Small update for those that still follow this blog *Guessing I’ve been booted by now, no idea. Haven’t had the chance to keep in touch*. Baby boy Makoa had to stay in the hospital for almost a week due to not being strong enough for a carseat, BUT he finally got to come home Wednesday. He’s a good lil’ boi and he is adjusting pretty well. Just needs to learn how to eat THEN sleep... not both.

Yall, I apologize for my lack of activity for both here and Gin, if I even have either of the two still, BUT I do have a pretty decent reason this time at least. The past few months has been a crazy one, and the last month itself was a doozy. Myself and our Mi-Na Seung here in Isola have done a thing.
Y’all, meet Makoa ~ He was brought into this world by his own authority yesterday around 11 am ... and what I mean is that he was suppose to be here today at some point with an early BUT he decided to go a day earlier cus that’s how he rolls. The feeding tube you see is just to help him feed a bit because he is between hungry and tired from the few weeks early. He had blood sugar issues as well, but it looks to be under control right now.
So yeah. ... Baby.

dongbaek-kkot:
Finally! Her patience was running dry and the hunger was only getting harder to ignore. Instead of appearing relieved to see him make his appearance, she hissed in annoyance. “Why did it take you so long?” He may be used to her moods but due to circumstances she was a tad crankier than usual. Maybe after all was settled she’d apologize for her behavior. For now however, she stepped inside, ignoring his comment on her being a vampire.
What she couldn’t ignore however was seeing those crimson hues of his peer into her. Even if they more or less patched things up at the island, she was still jealous of them. “Careful, I heard vampire eyes can hypnotize people too,” grumbled the now golden eyed woman. Not that she even knew that he was capable of being hypnotized. She didn’t even know her coco hues had turned into honey.
With furrowed eyebrows, she folded her arms, giving him a piercing glare. “Don’t tell me you’ve been sleeping this whole time?” Her gaze lingered on his hair to his slightly ruffled clothes. Definitely looked like he had been laying down. Sniffing the air, she paused, noticing that he also gave off a certain sweet scent. “You ate dangos recently?” Mi-na blinked, a bit surprised. She then proceeded to move closer to him, frowning. “Wait, how many did you eat?” Perhaps it was just her enhanced sense of smell but he literally smelt like dangos. Did he always smell like that? How often did he eat sweets? What about his blood? Would it also taste like dangos?
Lips parted, showcasing her small fangs grow into larger and sharper versions. “I want a bite..” It came out as a whine, her eyes fixated on his neck. As she took another step forward, she quickly took another step back. There was a pained expression upon her face. She felt rather embarrassed with herself but instead of admitting it, she turned her back to him. “Wait, vampires probably can’t even eat actual food, can they?” Hopefully she could play it off as though she was talking about the sugary desert this whole time. Her pride was taking a beating all on its own, having found herself admitting she wanted a bite out of her friend.
“For starters, yes. I was asleep...” he commented as he would move on into the kitchen to gather some supplies. He knew what was going to be needed, but the process would be a difficult one. Vampires were a troublesome sort of species to have to deal with when one wasn’t accustomed to being exactly involved in such a species. He knew what he would need to do for this, but he needed some sort of plan that would at least hold some honor for the both of them.
From how it seemed, her senses were heightened which had him thankful for not being involved in any battles as of late. She’d smell that, and she would be harder to contain. After grabbing a cup normally for sake, he had the thought of needing to get a new set after this. With some towels in hand after that, he would walk over to a table to set the cup down along with the towels. “I had a couple. Don’t be too surprised. Dango so happens to be my favorite treat. A way I can relax,” he commented as he would next walk to grab some disinfectants and begin cleaning off one of his kunai. What he was about to do wouldn’t be pleasant, and it may cause a scene if he wasn’t careful with her. Honestly, using his own eyes right now would help a lot, but he wasn’t certain of putting the undead into an illusion. Chakra was life ... She was technically dead as of now.
“Control yourself. I know exactly what you need; however, I cannot have you doing anything to jeopardize my life here,” he spoke before placing the kunai in the palm of his hand. With a quick cut, he would begin to bleed with his hand clenched and hanging over the cup to let the pour fill the sake cup. When finished filling, he would grab the towels to wrap his hand up for the time being. Surely, this blood would be enough to help her hunger. “Have yourself a drink ... I just hope it is enough right now,” he spoke. What more? He refrained from having to taunt her. She knew the power of his eyes, but she didn’t know all of it. Hypnotizing was another specialty... So surely, he could cancel hers out if needed.

