The Samsung Galaxy S9|S9+
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ (shortened to S9 and S9+, respectively) are Android smartphones produced by Samsung Electronics as part of the Samsung Galaxy S series. The devices were revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 25 February 2018, as the successors to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ has nearly identical features of the S8 batch, with the same display size and aspect ratio, just like its predecessor. One highly regarded change to distinguish between the models is the location of the fingerprint sensor. While the S8's is found beside the camera, the S9's is directly underneath it. Most notably, however, the S9 line is primarily equipped with several camera improvements over the S8.
The phone has received generally favorable reviews, with critics mostly noting the enhanced camera and better positioned fingerprint scanner, while criticizing the fact that they were rather very similar to the Galaxy S8 line as a whole.
Samsung Galaxy S9|S9+ SPECS:
Dimensions: 147.7 x 68.7 x 8.5 mm
Weight: 163g
Screen size: 5.8-inch
CPU: Snapdragon 845 / Exynos 9810
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 64GB
Camera: 12MP rear, 8MP front
Battery: 3,000mAh
The Samsung Galaxy S9 is a great phone, but one that hasn't really kicked on from the Galaxy S8, bringing a very similar design and screen to 2017's version. The improved biometrics was sorely needed, and the camera is a leap forward, but the amazing low light capabilities have resulted in sacrifices elsewhere. A top, top phone, but the S9 Plus outshines it. The Samsung Galaxy S9 release date was March 16.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 is the phone that's supposed to lead the charge where the Galaxy S8, one of the best phones ever tested, left off - but it's not as much of an upgrade. Well, that's at first glance, because there is a raft of updates that some would find appealing. Yes, the design is identical to the Galaxy S8, and in reality this really should have been the 'S' variant of that model if Samsung ever wanted to ape Apple's naming strategy.
But there's also a new, high-power camera on the back that brings genuine innovation in the dual-aperture shutter, as well as a more robust frame and so, so much more power under the hood. The screen is brighter and the dual speakers make this more of a media marvel - and the Galaxy S9 fixes one major flaw with the S8 by making it easy to unlock the phone with your face or finger, which 2017's model failed at - and that's why we've named it as one of our best smartphones around at the moment. Galaxy S8 would have realized quite quickly that the biometric unlocking features of that phone almost made it unusable. The fingerprint scanner was too hard to reach, the iris scanner too unreliable and the facial recognition just too poor. Samsung needed to do something, and it has, with all three features now working seamlessly and interchangeably.
Intelligent Scan marries the iris scanner and facial recognition to make unlocking your phone with your face a far, far simpler task, and as mentioned the fingerprint scanner is much easier to hit. The speed of the Intelligent Scan feature is so much better than last year... where the iris scanner and facial recognition on the S8 were between 30% and 50% accurate, the two together on the Galaxy S9 yield success almost every time.
In low light the iris scanner is still a bit slow to react, and not always pleased to let you in (in this case, Apple's Face ID absolutely destroys it for accuracy and ease of use), but it's so simple to just flick your finger to the scanner on the back that we never had an issue.
The Samsung S9|S9+, it’s a lust-worthy device, and one that its owners will cradle and appreciate over time. Some will choose it for its looks, and that is a decision I understand completely. The build quality and materials are both beyond reproach.

Comparison and Contrast (February 24,2018)
"The Notebook"
I actually saw the movie before reading the book by Nicholas Sparks, which to a certain extent was a bad thing. This was only a bad thing because, like most people, I enjoy being able to create the characters in my head in the way they were described rather than picturing the actors. The movie follows the book pretty well which made me happy as both book and movie lover. After watching and reading it became apparent to me that this has to be both my favourite movie and book. The love story is both heartwarming and yet tragically sad for all viewers and readers. We are introduced to Noah Calhoun as the narrator in both the book and the movie and we can’t help but instantly fall in love with his sweet character.
There are a few differences in the film than in the book but this happens with most movies. The director thought that the film needed more drama in order to keep the audience interested in how their relationship turns out. In the movie we see Noah and Allie getting to into an argument after Allie’s parents clearly state that Noah is not good enough for their daughter. This makes Noah incredibly upset and causes him to leave the house. This argument between Noah and Allie causes them to break up, leaving the viewer just as upset as Noah and Allie are. However, in the book there isn’t an argument between Allie and Noah, it is much calmer.
Our first encounter with Noah in the movie at the fair ground really showed off Noah’s personality which I loved. We were able to see that he was bold, flirty and determined, allowing us to see that he was not going to give up until he had Allie for himself. Both book and movie showed the events that took place over the summer and portrayed their summer romance amazingly. The movie was able to show us the vibrant colours and wonderful music in these scenes that the book wasn’t able to show us.
I have always said that I prefer the books to the movies because they give me more detail to work with and really bring me into the book. However, I have to say that the movie really captured the story of the book perfectly.

