HOLYFOX
People can disagree with me, but if we talking about Aarya and Emrys relationship, I think Emrys is the leading one in overall relationship (like dating, conversation, etc) while Aarya is the leading one in bed-
If you know what I mean (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)
P. S. IN ORDER TO NOT GETTING BAN BY TUMBLR, I DECIDED NOT TO POST THE FULL PIC XD
So yeah! No full picture for all of you, h0rny people xD

Bad Endings
On today episode where Marsie keeps talking about Royal Order, we will talk about the bad ending on this game. Today is a short discussion because it's actually very simple XD
[SPOILER UNDER THE CUT]
Iris's Bad Ending CG
On Iris' bad ending, Aarya ended up soiling their relationship with Iris. Seeing there is a no way out to solving Nidhoggr disappearance Aarya then proceeded to sails back to Northern Continent. This bad ending actually breaks my heart and makes me sad for a few days :")
Darryl's Bad Ending CG
On Darryl's bad ending, Aarya ended up soiling their relationship with Darryl because of accepting his proposal instead of trying to get to know each other first. This ended up with Darryl having full melt down and trying to fix his mistake because of trusting Aarya. Reading that makes me want to crumble into pieces :"D
Not only that, but his mother also ended up being in danger because of trying to help him. Seeing no way out, they're trying to subtract Aarya core but sadly ended up being too strong to being subtracts. And all of that ended with Aarya sailing back because peace no longer can be achieve (because they're attacked). The creator also said that Aarya and Darryl will meet up again... but this time on opposing side of the war :"D
Emrys's Bad Ending CG
To be honest, I prefer Emrys's bad ending rather than his good ending because how it changed my brain chemistry. In this bad ending when discovering Nidhoggr being murder, Aarya and Emrys proceed to murder the people who murdered her. Then they're sailing back to Northern Continent to making the Sval taking the blood oath to murder all humans for their wrongdoings about Nidhoggr.
Why do I prefer this ending?? Because how Aarya cold acted. It somehow makes me feels something I rarely feel?? An optimistic war veteran suddenly revert back to their old way makes me feel something?? Ahahahha XD
Also!!
Notice how different Aarya eyes on Emrys's bad ending compared to Iris and Darryl bad ending.
If you see it carefully, compare to Iris and Darryl bad ending, Aarya's eyes on Emrys bad ending completely lost their light. Which is a neat detail where it shows about how Aarya completely lost their trust and hope in humanity when discovering Nidhoggr death and want to avenge her by killing all humans
It's kind of sad if you think about it. Imagine trusting your enemies only to find that said enemies murders your own sister. Not only that, but you actually can also get generic ending on Emrys route. Where Aarya is firstly being prisons before Emrys busted them out because High Council decision to not punish Harald. Imagine trusting your enemies to at least do one right things after your enemies starved you for 2 millennium but they cannot even do that-
How sad...

Human History vs Demon History
Welcome back to Marsie loving this game so much that he replays the game again and again just to make a random comparison or analysis
Let's start today analysis with history!! More exactly how history plays part on the Royal Order World and how different kinds view and uphold those
Started with Human History!!
Let's start with the obvious of how Humans always quick to blame the Sval every time there's a murder happens in this game. This is an immediate reaction when humans starved demons back in ancient times when demons would go insane just for their survival and because they were starving. Because of starvation demons went insane, the same goes for the Sval who become more brutal because of the same thing, so I cannot blame the humans for feeling it
The second one is how humans regard the sval as mere slavers. Instead of thinking of them as demons or magical beasts (since they're half demon, half human), humans regard them as slavers. This is another pointer: humans simply didn't know about the past or the demons well enough. Another example of humans not knowing about the demons is when Aarya gets captured and asks people who interrogate them about what they think of demons, Ven answers that she thought that they were just legends from times long gone.
The last part is how humans' history, what happened to them and what have they done seems to be forgotten. This can be concluded by how Aarya is the one who explains what have happened in the ancient war to their interrogators
Well, if we fast forward a little bit towards the ending, we of course would've known what happened until all the humans forgot about what happened in the ancient war. It simply happened because those knowledge and memories are wiped using magic, leaving humans clueless to the past
Move the demon's side of history, of course, they remember everything. Despite being seen as a brutal way of living in human eyes, for demons, the old ways of living are a normal thing to experience. Every person, no matter how strong or weak, will be eaten one day, and that's totally okay and normal
And different from humans who forgot about the ancient war, every sval, even the youngest in recent days still remembers or still knows about the ancient war. It is probably a direct result because they got the disadvantages since they're starved for a millennium
So, until reaching Aarya's happy ending, every single one of the sval or the demons remembers the ancient war. But the day Aarya reached their happy ending, it is said that demons or svals born after them will no longer remember the ancient war. It is the choice all of them made for the better since they're no longer at a disadvantage.
Seeing how different the humans and the sval remember about history just shows how bitter the world can be. The winning side can just forget about the war and live their way happily without remembering, but the losing side has to bear that history for years because of their disadvantages when losing the war that they were forced to participate in the first place
It's fun to reread the story to learn how different humans and svals are, but at the end of the day, they just trying to survive. But sadly, one of them is on the winning side, and the other is on the losing side.
Also!! it is funny how humans still call demons, "demons", while demons/svals already call scraelings, "humans", despite both of those titles (demon and scraeling) being derogatory titles.
TLDR; Fricking double standards :))
#royal order#otome game#visual novel#sometimes I forgot how I hated humans in this game#until it being brought up again of how cruel they're back in the ancient war#the bad endings is not that bad at all tbh#since the sval and the demons finally got the justice they deserves#but yeah#whatever#I still like all the ending nevertheless#aarya de chabenet

