[ MAID VERSE. ] one glass of tj? check. 2 spoons of marinara sauce? check. a generous squirt of ketchup? check. a slice of tomato on the rim of the cup? it’s there. you got it all. maod presents the drink with a bow, and holds the tray out right in front of him. “ happy birthday, rei - sama, “ he mumbles, trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible. “ i made it just how you like it. “

‘ thank you isara - kun , how nice of you ~ ’ he takes the glass from the tray along with a spoon to mix the contents . he happily notes the consistency ; it’s a bit thicker than plain tomato juice , which tells him his maid has added other ingredients . rei doesn’t bother with a straw for once , instead , he just places his lips on the rim and drinks it all in one go — his adam’s apple bobs with every successive sip , one after the other with no break in between . once the glass is empty , he eats the tomato slice that was on the rim and cleans his mouth with a napkin .

with crossed arms, he approaches the taller boy, a soft smile apparent. he reaches out to ruffle his hair, as if it wasn't already disheveled enough. "it's your special day today, isn't it, ritchan? no wonder you're looking so energetic —happy birthday~ !" he hums, though quickly shooting him an apologetic look. "i wasn't exactly sure what you wanted as a present, so feel free to treat yourself to a~nything today, alright?"

his cheeks flush slightly a soft pinkish hue, a smile forming on his face as he stares at the other with genuine love in his eyes. “ fufu..~ there’s only one thing i want from you, maa-kun. “ he replied, grabbing the other’s hand and intertwining his fingers with the other boy’s. he leans forward, getting close to the other’s face, his smile growing but there was no hint of his usual mischievousness hidden in it. he let his eyes fall closed, puckering his lips a bit before locking them with mao’s, leaning into a deep kiss for the other.

after a few seconds he separates from the other, though only for a bit, brushing his tongue over his own lip. “ i just want that, okay, maa-kun? “ he said softly before leaning back in to steal another kiss.