dongbaek-kkot:
The moment the candy had been dissolved into her system, she was afflicted with a wave of thirst, of irresistible hunger. Had she made a mistake? Possibly but she hadn’t expected something like this. When she had been reading up on the supernatural creature, she’d gotten curious. It was similar to the Gangshi, or commonly known as the Jiang shi. In all honesty though? She was just thought the outfit looked cool. It was a mix of Victorian Goth with a modern flare.
Rushing out of the costume store, there was a noticeable difference in her senses. Her smell, eyesight, and hearing were inhumanly heightened. Combined that with her newfound strength, it was a bit overwhelming. Not as overwhelming as the hunger, especially when the metallic odor of iron smelt as similarly sweet as her favorite desserts. For a moment she allowed herself to be swayed by the aroma, following the scent until she realized the crying child who had hurt themselves on the pavement. Their mother was trying to comfort them as she cleaned the wound.
Quickly flattening her palms against her face, she staggered backwards, frightened by the sudden urge to attack. She knew for certain that she needed to leave before she became blindsided by the hunger. Turning from the scene, she leapt up onto the roofs, looking for a certain man that could help her in this situation. He hadn’t responded to any of her messages she left on his phone earlier, so she decided he might have wanted to stay home and just chill. So much for that.
“Itachi!” Fists pounded against his door. Usually she’d burst right in but for some reason she simply couldn’t. “Itachi!”
With the days approaching, he knew better than to get involved in too much. It was why he made the silent decision to disappear from the public for awhile unless he needed supplies. Asleep on the couch with an arm draped over his eyes, he was asleep rather well for a change. Perhaps the reason for such a good sleep was due to the fates desiring a wake-up call in the form of someone beating at his door. A small groan as he moved his arm and eventually reached over for his phone to check the time. It was then he saw the messages left for him as he slept.
“Great...” he muttered ... but she hadn’t busted down his door? Why was that? Perhaps she decided to be a little kinder despite her ‘knocks’ capable of waking the dead? ... That was actually humorous, thinking on it. Dark jokes not really set for the mood right now. The Uchiha stood up and made his way over to open the door to figure out just why she was being so noisy.
“What is it, Mi-” he paused in his sentence as he took a great notice in her appearance. Pale, fangs ... He activated his Sharingan for a brief moment to confirm ... No beating heart. What he could assume here was she dressed as one, therefore she became one. That was his guess, but he may be wrong. Either way.
“You’re a vampire ... Explains a little bit.” Along with her messages and loud knocking. Also explains why she hadn’t kicked down the door. Only one thing he could do right now. “Come on in. Better to not have you around temptations,” he spoke as he stepped to the side. Staying asleep would had been worth more for his patience if he knew full well she’d be there for eternity.. or going on a hunt.

