Why is Apple a Successful brand?
Have you ever wondered how much of an effort has Apple made to build their brand?
Apple was founded back on 1st April 1976 by college dropouts Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. They came with a vision of making a computer small enough for people to store in their home. After being successful with their project they introduced several products such as iPhone, iPod, Apple watch and so on.
Today Apple is the most valuable brand in the world surpassing Amazon and Google (Dailey, 2021). Their products are not cheap in compared to their competitor giants. But why do people pay that extra money for?
There are controversies over Apple and their motives. Despite this, among the Apple users, the company’s reputation for caring their customer remains unchanged, even strengthening further. Apple is dedicated to make technology that is easy to use, seamlessly integrated, and private and secure. As a result, Apple’s empathy, competence, and integrity drive trust in the brand (Myhrer, 2021)
Unlike their competitors Apple has created their eco system which easily syncs all the data in the eco system making it easier to access from any device. If you have an iPhone or iPad, all of your pictures are available across the devices you are connected with, even on the tv in your living room. All you need is an internet access.
It all starts from owning an iPhone that will drag you to the eco system making it comfortable for you to connect to the system. Why? There are several products that the third party provide that are compatible with the iPhone, but you still end up using their products due to how easy it is to use within the eco system (apple magazine, 2018).
Apple has been successfully providing quality and services that customer feels safe and insured despite their high prices. The consistent service and quality is among the main reason for the company to succeed over the period of years.

Why digital marketing is vital for any business
A global Web Index (Buckle, 2016) survey found that on average consumers own 3.64 connected devices from smartphones, tablets, wearables, laptops and consoles which has access to the internet.
We live in a world of internet, and we are lucky to have web-based media and paid publicizing. Before the era of digital marketing, entrepreneurs were paying hefty fees to promote their business on the tv, radio newspapers and magazines.
The businesses had no specific target of the customers and were uncertain about outcome. The advertisement program would be limited to either someone reading the papers or someone sitting in front of the television set. Have you ever wondered how much time, effort and money is being spent on the advertisement? How would you know that the money spent on advertisement is bringing you new clients?
An effective marketing strategy is required to reach out to the potential customers. So, it’s time to upgrade your marketing blueprint. This is the era of digital marketing and successful businesses are adopting to this contemporary marketing skeleton and experiencing better results that can be tracked compared to ancient marketing practice (Jack, 2018).
Consumers heavily rely on digital means to research about the products they are interested in (Dholakia, former chief marketing officer, Marketo). With the advanced digital marketing taking over conventional method, now you can target certain group by sex, age, interest and various other categories.
As per KB marketing company ignoring online marketing is like opening a business and not telling anyone. Out of all the goals of a company, the major objective is making income. And it is possible by reaching out to the consumers.
A recent stat show that google gets more than 77,000 searches every second (Laurinavicius,2021).
Have you ever thought about marketing your business in google? You might be missing out!

Social Media Marketing (SMM)
📷
In general terms social media marketing refers to the use of social media platforms and social networks to promote a company’s products and services. The use of social media can help connect with the audience to build your brand, increase sales and drive website traffic.
The use of social media marketing (SMM) is increasing every year to engage current and potential customer, raise brand awareness, promote a corporate image, and encourage sales of products and services (Kotler & Keller, 2016).
The practice of SMM is not new but has boomed over the course of period due to the increasing users of social media platforms such as Facebook, twitter, Instagram and YouTube ( Bija & Balas,2014).
The three main characteristics of social media marketing identified by Kotler and keller (2016) is: it is rich, interactive & up to date. The richness of SMM can be seen from the amount of content that can be offered with the ability of the consumer to choose how much to access. The concept of SMM being interactive is because of the information that can be adapted or changed with the response of a consumer. It is a up to date marketing tool because the messages can be put together quickly and disseminated through various social media platforms. (Kotler& Keller, 2016).
Social media commonly refers to internet and mobile-based channels and tools that can allow users to interact with each other and share opinions and contents. It involves the building of networks and encouraging participation and engagement (CIPR, 2011) SMM is focused on using these media channels to monitor and facilitate the customer which is shared through digital media to encourage positive engagement with a company and its brands.
Along with the advantages of using social media marketing as it can be more costly and time consuming, susceptible to misleading information, risk to possible security breach and it allows negative feedbacks. Marketing on social media can be a slow process as it takes a lot of time to be a renown brand and trust among the users. However, it can be boosted for a certain amount which is not cheap.
Also, social media advertising allows negative feedbacks which might impact the company’s reputation. Not only that, but consumer might also get offended unintentionally share their experience with their colleagues.
If the social media marketing is used in a proper organised way, it can generate a huge traffic and attract new potential customer helping the business or a company to expand.
