressed.
6. Find a hobby or do something that you enjoy doing that makes you happy – reduces stress and moods.
Things to avoid doing that will affect your mental health and wellbeing daily?
1. Alcohol - It is usually a good idea to completely avoid alcohol. Or cut back. Alcohol affects your mental health if you drink too much.
2. Negativity. We all have people in our lives who do not support or understand our illness. We do not need them. They can cause stress and trigger relapse. Stick with the people you trust!
3. Isolating yourself - Important to never Feel alone or isolating yourself from people it can trigger depression, anxiety, and negative thoughts.
4. Not taking care of yourself – leads to bad hygiene and can also cause bacterial infections if you don’t look after your personal hygiene and if you don’t look after your health you will learn to not love yourself or be happy in your own body and skin and let yourself go and wont care about how you look and that will take a massive affect on your mental health as well as its important to look after yourself this is usually a sign of depression.
take care and stay safe.

how to control and reduce Stress & Anxiety!!!
Hello everyone, how are we all today hope were having a good Tuesday and spreading love and positivity and reaching out to those in need of support and care or just checking on friends and family showing your thinking of them at these hard difficult times will help them feel loved and cared for even though you can’t be with them in person you can virtually will still matter to them as they still get to talk with you and tell you if there having a good day or a bad day. I know were all stressed and your anxiety is sky high I am with use together on that one so you are not alone here I understand how you are all feeling now today I will post some videos on how to deal with stress and anxiety and what to do to control it. I hope it helps as I want to show my support and care to those who may be struggling now as I know were all in this together but reaching out and helping people who need it makes you feel good about yourself and it makes the other person you are helping feel good and love and cared for and appreciated by you. I will post the video links at the bottom of this blog and use can have a look at them on your own time and a hope they are helpful and give you advice on how to control you stress and anxiety.
This video link is very helpful, and it speaks about how to reduce and control stress and anxiety I hope it helps thank you take care stay strong you are not alone.

things to-do during lockdown to help with mental health and remote learning!
I hope you have been having a great week so far and being doing things to help you manage your days better and things to-do to control your mental health and struggles with remote learning.
Routine
It is important to keep to a routine and give your day a positive productive day ahead. A routine makes us feel more in control and when you feel in control, you can cope better and be more focused with the challenges you may face that day.
Things you can do:
–  Try and stick to regular sleeping patterns, going to bed at the same time every night and getting up early same time every morning.
– If you are working from home, make sure you take breaks in between classes or meetings to move and stretch and make sure you stop for lunch.
– Make time for exercise. It could be an online class or just a simple walk.
Breaks for you
Make sure between work or college you have time to yourself in between breaks or when you have free time balance it out between the two its important not to overload your brain with workload and worrying to make sure you do not drain yourself.
Goals
Writing down your goals for the day can help with focus and productivity. The trick here is not beat yourself up if you do not achieve everything. Just move that goal along to the next day.
Exercise
One of the best things you can do for your mental health is to keep active. Those Dark, grey days are not great motivators, but how you will feel afterwards will be amazing mix up those at home with workout sessions online or using workout apps on your phone to keep fit and stay motivated will have great benefits for your mental health.
Eat well
What we consume directly impacts our physical and mental health. The better the foods we eat, the better we feel.
– plan your meals and snacks to pack in those 5 portions of fruit and veg a day.
– Keep hydrated, especially if you are exercising more.
– Avoid excess caffeine and alcohol as these can exacerbate anxiety.
Stay connected
Missing friends, family and just general social interactions with others has a significant negative impact on our wellbeing. It is important to maintain these relationships with friends & family check in with each other and see how they are will make there day better knowing your still thinking of them. Make time each day for that one phone call, or video call.
Support
These hard times are when we should be reaching out, we know how people feel comforted knowing that others are feeling the same as they are. It is normal to feel worried, scared, helpless, stressed, or anxious. It is important to talk about your worries and seek additional help if you need it. This could be with friends, family, your GP, or via one of the great organisations who can offer expert advice.
Switching off
This may sound obvious, but this is something we are all guilty of not doing. Taking time to do things you enjoy and to relax, there is a reset button that we all need to push whenever we can.

Speaking out about Mental Health!
hi there hope your all well and coping well this week I hope you have all had a great weekend and stayed safe and hope you have been managing your mental health as well as you can and trying to keep a positive focused mind and positive vibes. I know this past couple of weeks hasn’t been a positive outcome from the latest update lockdown restrictions I know we are all struggling and fed up with it all I feel the same as you all do but wee just need to think positive and get through this together and see the light at the end of the tunnel as were all this together. I picked to blog about mental health as its important to me and personal and close to my heart. its one of the most important issues out there at the moment along with the fears of catching coronavirus and keeping our family and loved safe I know wee are all scared and worried a lot of you people don’t like talking about your mental health but we should talk about it as its really important to reach seek help to someone you can trust and know they will be there to support you with how your feeling and get you through all of your struggles with anxiety or depression or stress etc. it’s okay not to be okay 100% I know you are all struggling really bad at the moment some of us will have all sorts of emotions like feeling angry, sad, frustrated, I understand how you are all feeling and I can sympathise with that as I am feeling the same. I will be uploading another blog for week 2 on how to keep yourself relaxed and calm during lockdown and to help manging your mental health and I will be posting video links to help you for managing anxiety and de-stressing if you have had a busy day or doing course work or attending college online zoom classes as i know they can be very tiring staring at a screen for hours i hope these blogs help you feel your not alone and I'm here to help anyone out there who need support or advice. feel free to message me if you feel these blogs i post help and the advice and information i share helps.