moondemi-goddess:
There was far to many people here; with the amount of locals and the added amount of those captured by those strange people it almost struck her as being too over populated.Of course she did come from a world where it was her, her mother and only a handful of maids and guardians. The lack of having any males in her mothers kingdom also equated to the lack of having many people, and on top of that she was pretty sure the maid and guardians were just creatures of her mothers creation. Sort of like dolls or puppets.
Seeing someone clearly lost in there thoughts approaching she considered speaking up, but had found it to be unnecessary after he literally moved out of the way in time to not run into her. He was clearly well balanced to be able to avoid contact even whilst lost within his own mind.
“It’s normal for people to get lost in their thoughts; you didn’t bump into me anyways so there’s nothing to forgive.” She commented half turning around to look at him. “Interesting, don’t think I’ve met someone so aware of their surroundings before.”
A small chuckle with the comment given which ... may seem odd for a lot of people at first especially if they didn’t know the Uchiha. His profession and past ... restrictions did give him some heighten senses. When one couldn’t rely on vision as much, other senses became a necessary crutch.
“I’m a shinobi ... If that helps make sense of that...” he would speak the small truth with a hand moving up rest on the back of his head. He wasn’t exactly too sure how much detail he needed to speak on that, but he figured that much would be a given. “One that isn’t alert doesn’t quite make the cut, but I’ve been hovering over that line as of late. This city... has a knack of testing my peace of mind...” but that was another story for another time. He wouldn’t bother this one with the years of experience he had been stuck with. Such a life of a ‘labrat’. If he could be called that now, anyway.
“Itachi, by the way. Uchiha Itachi. I’ve been with this place for quite awhile, and it’s starting to take its toll ... to say the very least. With the end of the year coming up, I tend to get a little nervous.” he spoke another little truth over the matter that had distracted him. Why he chose to was to see what she may think of the place. Whether she held similar concerns or if she never gave it thought.

Steven hadn’t even been looking at the decorations. He’d been eyeing the mountainous bags of candy on the shelves beneath. His eyes wide with stars, Steven reminded himself what too much sugar did to his acne.
“Huh…?” Steven blinked, forcing his eyes off the candy and looking up at the other shopper. They were familiar in the sense that they reminded Steven of someone he had an embarrassing history with. Steven tried to push that out of his mind.
“Oh, yeah! It’s so fun! You can make your house super scary! But not too scary so that no one stops by… then you’d have so much leftover candy, and there’s no way you can eat all that!”
Steven had only discovered Halloween here. They didn’t have it back home, though they did have traditions of scary movies. Finding out about all the holidays he missed out on was one of the good things about this place.
A pretty innocent response that left much for Itachi to wonder how much this one truly expected. He had no way of even speaking his doubts, either. Somehow, it didn’t feel right to rain on another’s fun. He would eventually give a small smile as a nod would follow after.
“It’s quite a peculiar time of year to say the least. It’s a rare time where one’s limitless imagination can shine out.” May it be for something scary or something just innocent. The possibilities were a bit endless for anyone that had a mind for that sort of thing. Not to mention the creative sweets that existed. With Steven looking at the sweets, Itachi assumed candy was probably on his mind.
“But it is also a day that we all should be careful about. Halloween is a time to celebrate a variety of nightmarish creations for some, but ... It could pose a risk for us all..” So much for keeping a positive outlook on this.

Regardless if he was right or not, she hated how much this man knew so much about her. Who wouldn’t be upset about someone holding back on them? It was unfair he had memories of her but she didn’t have any of him. Her jaw clenched down in annoyance. “That’d only apply in a real match! I was expecting you to hold back in the first place, since I figured you wouldn’t use your illusions—“ She scoffed, rolling her eyes. “But surprise you had more than just that! Which you could have shown off during a sparring session or something!” Instead he had completely thrown her off when all she wanted to see was a silly side to him.
He was right about this too, which only aggravated her further. She wanted so badly to just spite him but she bit her tongue. They were in an unfamiliar situation, surrounded by beings that could only be described in nightmares. “Don’t you ever tell me to calm down again,” she mumbled unhappily before turning from him to observe the area they resided. They were in some kind of cafeteria, though the tables were scattered around on its backs or sides.
Moving to the counters that the food would have been displayed, she noticed a kitchen in the back. Maybe there would be something useful there. As she slipped through to the other side, she scowled. “How long have you been here?” The lights in the kitchen weren’t as bright as the cafeteria side as only one side was lit up while the other was pitch dark. If there had been anything there, it would have made an appearance with the earlier fuss right? Staying in the lit area, she began exploring carefully.
“Maybe it wasn’t necessary, but I knew the results of holding back as I said.” he spoke his peace over the matter, remaining calm. He figured he would deal with this for a long while, but she would eventually calm down. Eventually... Right now, he wasn’t doing a good thing at deescalating the situation. Not good especially with the matter currently at hand.
“I haven’t been here for long. Showed up in a hallway, entered the kitchen here, and ... you see the results,” he explained which may say she had yet to run into too much trouble outside of personal affairs thanks to him. Red eyes kept on the areas around them that were too dark to see as he knew an escape would be necessary. At the same time, he wondered if they could find information here that would tell them more of their situation or maybe even more of the island, itself. It was a gamble, but he had nothing to lose. ... Though, he couldn’t let her die here. Maybe being risky would be unnecessary.
“And if it makes you feel any better, there is a lot more I keep hidden as far as my abilities go. Since you don’t seem too keen on learning what I can do, I suppose I’ll keep the rest a secret if it makes you feel better,” right, he was suppose to be calming her down. Perhaps a grudge was being held having to deal with her childish behavior?