Music Box
Fun fact about Royal Order! You can access all the background music for the game if you access the music box on the game! The Music Box is located at the extra button, simply click it and you will find it.
What catches my attention about the music is that one of the music used in the game is called "Prayer to Baðmur".
Why does this is important to me? If we listen to the music, it will play the music that is always played when we are in intense, scary, or dangerous situations (but not on the battlefield).
If you listen carefully, the song starts with a gloomy tune before escalating into an intense and fiery tune. When those fiery tunes are played, at 01:45 timestamp, you can start to hear people chanting.
But why is this important? This music only will be played when Aarya faces their enemies, but not in combative ways. It either will be played when they're sneaking around, when they feel a sense of danger, or when they're faced with a hard choice. And if we reread the day 10th of the story and choose Emrys's route, then we will face with this sentence!
From that sentence alone, we can conclude that the chanting people said in the middle of the music is a prayer.
So that music specifically are Sval Prayer to Baðmur will protect them. And it is ironic because the person they're praying to is the one they're fighting against at the time. Another sad part is the fact that Aarya needs to pray to themselves when faced with that kind of situation! Why is it sad? Because it shows how humane Aarya is despite being a demon, they're afraid of dying before finishing their mission. So whenever faced with hardship, they will always pray to Baðmur and themselves to survive.
If you listen to the music carefully, even at the beginning, the music is already fast-paced despite starting with sad tunes. It shows how urgent those prayers are and how the Sval situation really is. They're grieving and in pain, but they cannot wallow in that pain for too long or they will lose their life.
TLDR; I hate humans in this game
#royal order#otome game#visual novel#I probably overanalyzed the music#but to be honest#it's a fun things to do#my theory and analyzation probably just a stretch because I hated humans in this game#but i have a fun time regadless#but yeah#don't think too much about the music and just enjoys it XD#aarya de chabenet

So I was replaying Royal Order to get Iris's bad ending right?? And I found something cute
In Iris's bad Ending route, Emrys gives Aarya a plant as a talking companion because Iris refuses to talk to Aarya (for a completely valid reason in my opinion).
The thing is, it mirrors his route, where he's also got Aarya a plant companion because he's too busy and cannot accompany Aarya
And for me, it is just the cutest thing ever!! He knows how Aarya sometimes feels alone because of their status as "The last Demon Sovereign alive" so he will try his best to at least give Aarya a talking companion so they will not feel lonely!!
For fricking sake! I love him very much! He's so loyal to Aarya despite Aarya not knowing his true identity in other routes! (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡
Also! I need one for Darryl's route so the "Emrys gives Aarya plant companion Trinity" is completed xD
#royal order#emrys of sheorya#they're just the cutest and i love both of them so much#otome game#visual novel#HolyFox#Yes#Their ship name is HolyFox!#Why?#because one of them is the holy black tree and the other is black fox!#it's a simple as that xD#and no one will change my mind! Anonymous M Inspired
Do you know that Anonymous M song where people said that when Miku turned gray it was because she was expressing her true feelings, but when she had colors, it was when someone forced her to say something she disagreed with? I have been having some thoughts about Aarya since hearing that song and reading people's reviews on the game stories.
[Spoiler under the cut]
People said that despite being a 1000+ years old demon sovereign, Aarya was too naive and peaceful to believe in the high council when they discovered Nidhöggr's death. If we think about it, disregarding how grief affects people in different ways, they have a point!
If we choose the Emrys route, Aarya is said to be different from Nidhöggr. Where Nidhöggr wanted peace, Aarya wanted justice. Where Nidhöggr will forgive her enemies, while Aarya cannot do that. If we choose Emrys's route, the Aarya in that route is completely different from Aarya in both Darryl's and Iris's routes. Aarya in that route is closer and more in favor of the Sval than Aarya in the Iris and Darryl route. Also, Emrys's route is the only route where we can take revenge for Nidhöggr's death.
If we compare Aarya in Emrys's route with Darryl and Iris's route, we find out that, Aarya is more vengeful and rather intimidating in that route compared with the other two.
It makes me think, What if the same thing that happened to Miku, happened to Aarya?! What if Aarya's "true feelings" are deemed too "ugly" to be shown, that's why it will only end up in a bad ending if we choose to let Aarya act on their true feelings?! What if Aarya is forced to be naive and hopeful to the High Council when in truth, they're not hopeful or naive at all?!
What if the only thing Aarya wanted to do when they heard about Nidhöggr's death was to torture Harald and exterminate all humans, but "something" forced them to be peaceful instead?!
What if Aarya had no other choice rather to act on "naivety and peaceful" thought? I mean Aarya straight-up calls Ven a naive person for being unable to picture Aarya as a cold person. They called someone that unable to see them as their old persona as a naive person. They know hoping on High Council when they wanted to hide Harald's crimes is too naive.
But hey, at the end of the day, Aarya probably knows... If they wanted to reach their happy ending, then they needed to discard their "true feelings"
