yo yo im so sorry for my inactivity today but i went on a date??? and i just got back from seeing the new mockingjay movie and oh my god i cried but im seconds from crashing but ill be on for replies in he morn!! ilysm <3

“My mom was always like that too. I have six siblings, so if I had something the other six didn’t it had to be split and shared,” she paused, looking up at the other girl. “I’m sorry that I’m rambling.”

“I don’t blame you, you shouldn’t be obligated to share something that’s completely yours. Seems kinda rude to make someone do that. I would honestly shove it all in my mouth too.”

“Barely feed them?” her eyes widen at this, “Wow, this has been nice and all but if I’m not getting food, I’m heading home,” she shook her head, her tone sarcastic. “I’m kidding, but come on, what’s that about?”

“Then you have nothing to worry about.” He nodded. “She’s probably a first year. They tend to hoard food like this a prison sentence and we barely feed them.”

“Shhh, I’m going about this in a difficult way. It’s more fun like that,” it was a lame excuse for her own choices, but she didn’t want to admit her fear of her own mother. She brought a hand up to her face once she had cooled down, poking her cheek, “Sorry,” she mumbled. “Okay, but I’m not that small.”

“And that’s why you’re going to school… instead of being more independent and I don’t know, exploring the world?” He chuckled as the blood rushed to her cheeks making gums ache and the veins under his eyes become a little bit defined before disappearing again. “It’s only the truth.”

She raised an eyebrow at the girl, about to question what she meant when it hit her. “Oh, right, duh,” she mumbled, shaking her head at her own stupidity.

“It’s alright, no worries. I’m not a big fan of this kind of thing anyways.”

She can’t even breath over to fit of giggles that started after watching him, “That was, wow,” she managed to get out, grinning at him. “I might just have to give it a listen now.” She nods her head slowly, “Ooohh, that’s understandable. At least you can avoid that very awkward situation.”

“He’s very talented. One of my favourite lyrics is, I get up in the morning, turn my swag on, look in the mirror and say waddup, i’m getting moneeeey,” he laughs, moving his hips a little, so she can imagine the great beat that supports the lyrics. “Um yeah like…if I’d go home with someone or I’d take someone home and one of us suggests ‘hey let’s netflix and chill’ and a moment later, everyone’s naked.”

“That’s some lovely music right there,” her tone sarcastic, eyes wide as he speaks. She can’t keep herself from laughing though, shaking her head lightly at the boy in front of her, “I’m just having a hard time envisioning you listening to it.” She raises an eyebrow, “The other way?” she questions, pursing her lips.

“I’ve been told that he’s fun! And well, he is fun but the song is basically just ‘yeah and we’re fucking and we’re chilling’ so I assumed that’s what it’s about. He likes to mention that he has a lot of money, too,” he shrugged, a small pout forming on his lips. “To be fair, I’m glad that I found it out this way and you know…not the other way.”

“Money boy” the small girl laughs, “What the heck were you doing listening to someone that calls himself Money Boy? I don’t even know if I want to know this answer,” she shakes her head. “That’s adorable. It usually starts as people enjoying Netflix and then it just kind of...” she trails off, raising her eyebrows, “Escalates.”

“The worst thing about that german rapper is his name. He calls himself money boy, so I assumed that he probably knows a lot about netflix…ing and chilling,” he shrugged, a small appearing on his own lips. “I guess I just always assumed that people really liked netflix, you know?”

“These young hooligans with their wild innuendos,” she teased, a smile on her lips, “But you seriously didn’t know? It’s quite a big deal on the internet.”

“Apparently i’m the only person in the entire world who didn’t get the real meaning behind Netflix and chill. Thanks to a brilliant german rapper, I’m finally up to date now.”

“I just want to prove her wrong, show her that I’m more than just pretty, I don’t know,” she shrugged her shoulders, “It would be nice to not have to listen to her anymore though.” She turned a light shade of red at his words, able to piece together their meaning, “Thank you.”

Corbin chuckled, shaking his head. “It’s just the truth. Mine has been dead for over 200 years, it’s quite interesting to not have to listen to anyone.” Crossing his arms over his chest, he smirked. “Ma petite fleur, such a cute name for someone so small.”

“Oh, right. Cool,” she nodded her head, “I was just trying to finish it before someone pulled that whole ‘Miss Cossande do you have enough to share with everyone’ thing and I’d have to pass my doughnut around the class.”

She laughs loudly. “Don’t worry about it, just making sure if I should spend what little money I have on it.”

“I didn’t steal it,” she shook her head, “I’m like, not sneaky enough for that. And I’m a bad liar.” She shrugged her shoulder, “This girl in the dorm next to mine, I don’t know, she’s really weird and has more food in her dorm than I’ve ever had in my entire life.”

“I can’t exactly tell you if you’re going to get in trouble if I don’t know where you got it in the first place. Unless you stole it, then that’s punishable.”

“Yeah, yeah,” she  rolled her eyes, “I know.” She nodded her head, a smile appearing on her lips, “Mhm, you are pretty scary. I’m Marigold, bu the way. Or Mari, whatever.”

Corbin rolled his eyes. “You’re mother shouldn’t be controlling your life,” he chuckled. “Scaring. As I’m sure you can tell…” He trailed off, hoping to get the girls name.

She let out a laugh, covering her mouth with her hand, “Shoot, you saw that?” She wrinkled her nose, shaking her head, “So embarrassing. I’m sorry. I’m fine though, I just--- yeah. Hungry,” she stuttered out her explanation, nodding her head.

“No, no, it’s okay. I was just worried that you were going to choke, it looked like you didn’t even chew. Did it go down okay? Looked kinda’ painful.”

“Well I... Would I get in trouble if I tell you?” she asked, eyes narrowing at the taller man. “Because if I will, I totally have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“I didn’t ask to have some. I just wanted to know where you got it.”

“I am really sorry,” she explained, wiping her mouth with her hands. “Yeah, it was pretty good. Not to like, rub it in your face or anything. I just--- yeah.”

“Well, it’s alright. I guess I can find another donut elsewhere. Was it good at least?”

“Exactly,” she nodded her head. She let out a laugh at his accent, “Liberal studies. My mom said that there was no way she was sending me here for scaring because I’m ‘too cute’,” she rolled her eyes at this. “What about you?”

Corbin couldn’t help the chuckle that left his lips. “You could be the silent and deadly type. What school are you attending?” His French accent slipping into his words.