“ALL done.” She’s getting into that Halloween spirit. She’s even wearing fox ears to match with her fox tails. “I even made some new drinks…They’re green tea of course but I enhanced it with some special effects to make them look like they’re oozing and spooky.” She didn’t add anything funny so don’t worry.
“Ooooh! I’m so excited!”
A hand had reached up to poke at the ears just out of sheer amusement over the vision. Wasn’t there a whole month to go, still? Some people couldn’t wait, and he couldn’t blame any of them. A shame that past experiences had killed most of his excitement for any sort of holiday.
“I wonder how many people are going to be confused about the ears and tail during the holidays. At least to those that don’t know you,” he commented before his hand moved away and his eyes to turn to the spooky tea. It wasn’t a bad thing for the holidays at all. In fact... “So... Are you going to call it Spook-Tea?” ... Was that a pun?

Although she was getting more used to navigating the cellular phone, she was still prone to mistakes. One of those being tapping on the island displayed at the top when she went to swipe up to see what the other islands consisted of. It wasn’t as though she was afraid of where she’d gone but she was not prepared in the slightest for a fight. There was no weapons or items on her, thus she’d have to scavenge for something to make up for that.
As she carefully roamed the halls, she overheard a loud commotion in the distance. Curiosity struck her as she drew closer to investigate. Once she turned a corner and appeared in front of an opened cafeteria, she immediately recognized the man slaying his opponents with ease, his eyes gleaming a familiar crimson. Surely you’d think she’d be happy to see someone she knew, especially a friend but she was still irritated with him from before. During the jousting event, the Uchiha had activated his eyes, leaving her unable to strike him once. This wouldn’t have been so bad if she absolutely saw no reason for him to do such a thing.
With most of the gruesome living deads being permanently put down, none of them paid her any attention as the ones left had a single goal in mind. Fire burst out before even they fall to the ground. As this was all happening she had obtain a fairly large chunk of concrete that had been broken from the rest. What was the point, huh? She glowered at him before launching the piece at Itachi’s head, knowing full well he’d dodge it effortlessly.
"Who knows! I mean– what was the point in you using your special eyes on a silly game! Do you know how uncalled for that was?! You so did that just to spite me, you jerk!“ Now wasn’t the time for a tantrum but oh well, she never really read the mood well.
It wasn’t as much of a dodge as it was his hand shooting out to catch the piece of concrete without even turning his head. He wasn’t alone, after all. Even more, he was with someone that ... was far from pleased with him right now. It was to be expected, and the anger would had come one way or another considering the knowledge he possessed. He simply couldn’t win against her, and he had to mend the wounds of pride as time progressed from his ‘errors’.
“And how is it that you would have felted the moment you realized that I held back for so long? Taking it easy on you due to the strengths I possess? I did what I did as a way to ease the anger. I already knew whatever choice I made would lead to your anger back towards me. I decided to just chose to get it over with now rather than later. Honestly, it’s worse when it’s later...” he spoke as if he knew all too well of the matter at hand. It wasn’t like he had to deal with this before. Dropping the debris, he would turn his attention over to her with the very same red eyes that probably could set off a timebomb ticking within her.
“But right now is not the time to worry about a ‘silly game’, Mi-Na. You need to calm down and get your head straight. You can yell at me another time, once we’re free...”