Cause and effect ( February 24 ,2018)
Typhoon yolanda in the Philippines, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded. We all know that in the past there's alot of trees that can absorb the water to help lessen the incoming water and to prevent floods, but due to the illegal loggers that cut down trees and people who continuously throw trash everywhere , the effect of that is alot of houses and some buildings are damaged and people are affected by the typhoon.

Classification ( February 24,2018)
In order for us to understand how all living organisms are related, they are arranged into different groups. The more features that a groupof animals share, the more specific the group is. Animals are given scientific names so that people all around the world can communicate about animals, no matter what language they speak (these names are traditionally Latin words).Animals belong to a number of different groups, starting with the animal kingdom.
Kingdom
All living organisms are first placed into different kingdoms. There are five different kingdoms to classify life on Earth, which are Animals, Plants, Fungi, Bacteria, and Protists (single-celled organisms).
Phylum
The animal kingdom is divided into 40 small, known as phylum. Here, animals are grouped by their main features. Animals usually fall into one of five different phylum which are Cnidaria (invertebrates), Chordata (vertebrates), Arthropods, Molluscs and Echinoderms.
Class
The phylum group is then divided into even smaller groups, known as classes. The Chordata (vertebrates) phylum splits up into Mammalia (Mammals), Actinopterygii (Bony Fish), Chondrichthyes (Cartilaginous Fish) , Aves (Birds), Amphibia (Amphibians) and Reptilia (Reptiles).
Order
Each class is divided into small groups again, known as orders. The class Mammalia (Mammals), splits into different groups including Carnivora, Primate, Artiodactyla and Rodentia.
Family
In every order, there are different families of animals which all have very similar features. The Carnivora order breaks into families that include Felidae (Cats), Canidae (Dogs), Ursidae (Bears), and Mustelidae (Weasels).
Genus
Every animal family is then divided into small groups known as genus. Each genus contains animals that have very similar features and are closely related. For example, the Felidae (Cat) family contains genus including Felis (small Catsand domestic Cats), Panthera (Tigers, Leopards, Jaguars and Lions) and Puma (Panthers and Cougars).
Species
Each individual species within the genus is named after it's individual features and characteristics. The names of animals are in Latin so that they can be understood worldwide, and consist of two words. The first word in the name of an animal will be the genus, and the second name indicates the specific species.

Descriptive Paragraph (February 16,2018)
The night sky was juniper-purple. The sound of intoning bees filled the air. The stars were glowing like beacons for the lost souls of the world. A feathered medley echoed through the trees. The garlic smell of ramsonsdrifted through the air. The clouds were bracketed to the eternal, summer sky. It was like a dome of solar blue. The grass was silk soft. A broth of smells swirled around me. The food we ate was honeysuckle sweet.

Enrichment #6 (February 10, 2018)
Social media has been influencing our lives for quite some time now and the trend of using it is ever increasing day by day. It is used by people as a platform to interact among each other, share personal photos, videos,  views and reviews on different topics of daily life, politics, sports, markets and much more through the internet with the use of devices like computers, tablets, and cell phones etc. Education is no exception in using social media. We know that education has been dependant largely on the print and electronic media for quite some time, but those media are expensive due to lesser availability, on the other hand, social media is inexpensive and easily available. Now most of the instructors and professors use YouTube to show students different kinds of videos related to their subjects and hence their productivity has gone miles ahead of what it used to be before. As students use Facebook nowadays, so teachers have come up with this idea of making a common page for all the students to share the updates regarding any changes in class schedule, dates due for assignment submission and quizzes. It helps students to keep in touch with their teachers and ask about the difficulties in the courses while sitting at homealso for the instructors. The most important aspect of these social media is that they promote open discussion about things. There are countless benefits of social media that can be applied to education. You don`t need to search hiring professional essay writers online, just remember the basic format of essay writing and start writing about how social media has helped you as a student