Not too often he would walk by another that held an aura that reminded him of several back at home. The male he caught sight of seemed normal enough, but he could sense something far more about him that could bring a chill to anyone. He may as well call it instinct considering all of the foes he had faced in the past. He had no reason to think of anything other than a simple feeling within. Normally, his judgements were right unlike his plans. Sighing, he knew it may as well really be nothing as the stranger didn’t hold intent in his body language. Maybe he was just on edge due to the holidays approaching.
“Good day. I don’t think I’ve seen you around, before,” Itachi spoke as he approached the other with the thought of just checking things out. Not only that, but he may as well make this decision due to having stared for a brief moment during his brainstorming of the matter.

A bag was around his shoulder as he made his way along a busy section of the city. Careful of the traffic, he would weave past others with a task in mind. He had something he wanted to build up back home. Create something for emergencies yet closed to any visitors. A hidden section in a room for tools, scrolls, and weapons would be rather nice to have. Plus, it was a project to keep him busy and active without doing anything that may risk his life or even the light in his eyes. He had to keep safe, but he had to be productive. He had people to keep in mind. Never did he want people to worry about him, again.
In an instant, he found himself dodging another as he found himself lost in his thoughts. Thankfully, he snapped from the thoughts in time and his alertness kicked in an instant. Maybe he needed to get back to training, after all. ... or maybe he just needed to stop thinking and just live.
“Forgive me. Didn’t mean to space off like that,” he commented to the woman he may had hit if he continued on in his path. He really needed to stop his overthinking.

It wasn’t often he would catch others in a thought. He was just as guilty being out and getting lost in his thoughts. Most would normally be newcomers trying to figure out their situation at hand. How to get home, how to get away from the island, how any of it was even possible? Some questions he still asked himself to say the least. This one in particular didn’t seem lost in that sense. He didn’t recognize her, though. May as well see if he could offer any sort of assistance.
“Ah, good day. I can’t say I’ve seen you around before. Do you by chance need a hand with something?” he would ask, having plenty of time to kill. A break from training, a break from ninja tasks... It was just a day to be a normal human. How rare these days were...

His eyes were fixated on his fox mask used for critical moments. Eyes checking the piece for any damage or cracks which surprisingly were non-existent. He had taken very good care of it and had been careful not to take anything disastrous. How old was this thing? That was a question he had wondered before. Whether or not it was a duplicate or truly from his time as ANBU, he may not know that answer. What he knew was the time that had passed in this city, and that was long enough.
His eyes did catch something from the corner as he glanced up from his examination of the mask and towards one with an unusual hair style. The colors were something unique, and it gave off an impression of fire. Perhaps a fire user in that sense, but it wasn’t right to judge.
“Good day. Been here long?” he would ask, a casual conversation to offer the other.

It had been a simple stroll as Itachi explored several options for holiday decorations. He wasn’t too sure of Sasuke’s plans or if he would do anything, but he figured he would have some options in case. Halloween and Christmas would be there before any of them knew it, yet Itachi really questioned the point of doing anything at all. Come around the season, he had a deep feeling that decorations would be far from anyone’s minds. Hell, he wouldn’t be shocked if the decorations came to life for Halloween.
“Just what I need... A skeletal army and haunted pumpkins...” he muttered before glancing around. He saw another close by and cracked a bit of a grin.
“What do you think? Worth decorating for Halloween?” he would ask the rather random question. Maybe it would had been better to ask if it would be safe. His paranoia around this time of year was ... strong to say the very least.

To say this was what he expected? Well, he didn’t expect things to be so simple. Coming to this prison island was probably the worst idea he had, but he decided to go along to see not only if he could find information but if he could also help anyone that may be here as well. He’d admit that he actually wasn’t too sure what it was he clicked on ... Now that he knew, he had a thought of what he needed to do. Unfortunately, being surrounded by gruesome souls possibly used as experiments was not one of his plans. Red hues were watching the group approach him from all sides. Reasoning was out of the question, and he couldn’t do anything that’d risk anyone else’s safety if he wasn’t alone in this. With a kunai in hand, the Uchiha would have his vision dance between each approaching being. As soon as the first one launch, the others would follow with a shriek.
Sharingan eyes would lead Itachi’s movements as he cut down one while positioning himself to dodge the oncoming enemy. A dance of war would occur with Itachi striking and cutting those unfortunate enough to be in his range. His strength was enough to push back the enemy, but the kunai was what ended the lives when he found a kill shot. Before long, he would throw the weapon into the throat of one while weaving hand seals followed with his hand throwing more tools, shuriken. Fire would soon ignite the weapons before flying out to hit their targets and set them ablaze. Before long, Itachi would be the last one standing with a number of bodies covering what was once a cafeteria floor ... It’s what he assumed.
“... What is the point of this? A choice that leads to danger?” he asked himself before shaking his head. He only found more questions in the end.

dongbaek-kkot:
That was probably an understatement but she remained quiet on it. She was still a bit sour about his younger self. Possibly because she only wanted to help him but had been rejected in a humiliating way. Did she hold a grudge against him for that? Truthfully she didn’t. At least not to the him she was with now. There was still things she wanted to ask more about, knowing that there was more to the situation than what he had shown her. Unfortunately it was in the past, he seemed to be able to look forward, something she was glad in seeing.
“I see.. well, who knows. ~ Maybe like you someone will recognize me.” Just as she flashed him a smile, it fell at the realization of what he just said. Years? Just how long has this man been outside the realm of his homeland? Then again, as she had wondered earlier, he could have chosen to purposely make this his home. With the subject being brought up, she decided she’d at least ask. “Have you never thought about going back?” She hoped it wasn’t something too personal. The last time she really preyed into someone’s past they had literally disappeared on her, leaving only a note.
Pouting, “Secrets are boring.”
As he changed the subject, she perked back up, grinning. “Not going to lie, that wasn’t my actual intention but that does sound like a good bonus.” All she had wanted was to see him doing something far from his usual routine but she did have challenging him as an afterthought. Although she hated defeat, she was never one to back down from trying again. She was insanely stubborn when it came to that, even if this time it would be just a silly game.
‘Next,’ called out clearly, pulling Mi-na’s attention from Itachi to the woman seated in front. “Hehe.. Sunshine here and I would like to sign up for the Nerf Jousting.” The woman glanced over to Itachi before nodding her head, asking for their names in which she answered before she wrote it down. ‘You two can go into the back and wait your turn then. Have fun.’ With that settled, she walked into the waiting room, waving Itachi over to follow. This was going to be fun, win or lose, she’d make the most out of it.
“It... is a possibility.” he would say to be an optimist about the matter, but he held his doubts. It was only due to how long he had been there and how much he’s seen people come and go. Even if she had met another here, there is no promise that person would remember. If that was the case, neither would ever know. How a city like this could make so much complicated in regards of memories.
He did give a smile to her reaction of boring secrets, but the smile faltered as she brought up exactly why she was there once they were next. Nerf Jousting... This was her idea all along, and he had to question how wise this would be-- No, she had no idea of what may come from this. She only knew of the illusions he could create. She had no idea of what his eyes could do for him outside of that. He could warn her, and he should ...
“You do realize that your chances of winning in this are very slim if you wish to face me,” he spoke. He wasn’t going to warn her of why this was. He decided for her to find out, herself. It was a rough set of ‘training’ he will attempt. Even if it was for fun, he knew the competitive side of her. He also knew what may await of him once she finds out the truth of his cheating eyes. Oh well... May as well enjoy the fun while he could. He’d pay for it before too long. He would look- Wait.
“Sunshine...?”
